They arrived at the appointed time and finished in about two hours. There seems to be well within the allotted 6.0 inches of insulation that was contracted to add.

They set an appointment less than 24 hours from when I called. Tech was on time to the minute. He was friendly and took the time to politely explain what the problem was and showed me how he fixed it and what to do if it happened again. Since he didn't need any parts, I was just charged for the $85 service call, but they gave me an Angie's List discount which saved me $10.

Phone calls were made to the company to set up an appointment. An appointment was scheduled and an estimate was done at that time. The estimate included a lump sum amount but we wanted a breakdown of the charges. After many phone calls and no response Mr. Phil Miller finally spoke with me about the request. He said he'd get the estimate to me and a number of days later, nothing. I made yet another call and Mr. Miller seemed disgusted with the request saying this was "an unusual request" and that "most people don't ask" for this. He was rude and unprofessional in his approach to me, a potential customer. By the time he faxed the document we had already decided to go with another company. I was surprised that a company would handle a potential customer in this fashion. I definitely would not use nor recommend this company.

Given the time required to do the install, the price was cheap. The door operates very smoothly. Larry and Dave were friendly and courteous. Larry, the lead guy, knows his stuff. An adjustment was required a few days later. Mike came and made the adjustment quickly and cheerfully. The only clitch was the installers forgot to call ahead, but I was already at the site, so no problem.

Overall, the door looks great and was installed well. I like their 1 year warranty on the labor. The only problems I had were minor: they had to come out the next day to replace a cracked seal and they didn't clean up real well. I would absolutely hire them again.

Service person was prompt, friendly, communicative and explained exactly the problem and what needed to be done. Great experience. I would use them again.

Courteous and arrived on time. Very pleasant repair experience.

I'm not exactly sure of the names but I believe it was Dave and Larry. Dave showed up early and after discovering the extent of the damage he asked for help. Larry came and they explained the issues they were facing in a professional manner. They spent the whole day completing the repairs and left us with smoother operating door.

Job 1:They called before they came. the representative was friendly and polite. He also gave me good general maintenance advice to keep the door working properly. We would definitely use them again. Job 2: Service was prompt and the workman was pleasant. It was nice to get the Angie's List discount too!

I'm so relieved to have found excellent workmanship, pleasant professionals, and a reasonable priced repair--all in one company. I'd moved out of state, and was trying to sell my home. They still performed repairs reliably. When a problem arose during the 2nd phase of repairs, they corrected the concern promptly.

The quality of the work was fine, but the technician wasn't very friendly. The price was reasonable and they explained everything up front so there were no surprises.

THEY GAVE THE CHEAPEST ESTIMATE, AND THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND QUICK. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND DIDN'T TRY TO SELL ME ANYTHING I DIDN'T NEED. DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT AL DISCOUNT, HOWEVER.

The service man was knowledgeable and efficient in fixing the problem. The door operates much quieter than before. There was never an attempt to sell a replacement for the existing mechanism, just to repair it. When questioned, he did relate the approximate cost of a replacement, when it finally does die of old age.

REQUESTED EARLY MORNING APPOINTMENT. WE DID NOT CONFIRM TIME OF ARRIVAL BUT ASSUMED 7:30 A.M. WHEN WE MADE APPOINTMENT. CALLED THE NEXT MORNING AND FOUND OUT IT WAS 8:15 WHEN WE ASSUMED 7:30. RESCHEDULED FOR NEXT DAY. TECHNICIAN ARRIVED ON TIME AT 7:30. WHEN TAKING PAYMENT, REMINDED TECHNICIAN OF ANGIE'S DISCOUNT. HE CALLED IN TO GET APPROVAL, AND SAID IT WAS IN THE PRICE. THERE WERE NO BREAKDOWNS OF COST SHOWN ON INVOICE. WE CALLED AND VERIFIED WITH OFFICE LATER, AND FOUND OUT DISCOUNT WAS NOT APPLIED. REP HAD TO TALK TO SOMEONE ELSE WHICH RESULTED IS US GETTING CREDIT. FIXED DOOR, AND IT IS WORKING FINE NOW. IF WE USED THEM AGAIN, WOULD CONFIRM EXACT TIME OF ARRIVAL AND WOULD ASK FOR BREAKDOWN OF COSTS ON INVOICE.

