They were very prompt very fair I was very pleased with thier work. The people I spoke with were pleasent. They removed the old damaged fencing and then replaced it with a new gate and fence. The installer was very diligent made sure every lined up correctly. Would recommend in the future.

Called this company and the estimator was to show up at a specific time, he did not show up, an hour after we were to meet I called them and was told the estimator could not find the address and rather then just call me for directions he went on to his next stop on the other side of town. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They had a crew come out and put up my fence, they did a beautiful job. The men were polite and respectful and cleaned up after themselves. We had to make an adjustment, one call they were there in two days fixing the problem. This is the second fence Imperial has put up for us and I just can't say enough good things about how the company is run and they stand behind the work they do! Hard to find that these days! Wish I could put a few AA+++ for customer service! I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to put up a fence!

We have a backyard swimming pool, it was there when we bought the house in 1998. The fence was rotting. We came across Imperial Fence Co who estimated the job at a day and a half and it took a week and a half. The first guys took out the old fence and the posts and that was good. But then when they went to put up the boards it was all irregular at the bottom. So I got hold of them and they agreed I was paying for good materials. Jorje came out and took a sledgehammer to what had already been dome and took it all out. The final product looks good but the fence itself is horrible, but as I said to him the extra work could have been avoided if you had just talked to me!

and quot;Salesmanand quot; did not introduce himself until I told him my name and offered my hand. He shook my hand and told me his first name. Maybe he thought the job was too small but he certainly did not try to and quot;selland quot; me. I asked many questions - but he didn't offer much on his own. He did spend a lot of time with me. I was surprised when he said he could call or mail an estimate to me. I said, please call. Well, no call, and three days later when the estimate arrived in the mail he was $200 higher than the company I went with. Ten years ago Imperial fenced a large back yard for me and I remember the salesperson was good and the work was good. Too bad this guy didn't measure up.

We would never use this company. They were extremely unprofessional, rude and nasty. Even if they had a better quality, I would not use them based on the treatment that I received. A company out to "make money" is very evident with them. They seem to have forgotten what customer service looks like.

I called Imperial fence for an estimate on a vinyl fence. The appointment was made for 5:00 pm on a Wednesday. I waited until 5:20 and was about to contact them when Gary finally called me and said he was running late. He showed up at about 5:40, which was 40 minutes late. I do appreciate the call but it should have been made before the appointment time and not after. Gary was very nice and friendly and very apologetic for being late. He said he would have an estimate to me by the next day. Two days passed and I still had not received an estimate or a phone call. Gary called Friday and apologized for the delay and said he would get the estimate very soon. A few more days passed and still nothing. I called them the next Wednesday, a week after the original appointment, and asked when the estimate would be finished. Gary was not in the office but they took a message and said he would call me. I received no call back. I finally received the estimate Wednesday evening. It did include some pictures he drew for our HOA submittal, which was very nice and helpful. I just wish they would have been a little faster getting the extimate to me. It makes me wonder if we had gone with them how long the job would have taken.....

It went great. Ken is a true gentleman and very nice person, but his office could have been run better.

They were very good. They came on time, and they cleaned up their mess.

