 + -1 moreThey (Angel and his mother) arrived in morning. They washed inside first and then outside. Some of our windows had recently been replaced and had alot of glue around edges. They did great job scaping glue off and vacuumed it up. Then they did outside of windows. My windows have never looked so good! They were both very personable and polite.

 + -1 moreI broke my wrist on Valentine's Day, slipping on morning ice just one week before my planned birthday party on February 22nd. The party was also to honor George Washington's Birthday, and was very important to me as this was my also my 50th. Every person's 50th is a landmark, especially if their life is on track according to their dreams for it. I am the woman who led the Indiana Tea Party in 2007 which fought the property tax hikes, especially hard felt in my neighborhood. Since I was a young girl in the 60's and 70's I shared a deep connection to George Washington because we shared a birthday. We are both "gingers" and Pisces, the most psychic and intuitive of all the signs of the Zodiac. He was born in 1732. I was born in 1962. My family always told me I was special because I was born on his date. So as you can see, my 50th and my house, had to be perfect. Anyway, I found myself in a pickle and unable to clean my home before the party. I called Angel and asked if he and Milena could fit me in before my birthday. They came two days early, and eliminated the stress for me. I absolutely love their family and work ethic. Highly recommend! p.s. The party was absolutely memorable and the spirit of George Washington is still alive within We, Americans. George is 280 in earth years.
Description of Work: Purchased Big Deal. Angel and Milena cleaned the upstairs and downstairs of a my home on Central Avenue in Meridian Kessler neighborhood. They were asked to clean one room upstairs plus the upstairs bath. The remainder of their time was spent downstairs cleaning the kitchen, downstairs half bath, dining room, 30 foot living room, plus the adjacent tiled sun room. They dusted, swept, and mopped everything, plus they did a bang up job on the bathrooms! I have a cold porch on the back of the house which is a sky-lighted redwood "hippie porch" that is always shut off in the winter. They offered to clean it and did!

Angel and Milena did an excellent job -- very thorough, courteous and just went about the cleaning. I was so impressed that I asked them for a quote to continue cleaning, but they declined (I live in a four story town house and I think the stairs were a challenge). Based on my experience, I would highly recommend.

They brought their own cleaning materials and went about their separate ways doing the cleaning the top floor floors and bathrooms first then working their way to the floors down and then to the kitchen last. They were very efficient and very thorough. The service was from a deal that I purchased on Angie's List.

They were willing to remove screens to clean the windows, but not storm windows. This was specified in the details of the "Big Deal" that I bought for their services -- I should have checked it more carefully.

This housecleaning service on the other hand was an opposite experience. They came on time. Followed instructions, and did the best they could with the time available. I recommend them.

Milena actually got my bathtub cleaner than I do. Everything went well and I would like to have them back again. Melena does not speak English, so her son Angel interprets.

I visited about a day or two after and thought Milena was very thorough and the bathrooms looked great. I know it was a pretty big job for even 2 people to handle as it really was overdue for a deep clean. I would recommend her services! Due to her Big Deal coupons, it may take a few weeks to schedule your cleaning. I think the wait is worth it.

Some cleaning companies do not organize blankets or arrange things so they look neat, but this company did a nice job with the small details.  + -1 moreMilena Cleaning did monthly house cleanings for me for about six months. At first, their services were timely and acceptable for the rate I was paying. However, over time, it was clear that they were overburdened and unable to keep up with their schduled. They started to rush through their visits and began missing tasks and breaking things.
Description of Work: I found Milena through the Angie's List Big Deal! They cleaned by 2900 square foot home for $85. I've had other cleaning companies, both chain franchises and privately owned. Angel and Milena were very nice and polite. There seemed to be a communication challenge from the first visit. My expectactions from past experiences were met on the first time. I invited them back once a month and they bid me the same price for future visits. The quality and completness of their house cleaning services started to deteriorate almost immediately. Complete rooms were left undusted. During their last monthly visit in July, three items were broken including a family-heirloom mantel clock. Angel did have the clock repaired at his cost within a day, and returned the broken horse statute to Kohl's for a credit. However, the ceiling fan in the master bedroom was burned up when they apparently tried to clean it without turning it off. My husband is in the process of replacing it. I had a long talk with Olga McCormick, Angel's sister. about my expectations. We set up another cleaning service for August 29th. In this Friday's mail, 10 days prior to their next cleaning, I'd a typed letter by mail. It included an apology for any damages caused. In that letter, Angel and Milena stated that they were "branching out into another kind of business and taking a differnt direction". They they quit...without two weeks notice. He did include an $85 counter check (assuming it was for the broken ceiling fan". This is a very unusual way of dropping a customer or customers. Especially considering I found them on Angie's Big Deal.

 + -1 moreI just had this cleaning crew come to my home. Angel and his mother. First of all they were to be here at 4:00, they called at 4:05 to tell me they were running late. No big deal... Honestly, that wasn't what bothered me. I had purchased a "Deal" on Angies list, 4 hours of house cleaning. Yes, it did have stipulations, like 1 person 4 hours, 2 people 2 hours. But, being a former house keeper/cleaner I would have asked if they would like to purchase additional hours. My house is rather large and I would have liked to have the whole house cleaned not partial and quick! They were more concerned with setting their timer for 2 hours and leaving exactly 2 hours after they arrived, not when they started. Plus, what about the 1/2 they were late... Overall I feel they could have done a better job, if I would have not purchased the Deal! I would have been happy to pay extra for them to have completed the job and take a little extra time. I would NEVER expect them to stay longer without extra pay. I am very fair since I have cleaned homes in the past. My advice, be careful when you purchase a deal! Unfortunately, I did like them they were nice. I just wished I would not have purchased the deal.

When he arrived, he went around the house, and removed all the screens before he started. This made having the work complete that much easier. Once he cleaned all the windows, he then reinstalled all the screens. I would definitely use this company again! Very easy to work with, and customer focused!

 + -1 moreThey worked consistently and were very hard workers. The only difficulty I had with them was that the mother did not speak any English and the brother had to translate. That is not a negative it's just the way it was. Both of them worked very, very hard. They worked from the time they got here until the time they left. I have no absolutely no complaints with them at all. The work was fine. I had more to do but I had only paid for such amount of time. They worked fast and consistently and what they did was done well.