GREAT. THE SPRING BROKE WHILE MY CAR WAS IN GARAGE, SO COULDN'T GET OUT. CALLED AT 1 PM, EXPLAINED I NEEDED TO BE AT WORK THE NEXT DAY. CALLED BACK AND SAID THEY COULD COME AT 3-3:30 PM. WORKED QUICKLY AND DID A GREAT JOB. I AM VERY APPRECIATIVE.

VERY QUICK RESPONSE, AS I WAS NOT ABLE TO GET MY CAR OUT OF THE GARAGE UNTIL MY GARAGE DOOR OPENER WAS FIXED. WE HAVE CALLED MIDWEST GARAGE DOOR SYSTEMS SEVERAL TIMES TO INSTALL OUR 2 OPENERS AND TO FIX THEM TWICE DUE TO LIGHTENING STRIKES. THEY EVEN RECOMMENDED THAT WE INSTALL A SURGE PROTECTOR TO THE OPENERS SO THAT WE WOULDN'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM IN THE FUTURE.

KEVIN, THE SALES GUY WAS VERY NICE, MET ME AT MY PLACE OF BUSINESS AND SHOWED ME SAMPLES. ONLY PLACE I FOUND THAT COULD HAVE A WINDOWED GARAGE DOOR IN 3 DAYS. OTHER OFFERS WERE SIMILAR MONEY, BUT A 3 WEEK WAIT ON WINDOWS. INSTALLER WAS PLEASANT AND DID A GREAT JOB, EXPLAINED HOW TO USE IT, CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

PRICE INCLUDED GARAGE DOOR WITH WINDOWS AND GARAGE DOOR AUTOMATIC OPENER WITH A KEYPAD ENTRY. IT WAS ALSO A MORE EXPENSIVE DOOR BECAUSE IT HAD A HIGH INSULATION RATING. OTHER COMPANY'S PRICES WERE AT LEAST COMPARABLE OR A LITTLE HIGHER.

I WORKED THROUGH KEVIN BARTON AND HE WAS GREAT. THE WORKERS SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID A GOOD JOB WITH THE INSTALLATION. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

I HAD TO CALL THEM AFTER HOURS, AND THEY CAME OUT AND MADE NECESSARY REPAIRS. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THEM TO COME BACK OUT AND PUT IN A NEW DOOR.

I'VE USED THIS COMPANY TWICE FOR ADJUSTMENTS. THE FIRST TIME, MY FRIENDS INSTALLED THE ROLLERS INCORRECTLY. THE SECOND TIME, THE CHAIN NEEDED ADJUSTMENT. THE REPAIRMEN WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND CALLED PRIOR TO ARRIVING. THEY EVEN MENTIONED A COUPON IN THE YELLOW PAGES FOR A $10 SAVINGS! I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS COMPANY TO MANY OF MY FRIENDS.

CALLED MIDWEST GARAGE DOORS AROUND NOON ON A SATURDAY. MIKE ARRIVED WITHIN AN HOUR AND QUICKLY REPLACED THE SPRING. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS AN ODD SIZE, HE HAD A SPARE ON THE TRUCK. WE WILL CALL THEM AGAIN WHEN WE NEED SERVICE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

GOOD WORK, RESPONDED QUICKLY, TOOK SOME TIME TO GET THE WORK DONE

I WAS HAPPY WITH THEM AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND CALLED AHEAD TO LET ME KNOW THEY WERE CLOSE. VERY NICE AND SEEMED FAIRLY PRICED.