Do not do business with Imperial Fence! This is our story: We had a six foot privacy fence at our previous home made of Copperwood. When we moved we wanted a similar fence, but the firm that installed it did not service our area. They recommended we contact Imperial Fence. The salesperson from Imperial came to our new home, and measured for the fence. We specifically discussed a ten foot gate. At our previous home a similar gate had a steel frame. The salesperson assured us that a wood frame was adequate. However, he did agree to put in five inch wood posts at the gate instead of the standard four inch posts. This was written directly into the contact. On the first day of the installation the workmen installed four inch posts for the entire fence including the gate. We contacted the company, and they acknowledged the mistake. On the second day of work they changed the gate posts to the proper five inch size. The job was finished on the second day. Overall the fence looked fairly good, but the workmanship was not as good as I hoped for. The biggest shortcoming was the finishing details. The boards were installed starting at one end of a section. When they got to the end they simply cut off a board to fit the space left. In several places the finishing board is only an inch or two wide. A better practice is to cut off a small amount from two or more boards so that no one piece looks out of place. Small details like this make the fence look less than first rate. If I had written a review just after installation I would probably given Imperial a “B”. The experience of working with them and the quality of work was acceptable, but not great. Within a few days of installation the ten foot gate started to sag in the middle. After about a month the two sides of the gate had overlapped, and would have touched if they had remained in the same plane. At that point we contacted Imperial Fence. They agreed to send someone to fix it. We explained that the hinges appeared to be bending, and they assured us they would replace them. When the workmen arrived they did not have any hinges. Their solution to the problem was to trim the gate so the two sides did not touch. They did nothing to correct the problem. This was worse than if they had done nothing. Before they cut off the center boards I could have made a new frame myself, and covered it with the original board. After they trimmed it, I did not have enough material to fix the gate myself. A review at this point would have probably been a “C” or “D”. We immediately called Imperial about the unacceptable “fix” to the sagging gate. Gary came out to look at the gate, and agreed to replace it with a steel-framed gate for free. This seemed like an excellent deal. I would have expected to pay extra for the upgrade to steel. When steel gate was installed we were horrified at its appearance. At the two sides and the center the steel frame was not covered with any board for approximately 8 inches. Most fences around trash dumpsters look better. During the installation of the steel gate my wife watched the workmen closely hoping to catch any bad mistakes. What she observed was so bad she did not know what to do except let them finish, and fix the mess later. The center latch of the gate requires a pipe in the ground for the latch to rest in. The workmen apparently forgot to bring a pipe of the appropriate size. They had a shovel with a tubular handle so they took the end cap off and cut a few inches off. This section of pipe was far too short to work properly to secure the gate latch, but they used it anyway. The sad thing is we are located very close to both Lowes and Menards where they could have purchased the appropriate pipe without the long drive back to their home base. The gate looked so bad that we felt something had to be done immediately. We sent Imperial Fence pictures of the gate. Someone called and said that the owner would call us about it, but he never did. They did offer to try and fix the gate, but by this time we had lost all hope that Imperial was competent to construct a gate that was both structurally sound and attractive. We decided to call the people that installed the fence at our old home to see if they could fix the gate. Apparently with the downturn in the economy they were now willing to drive to our new area for work. They were flabbergasted with the way the gate (and the rest of the fence) was constructed, but they found a way to rework the gate so it looked much better. The results were not quite as attractive as they would have been if they had built the gate from scratch, but they did really well given the mess they were fixing. It was worth the small amount extra to have a competent firm finish the job. At this point, I would have to give Imperial an “F”. Throughout this narrative I have omitted all the calling and prodding required to get Imperial to do the work. At every step of the way Imperial would promise to do the work or call us back soon. After several days we would call back and get an answer like: “You are on the schedule for tomorrow”, or “somebody was sick.” At first these excuses seemed plausible, but as the process dragged on we became very skeptical.

We gave them a deposit. At the time of deposit, we asked them to make sure they notified us of the anticipated date of fence installation so we could be at home. They did not notify us. Luckily, we were still home when they arrived, at our inconvenience. After they removed the old fencing, we looked out and they were installing the wrong fence pattern. We brought this to their attention immediately and showed the two installers the contract. The two installers had a boom box that was so noisy and loud, it bothered others. An adjacent neighbor complained to me, and then directly to Imperial Fence company that the installers ruined her yard and garden with their equipment and work. She threatened to sue their company. They took out the incorrect fencing and installed the correct fencing and pattern before leaving.

I always was able to get them to come out and give estimates quickly. They would draw a picture and stake it out. Only thing I had to do is call the utilities to have the lines marked. Then, both times they came out within a week to put the fence up and it took two days.

I called three companies to give me pricing on the exact same thing. This was the company that I decided to go with based on the price. The rep that came out was a bit high, but was able to get the owner down a bit based on our continued use of their services. The installers were good and I am very satisfied with the end result.

The salesman came out the day after I called to give us an estimate. They came out to do the installation and the underground utilities were not marked correctly by the utility companies. Imperial called and had it corrected and were very prompt in returning to complete the work once the utility lines were marked properly. The fence looks great and we are very pleased.

They gave us an estimate for the product, which we ended up paying more than. They are not very well organized. They seem to have communication issues both internally and externally.

It was a great experience. They gave us a very accurate estimate and finished in a very reasonable amount of time. They left the place very clean and were very friendly.

