I called multiple times, left multiple voice mails and only when I called their supervisor - then they called.The installation work, the price and the ""field service"" provided were great. "

Description of Work: We previously used this company to install a chain link fence; approximately five years ago; about $2,000.00. |This time, after two calls, they finally called me back. They are very busy and not really interested in a $600.00 job. However, they would have one of their freelance people call us. After five days we assume they are not going to call.

Description of Work: They fenced the back and side yard of our property. We used them because 2 of our neighbors had used them and were happy with their work. Their price was very close to the other 2 estimates we received. Joe worked with us giving us 3 options in the placement of the fence. The workers got the job done in one day and their work appears to be good. They did the job without any damage to our yard and we too are happy.

Description of Work: We have new backyard chainlink fencing installed by Imperial in 2002. Great installation and very prompt. We had a tree fall on the fence in 2014. They were very slow to respond and very reluctant to repair. We were put on the bottom of their list. We found another company that was responsive, reasonable and local as well to do the work called Armitage Fence in Greenfield, IN. We will call them for all of our fencing needs next time.

Description of Work: THEY INITIALLY CAME OUT TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE. WE TOLD THEM THAT WE WANTED TO DO THE WORK, WHICH WOULD BE REPLACING A PRIVACY FENCE. A COUPLE OF THEIR WORKERS WERE CONCERNED ABOUT WHETHER THIS COULD BE DONE PROPERLY. WE SPOKE WITH THE OWNER, WHO WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND ON-THE-BALL. HE CAME OUT AND SAID THAT THE WORK COULD BE DONE AND THAT THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEM.

+ -1 moreIMPERIAL FENCE WAS ONE OF THREE FENCE COMPANIES THAT CAME OUT TO QUOTE ON MY JOB. THIS IS A FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED COMPANY, AND I REALLY LIKE THE OPERATION. THE GENTLEMAN THAT PROVIDED MY ESTIMATE WAS THE LEAST KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE THREE, AND HE WAS 1 HOUR EARLY FOR OUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT (ON A SATURDAY MORNING), BUT THAT WAS THE ONLY ASPECT OF MY DEALINGS THAT I WAS LESS THAN PLEASED WITH. THIS COMPANY INSTALLED A WOODEN PRIVACY FENCE FOR MY MOTHER-IN-LAW ALMOST 20 YEARS AGO, AND THE FENCE IS STILL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE OFFICE STAFF IS GREAT, AND EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE. IN THE END I DECIDED TO USE ANOTHER COMPANY (PRIMARILY DUE TO THE FACT THAT THIS COMPANY HAD JUST COMPLETED A JOB FOR ONE OF MY GOOD FRIENDS, AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB), BUT I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE IMPERIAL FENCE FOR A FUTURE PROJECT.

SALES REP AGAIN ASSURED US ON HIS VISIT TO MEASURE THE PROPERTY THAT THEY WERE EXPERIENCED IN HORSE FENCING. DID NOT GET BACK TO US WITH ESTIMATE. AFTER 3 FOLLOW-UP CALLS, REP FINALLY RETURNED CALL. HE TOLD US HIS COMPANY JUST INFORMED HIM THEY NO LONGER INSTALL AGRICULTURAL FENCING AND WOULD ONLY INSTALL OUR FENCE IF IT WERE ALL WOOD. THEY MIGHT CONSIDER PUTTING UP A WOOD AND WIRE FENCE IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER IF THEY WERE NOT BUSY. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE SELECTED ANOTHER COMPANY AND TOLD IMPERIAL WE WOULD NEVER CONSIDER THEM FOR ANY FUTURE JOBS, WOOD, VINYL, OR OTHERWISE.
