They did a great job, ripped off the roof, replaced needed decking and put a new roof on all in one day. The gutters were done a couple of days later. Both jobs were well done and you tell it was quality work and supplies. We are quite pleased. Plus since we were having our chimney rebuilt as soon as the mason could get to us they put a tarp in that area and came back to put on the flashing so they were sure it would be done correctly. We couldn't be more pleased.

The process went smoothly. One detail was missed but they quickly took care of it as soon as weather allowed.

We were in middle of selling our house when it was determined that the roof had hail damage and needed replaced. Bev Moss and her company prioritized the job and scheduled it within a matter of days. They stepped in and worked with the insurance company on the property damage claim, worked with the buyer of the home for shingle selection, while keeping us informed along the way. The job was done quickly and effortlessly.

All phases of this project went very smoothly and the work was done timely in a very professional manner. This was the third time we have used Moss Home Improvement for major home improvement projects and have always had an excellent experience so it was an easy decision to go back to them for this most recent project. Moss Home Improvement worked with us closely on all phases of the project from working with the insurance adjuster to installing the last trim board. I always have a lot of questions both in going over the contract and as the work proceeds. The owners Steve and Bev Moss and their project manager Benny were always very cordial and willing to take time to answer all of my questions. Beyond doing excellent work, they are extremely nice people to deal with. We will continue to use them for all of our future home projects.

George did the original hail damage inspection & was very informative & honest. Bev was the contact person & could not have been nicer. This is an excellent company & did all repairs on time. We are very happy with how everything turned out & will use them in the future if needed!

We needed the roof replaced on our home built in 1992. We got quotes from 3 providers on Angie's List. Moss Home Improvements were the only ones who mentioned that there was wind/hail damage when they provided the quote. Bob actually came to the home and met with the insurance adjuster. We did have wind/hail damage and thus filed an insurance claim. Bob and Bev (owner) were very professional and helpful. They explained the process thoroughly and helped us through all steps. The roof and gutters were replaced with no problems. We are very happy with the finished product. We would highly recommend Moss Home Improvements!

Had hail storm in Fall 2012. Called Moss because they replaced the roof from a prior hail storm. I can't remember exactly how many days passed from when I first called Moss, but it was pretty quick. Steve noted hail damage. He came back out again to meet with the insurance adjuster, when he did his inspection. Because we didn't get the insurance payment until November, we decided to wait until springtime to do the roof. Bev kept track of our project throughout the winter and kept us up to date on when she thought they might get started, weather depending. When it came time to do the roof, it was determined that the insurance company did not give enough to cover the skylights. Moss worked directly with the insurance adjuster to get this resolved. They called a couple days prior to the start date. The crew showed up at 7am and got right to it. They worked until dark. The next day I saw that things weren't 100% complete or cleaned up. I called Moss. The crew came back and finished. Turns out they had planned all along to come back the next day, they just didnt tell me that before they left for the day. The crew cleaned up afterwards and was hard working. Bev sent the warrantly and final invoice and notified the insurance company promptly upon completion. The roof looks good. We just need some heavy rains to test it out.

They were top notch professionals. I had 17 windows taken out and put in.

They went over and above my expectations. It was like dealing with a close friend.

The project manager came out to take a look. Although he was friendly and offered some good advice, he said his company could not do the work because the fascia boards were "too high." I'm shocked that they are not equipped to handle what I consider to be a fairly routine job for a company such as theirs.

The insurance took care for the roofing service because of hale. They treated us "very" well (adjuster and contractor) They're down to earth and help us pick out the type of shingles that would be good for our house. They just had some unfortunate dealings and miscommunications with their work crews but materials were delivered promptly, on time. Once a complete crew arrived, the job got completed. The HVAC pipe stack collar "got missed, ??" being caulked once the roof was finished and caused a water stain on the upstairs ceiling, which was taken care of by MOSS at no charge. Great job. Thank you. Sorry for the misscommunications.

They were professional, patient, thoughtful and all around a wonderful company to work with. The crew that installed our roof was wonderful and the job was completed in a timely manner. From start to finish it was a great experience.

With weather permitting the crew was on time. The work quality was excellent, we thought the pricing was very reasonable. We love our new windows ant the new look of our front porch. We would contact them in the future.

