We purchased our kitchen cabinets from them when we remodeled our kitchen. The price seemed good at the time, but the quality of the delivered product explained why. We bought several upgrades and were told we were getting their high end line. Very, very disappointing - I had to extend a wall to make the cabinets fit because they designed it using the wrong dimensions. Several cabinets were busted upon arrival, which caused several delays with the rest of the work. They were built with sloppy construction, cheap hinges, etc. several cabinets were out of square, which made installation a real pain. Bottom line, avoid this place like the plague!

Cabinets were delivered on Nov. 7, 2007; we began un-boxing them for installation on Nov. 10 and began finding problems described above. Contacted salesman the following Monday; he said he would contact "company rep" but as far as we know he never did. After weeks of no response, sent letter to National Cabinet owner requesting full refund; still no response. Only after we contacted attorney who called them on our behalf did they respond saying salesman no longer worked there. They offered to replace 7 cabinets but refuse to even acknowledge our refund request. Two issues: 1) Their salesman lied to us about the product, but they admit no wrong doing; 2) cabinet quality is awful; even if 7 unusable cabinets are replaced, product is still not what we were promised. Company owners have been incredibly rude and insulting to us. Incompetent sales staff cannot even get replacement order correct. We continue to be without our kitchen with no resolution in sight.
Description of Work: We signed contract to purchase new kitchen cabinets from them in September, 2007. We specified to salesman that we wanted all plywood construction - sides and backs of cabinet boxes. Salesman told us that would require us to purchase cabinets from the manufacturer's new line. Estimated price was much higher than original estimate, but for all plywood, we thought it to be a fair price. We were required to pay half down before salesman would schedule measurement of our kitchen, and balance was required to be paid prior to delivery. Once cabinets were delivered, we found them to be not all plywood construction, and furthermore, half of the order had major construction defects such as boxes out of square, bowed face frames, even a split in the wood of the face frame, broken dovetails on drawers, staples and glue everywhere, uneven drawer slides, overall very poor quality - certainly not an "upper-end" line of cabinets as we were told by the salesman.

This has been a 5 month hassle that we are still dealing with. We were told that cabinets were in, and when we paid the balance we could pick them up. We did this and still did not receive cabinets for over a week. They sent the wrong sizes and styles on 3 different occasions, costing me more money with the contractor we hired to install them. We initially placed the order over the summer, and we still have a cabinet in our kitchen that has no door on it. National Cabinet (Stacy Tober) now tells us that they no longer carry these particular cabinets, and this is basically my problem. It usually takes at least 3 phone calls and roughly 1-2 weeks to get anyone to call me back. I do not recommend this company.

VERY FLEXIBLE AND GREAT COMPANY TO WORK WITH. THEY HAVE AN AREA IN THE BUILDING FOR CHILDREN TO PLAY AND WATCH VIDEOS. ASSOCIATES DID NOT SEEM TO BE BOTHERED BY OUR KIDS AS THEY DID KEEP INTERRUPTING. GREAT ENVIRONMENT. NEVER FELT ANY PRESSURE TO BUY.
Description of Work: VISITED SHOWROOM AND WORKED WITH SALES ASSOCIATE TO SELECT KITCHEN CABINETS THAT MATCHED WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR. SHE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT THEY HAD AVAILABLE. ALMOST IMMEDIATELY WERE ABLE TO SELECT THE CABINETS. AFTER THAT WAS COMPLETE WE REVIEWED OUR KITCHEN LAYOUT AND DISCUSSED THE OPTIONS WE HAD. SHE SPENT ABOUT 2 HOURS WITH US ON THE FIRST VISIT AND ANOTHER HOUR ON THE 2ND VISIT. SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP US FIND A REFRIGERATOR FOR THE NEW CABINETS THAT WAS COUNTER-DEPTH. SHE USED OUR MEASUREMENTS TO SHOW US WHAT THE NEW KITCHEN WOULD LOOK LIKE IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT VIEWS. WE EVEN CHANGED OUR MINDS SEVERAL TIME AND SHE GLADLY MADE ADJUSTMENTS. WE ALSO HAD TO SCALE BACK WHAT WE WERE GETTING TO KEEP IT WITHIN OUR BUDGET WHICH THEY WORKED WITH. WE ENJOYED THE EXPERIENCE VERY MUCH.
