They didn't do the job but, I highly recommend them

The men started at 8 am and completed the work around 5 pm, they cleaned up the area and everything was nice.

I had four people out to give me estimates and they were the most reasonable. I hired them to do the work. They kept me informed of when they would be out based on the weather. They showed up and removed the old shingles, replaced them with new shingles and cleaned up after themselves all in one day. In addition, they also replaced some trim that had been chewed on my squirrels and then came back out within a week to touch up the trim work with paint that I supplied. Overall, they did a great job. Steve is very professional and helpful.

Steve Moss was prompt & professional in his dealings with us, he displayed superior knowledge of the process involving insurance claims and mortgage companies. His work crews were quick, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Quality of work was above average-to-excellent.

We had a great experience from Steve and Bev Moss from estimates through completion of the work, and payment. The timeline he gave was accurate. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work. The house looks terrific.

We had a few problems with communication since a supervisor was not on the job during the entire procedure and I don't speak Spanish. The roof itself looks good. Damage was done to the chimneys when the old roof was removed, the stucco on the brick chimneys was badly chipped. They disguised this by putting higher flashing on the chimneys-but then the color didn't match and looked awful. When I complained a worker came out and spray painted the chimneys and the flashing so that they were color matched. It looks good, but I still wonder about the chipping of the stucco and if any structural damage was done to the chimneys during the roofing. I was told that when the job was completed that they would take a huge magnet and circle the perimeter of the house to pick up any loose nails that might have fallen into the grass, etc; This was never done. I found nails around the house, including some laying in plain sight on the sidewalk. The worst find was in the area next to the garage, where I came across an entire roll of roofing nails, just laying in the flower bed. I think the roof looks good, mostly, though I wonder about the area above my laundry room. The chimneys look good, but again, they were damaged. I think that the problems I experienced with this company resulted because there was not an onsite supervisor to oversee the work, especially during the tear-off when the chimneys were affected. Frankly, I would not hire them again. One thing I noticed was that during the process of getting an estimate and signing the contract everything was handled in a professional manner. When I called the company and complained about the chimneys/debris left in my yard the owner was not very nice, nor respectful.

They were responsive and punctual. The quality of work was good. I would use them again.

They were great to work with and I definitely would recommend their services to anyone. They were very professional, they were quick to get the work done, worked very well with our insurance company, great at answering our questions, and left the home in a very nice an neat condition. We have had no problems or issues with the work. They came highly recommended to us and I would highly recommend their services.

As it turned out, our insurance company WILL pay for full siding replacement, among other things, and wrote us a check for $8050 more than Moss quoted. The same thing happened to our neighbor. Moss did not quote half of the damage and continued to note things that would NOT be covered. Nice people, but they lost our business, and several other homeowner's business as well. Really wasted our time, and their time!

We called them originally after some big spring storms, which was when we noticed water was leaking into our kitchen ceiling. They fixed the seal around where our electrical wiring enters the roof at no charge (they installed our roof 2 years ago). Unfortunately, we noticed more water leaking in after some storms in September. We called again and Steve came out to check inside our attic to find the problem, but our attic opening is tiny and he couldn't fit so they sent another guy out later that day. He discovered the problem wasn't with our roof. The portion of our sewer vent pipe located inside the attic had rusted out. They sent us a bill later on for a service call charge, but after explaining to them that we were not made aware of the charge before their visit they agreed to waive the fee.

My experience with them overall was good. They did a good job and it was a reasonable price. I was always comfortable having them in my home, they seemed like pretty nice people.

My experience with them overall was fine. They always kept appointments and kept on schedule with work. Some places I tried calling and they didn't return calls but these people did a good job.

They came in and did an excellent job. They were awesome. The pricing compared to multiple roofers was great. He was very professional and a very nice guy. The roof I got was better than what I was expecting. It was all around great service.

We were satisfied. They had to replace several pieces of decking so it wasn't just tearing off shingles and putting on new ones. They had to do a lot of repair. They got it all done in one day! They started working at 7:30 in the morning and worked till 10 at night on a Friday night to get it done. They were hard workers.

Well, they are all very good workmen. They are really nice people. They treated us very well. They came on time and did everything they said they would do.

Initial call was answered promptly and the salesman was able to come and give an estimate on Saturday approx. 5 days after initial call. The subcontractor arrived 5 days later early in the morning (7:30) and finished around 8:45pm that evening. Clean up was good although we found some additional nails and shingle pieces scattered about the yard. The team had to come back to correct some minor issues with siding (contractors bent some siding while laying new flashing and didn't secure properly) but this was done promptly after we requested via the salesman.

The owner, Steve Moss, was very prompt for our appointment. He was able to leave an estimate on site which was $2990. Since they did many types of "home improvement", I was not sure if I should use them and went with another company.

I called my insurance company because I had asked if there was hail damage. There was. It took a little bit to get the company and the insurance agency to agree on a price. They were here for two days and then they left. It was great.

Good communication from start to end and a job well done on time. I have used them again since for some flashing work that needed to be done.

Very professional and responsive. We ended up using a company with a more competitive price. However, this price was very reasonable.

I called Moss to get an estimate on a roof leak repair. Their estimate guy came out and began assessing the roof's condition. As he walked around the roof he immediately began shaking his head, implying great concern and disappointment. He also said a lot of "oh no's" and even yelled down at me, "I sure hope you got a good deal on this house, a real good deal, because this roof may be in real bad shape." He stated that he was so concerned about the roof's possible horrible condition that he would need the owner to come out to give me a better estimate. He came down off the ladder and again mentioned that I should have gotten a very good deal on my house because of the poor condition of my roof. He left in a hurry and told me, he and the owner of Moss Home Improvement would be back together. I have never heard from them again. No calls. No visits.

I was given the estimate for the shed roof on the spot.It did take about 4 weeks to get the work done but luckily we were not in a hurry. I believe when we started calling the company they were on vacation and then they were just getting back to work for the spring season so it took a little longer to get the work started than I expected. The job was completed quickly and the workers did a thorough job cleaning up the roofing and nails. We have small kids so I asked them to be sure to get the nails cleaned up with a magnet and they did.