Had hail damage to my property. Moss Home Improvements was the first, and only, contractor I contacted. From the first call, Bev Moss, who handles the office work, calmed my fears about the process. I had an estimate from my insurance which listed damage to the roof, siding, gutters, screens, and coils on the air conditioning units. Moss contracted the work at the rate quoted by the adjuster. Bev walked me through the process and because of the damage to the siding caused by hail, Steve Moss said he would bump my project to the front so there would not be further damage. Although only two sides of the house suffered hail damage, the existing siding was weathered and the manufacturer was no longer in business. I asked for a quote for siding the remainder of the house (so it would all match) and Steve quoted me an amount several thousand dollars less than I expected. The work was started promptly and completed quickly and professionally. Throughout the entire process, Bev kept me informed of what was being done when and was always available to answer any questions I had. Since this was the first time I have had to deal with a major loss, I was experiencing quite a bit of stress at the thought of having to locate a contractor (or several for all I knew). Steve and Bev Moss were so professional yet friendly and helpful, I felt like I was dealing with people I had known for years. They combine professionalism with real concern a fairness. From my first contact with them through the completion of the repairs, there was never a time when I felt I was just a job. Steve and Bev have a genuine "do unto others" philosophy and raise the concept of honest dealing to a new level. I would (and have) highly recommend Moss Home Improvements.

Moss was quick and courteous, and it was very responsive. This is the second time that I've used them, and they did a great job once again.

Storm Damage insurance work! Brian from Moss was my POC for this project. Great guy! Honest and Punctual. Explained the process thoroughly. Did not try and cut any corners or take advantage of my insurance company for unnecessary work. I felt everything was on the level the entire time. Worked well with my insurance company and performed all the necessary leg work. During the roof tear off came across some rotten decking. Stopped the work and waited for my direction before proceeding. I asked for the decking to be replaced and though it delayed the project Moss made sure it was done correctly and charged me for materials only. Thank you! This project involved window replacement. One of my windows had an odd-shaped fanlight window. Moss had a really hard time finding a replacement window for this piece. Ended up having to have a window custom made. When it was finally installed small modifications to the homes structure and exterior were required in addition to interior drywall work. Q&A was evened performed by the company owner, nice huh? This Window really challenged the contractor and delayed the project by months. Though I was not pleased with the duration of the project I was VERY pleased with the final product and was happy that Brian kept me informed the entire time. If you are reading this you are probably doing research on who to hire for your project. Anymore having work done correctly and with attention to detail is almost impossible to find right? I have decided end product is much more important to me than the amount of time it takes to complete it (within reason). Time is relative and every customer probably has their own opinion of what is reasonable. Though this project took longer than I wanted I feel VERY comfortable recommending Moss to you. They are thorough and do it correctly. They do not collect until you are satisfied, PERIOD

Once Steve received the adjuster's paperwork, things moved pretty quickly. I was going to be away from home for about six weeks and didn't know if Steve would be able to get the new roof installed before I left. I didn't mind if it was put off until I returned. I just wanted to be at home when the work was done. Steve did manage to get my new house and garage roofs replaced before I left for vacation. Steve and his crew arrived and started working immediately. The workers moved all my lawn furniture and other items that needed to be moved for safety's sake. Afterwards the workers made sure they replaced all the furniture, etc. back in the proper locations. The work went fast and was all accomplished in one day. The workers were good about cleaning up afterwards. I also had two awnings replaced, gutters added to my garage and gutter covers replaced on my house.. This work was done a few weeks later when I was home from my vacation. Steve had the installer remove my original gutter covers from the house and added them to the gutters on my garage. Steve (as well as his wife) were very easy to work with. I would highly recommend Moss Home Improvements for the kind of work I had done. I am very happy with my new roofs!

Moss was amazing! They were very personable and professional. The work was fast and done well. We just hada baby and they took noise into consideration.

The project went very smooth from start to finish. Steve Moss came out and did a damage assessment and went over in detail all of the damage that my house had received from the hail storm. Mr Moss worked with me and had someone show up with my insurance adjuster and was able to get my insurance company to repair all the damage. Mr Moss worked on and completed the repairs in a very timely manner and very professionally, while working with me to get my insurance payment to them. The company did a very professional job and cleaned up all the debris that was created. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and would re-use them again for any future repairs that may be needed.