I contacted them several months in advance and scheduled the removal of the fence. They took down four sections of fence with minimal issues, but when it was time to put the fence back up, the problems started. The manager (Gary) came out to my house to access how to put the fence back up - he then started screaming that he couldn't put the fence back up until I had my landscapers regrade and put more dirt down. But, then apologized for losing his temper. I immediately called my landscaper while he was at the house to arrange for more topsoil. The topsoil was laid a few days later. I called imperial fence to once again schedule the fence installation. After several phone calls, Gary finally came back out to my house to make sure the landscaper had put down enough soil, and he said the fence would be installed after the utilities were marked (granted they had been marked 3 other times at this point). I waited for another week for the utilities to be marked, which never happened, after must frustration I called to get the utilities marked, and was told that they never called the company to mark the utilities. I called imperial fence and told them I called and got the utilities marked, can you PLEASE come out to put my fence up. I was always told I needed to speak to Gary - who was never available - so I left voice mails, pleading with him to call me back. Gary never returned my calls and after waiting for 2 1/2 months of false promises, I hired another company to put up my fence.

Extremely satisfied with the product and the service. Service was performed as promised both on time and quality. The product exceeds our expectations. Fence material and gates are made of quality material. Only complaint is the caps on fence posts do not fit snug - more of a product concern than an installation one. Had to use epoxy myself to secure these caps. Would recommend the product and company to others looking for a quality privacy fence that compliments the home.

Did not offer the type and style we were looking for.

The fence looks great, but they told us the fence would be installed within 3 weeks. It took them 9 weeks. We were informed the process would take 2 days. It actually took 4 days. They left cigarette butts in the yard (not good when you have young children). Imperial Fence 'baited' us with 90 day same as cash. However, the financing company they used 'switched' this on us and said that payment was deferred for 90 days even though interest started from day 1. This was corrected after complaining to Imperial Fence and their finance company. We were overall dissatisfied with the service.

They would never get back with him, they were rude to him, hung up on him and told him to go somewhere else.

OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS POSITIVE. THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS THOROUGH AND GAVE US AN IDEA OF OUR OPTIONS FOR FENCING. THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGHER THAN OTHERS, BUT FROM OUR RESEARCH AND THEIR REFERENCES - THE QUALITY PROVIDED BY IMPERIAL WILL BE WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY.

THEY WERE BEYOND A GOOD SERVICE COMPANY! THEY MOVED A FENCE AFTER IT WAS INSTALLED BECAUSE I MADE AN ERROR IN MEASUREMENT AND DID NOT CHARGE ME. THEY WERE REALLY POLITE AND WERE ALWAYS ON TIME. THEY DID NOT VARY FROM THE ESTIMATE. I MADE A FEW CHANGES AND I EXPECTED THEM TO CHARGE MORE, BUT THEY DID NOT. WHEN I CALLED WITH QUESTIONS, SOMEONE ALWAYS ANSWERED THE PHONE. THE FENCE LOOKS WONDERFUL!

IMPERIAL FENCE QUOTED INSTALLATION OF (2) PRIVACY GATES AND A COUPLE OF SECTIONS OF PRIVACY FENCE. WE ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL AND SIGNED A CONTRACT. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE. I TOOK (2) HALF DAYS OFF FROM WORK TO BE AT HOME TO MEET WITH THE INSTALLERS. THEY DID NOT COME WHEN SCHEDULED AND I WASTED MY TIME. THE JOB WAS DONE PIECEMEAL. I PLACED MORE THAN ONE CALL TO THE SALESMAN THAT SOLD THE JOB TO TELL HIM THAT CERTAIN THINGS WERE NOT BEING DONE. I LEFT DETAILED NOTES FOR THE INSTALLERS BECAUSE I WAS NOT GOING TO WASTE ANY MORE OF MY TIME TRYING TO MEET THEM. ONE DAY I CAME HOME AND COULD NOT GET DOWN MY DRIVEWAY BECAUSE OF THE MESS THEY HAD LEFT. I SPENT AT LEAST TWO HOURS WHEELBARROWING ROCKS AND DIRT. ONE SECTION OF FENCE WAS TO MEET AN ALREADY EXISTING GATE. IT WAS NOT DONE. WHEN THEY HAD FINISHED I HAD TO CALL THE COMPANY AGAIN BECAUSE THEY LEFT WHOLE SECTIONS OF OLD FENCE IN MY NEIGHBORS YARD. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

THEY HAD TO ORDER THE FENCING, AND THAT TOOK ABOUT THREE WEEKS TO GET IN, PLUS THE PRICE WAS $1400, WHICH IS A STANDARD RATE FOR THEM, NO MATTER THE HEIGHT OF THE FENCING.
