MIKE'S HANDYMAN SERVICE

We were very pleased with everything and believe we've found our new handyman service.

They kept falling down from the weight. He was very good. Very prompt and efficient. He cleaned up after himself. We would definitely use him again.

Mike provided an estimate that was well under what we were getting from contractors. His was also the best of 3 handyman estimates we received. He was very responsive during the scheduling process, even though we had dropped the ball for a couple of months. Mike and his son Jake performed all of the services themselves. They were always punctual and called us whenever there were any issues with arriving when they said they would. They procured whatever materials they needed in addition to those that we provided and made sound recommendations for anything additional that they thought should be done while keeping our budget in mind. They even did small things such as tightening door knob screws that they noticed were loose without additional charge. All of the work was very high quality and done efficiently. They came in under estimate on everything (significantly so in some cases - such as with the tile). We were so happy with their services that we ended up adding a few things for them to do during the week that they were at our home. We would highly recommend them and will call them again if we need further work done.

It went fine. I have no complaints. He was courteous and kind. He was also very prompt with his scheduling. He was also neat and tidy. He would always leave things better than how he found them.

They are efficient, thorough and reasonably priced. I'd give a 100% in all the categories. I would definitely use them again. Price was not outlandish, especially since they had to do some problem solving. It wasn't a clean job, they had to use their heads. It was old equipment.

We were satisfied with his work and the price. He was professional and cleaned up after himself. They were not the most responsive company as far as setting up an appointment, but once we had a date set they were here when they said they would be here. When the grout on the tile dried out it had holes in it, and although we put the sealant on, we're not sure what the issue is with the grout, so we're a little bit leery about the quality of the finish.

Mike and one co-worker (his son I think) came and expertly installed my door. No project is without its surprises, but they did an excellent job in squaring up the door and making sure it opened and closed properly and that it sealed properly as well. They did the work in about 2-3 hours and cleaned up the worksite. I am very pleased with the whole experience.

He came out and said that because our window is so large he couldn't give us a solid number. He brought another guy to help him and he finished the job very quickly. They didn't have to take the glass out. They even painted it after it was done.

Mike was able to save me a lot of money by fixing the doors, instead of completely replacing them. He was easy to talk to. He clearly explained the reason why he wanted to handle the job the way he wanted to and it made sense. I liked that he was able to measure up to the good things other people have said about him on Angie's List.

The work was great. They were late, but called to let me know. Upon arrival they insisted on covering their shoes to minimize dirt. They cleaned up when they were done.

Mike is reliable, his prices are reasonable, and we feel he always does a good job.

It went fantastic. He was really busy so it took a few weeks for him to get out. But once he got here he worked very hard. He was very timely and efficient. I thought the price he charged us was fair.

Mike and his crew were punctual and kept me up to date on the plan as they worked around other jobs and the weather. Very efficient use of time. All waste was cleaned up, they even vacuumed the sawdust around the deck and were very careful not to do damage to the adjacent Koi pond. Suggestions Mike made based on his experience helped make the project better.

I have been using them for a few years for numerous jobs. The quality of work is just absolutely top notch. They can do everything. We know we can call them for anything. We bought a desk from an office store and they came and built a shelf to match the desk perfectly. It's beautiful.

Although I was angry that he forgot about me and subsequently never showed up, I understand that mistakes can happen. I would give this company another try when I have another job in the future.

Mike was very good about getting back to us when he said he would. They were in the middle of a big job and I appreciated knowing that it would be a few weeks until he could get to our job. The work looks great and we have already scheduled with him to do inside work. He is very helpful and the price was fair.

We purchased the wrong kind of door (new construction vs. remodel), so the door did not go in like it was supposed to. It was also a half inch longer than the old door. Despite these problems, Mike knew just how to fix them and the finished product looks great. He explained the problems as they arose, and how he planned on fixing them. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. They cleaned up after themselves when they were finished, which was very nice. His actual charge for 3.5 hours of work and a dumping fee for the old door was within the range that he gave me over the phone, even despite the difficulties. We will definitely have Mike do some more work for us in the future (he's already given me a quote for the next project). From now on, though, I will ask for his advice/guidance before purchasing any materials, in order to make sure I know what to buy. I think this time around it probably would have saved me about $100 in labor if he hadn't had to make the wrong door fit.

Mike did a great job. Did not ask for a deposit and did the work while I was out of town. Very trustworthy and reliable. The completed work looks great.

It has been an excellent experience. He told me where I could go to get different things and he just gave me really good suggestions on what materials we could use. He wouldn't do anything that he wouldn't do in his own home. He was the first person that actually took that outlook and really strived to do a great job.
