 + -1 moreEverything went well, considering that my house is a Frankenstein. The new Pex lines are soo much better than all the plumbing we took out (which consisted of lead, galvanized, black iron, copper and plastic ~ LOL)... what a mess it was... so much better now. Jeff was very good at communications and he stayed late until the job was done. Also, he was very nice to make a follow-up call too. Highly Recommended 5 Stars ***** Would definitely use his services again.
Description of Work: Jeff responded to the call in record time, same day service. The garbage disposal literally exploded. When Jeff came to replace that, he expertly identified several ticking time bombs in the original plumbing (circa 1942). We ended up re-plumbing most of the house. It really need to be done.

Description of Work: Replaced our water heater; installed a new soft water system and installed a new outdoor water faucet. We had initially asked for an estimate on a new water heater. Jeff Lee came to our home the next day, sat down with us and went through what was available. While he was here we inquired about the cost of installing a water softener and again, he indicated what was available. We decided to take the entire package. | |Jeff was very thorough with the removal of the old water heater and the installation of the plumbing needed for the new water heater, the new softener and the outside faucet. Everything went exceptionally well. | |I will call him again when a plumbing issue arises.

 + -1 moreThe floors were uneven throughout the entire home. He tore out the floor and installed a brand new floor. He did a heck of a job and went above and beyond plumbing work. It took two weeks for the entire job and he did a lot of work. He communicated very well, would ask for our input, and even offered to do food runs for us. He was one of the most helpful people that I've worked with. I got other estimates, but he did the job for half of what the other companies proposed.
Description of Work: He completely redid the plumbing for the entire house. He also tore out an old floor and installed a new floor.

 + 2 moreJeff arrived on time with materials and his assistant, Danny, and they went right to work. They spent about two days at our house and only stopped when they had a question and performed all the work with very high quality and workmanship. The price for materials was high but Jeff makes up for that in very reasonable labor costs. He usually specs commercial grade equipment, so that makes for a higher material cost. But you get what you pay for, as they say. I will definitely be calling Jeff again for future plumbing jobs.
Description of Work: We hired Jeff to install a primary sump pump, backup sump pump with battery backup and a water softener. He also performed various "odd jobs" around the house that were flagged in an inspection.

 + -1 moreJeff definitely exceeded my expectations. He was very honest and even made suggestions that ultimately saved me money in the repairs. He replaced the faucet head without any damage to the stone counter and even helped with an issue on the faucet handle. I had originally asked for just a quote on the bathroom water pressure issue as I was concerned it was going to be costly to fix. He looked at it and had it fixed in a couple of minutes. I highly recommend his services and will definitely use him again in the future.
Description of Work: Troubleshot a leaking kitchen faucet head and low water pressure issue at a basement bathroom sink.

 + -1 moreI would give Jeff an A+ rating. He is a very good worker and he is a good person. He is very neat about his job. He is more than fair and reasonable. His travel charges are about half of what the plumbers in our area charge. He is just a wonderful man. He works hard.
Description of Work: I have been using Mechanical Restorations. I used him when I sold my condo and when I was living in my condo, he replaced toilets for me. He has put in a new hot water heater for me in my old house, and probably about ready to come and put a new hot water heater here in my house now. When he does that, I'm going to have him plumbing to put a water softener in.

His prices are great, and he always insists on doing the job perfectly. He always puts himself out and is sometimes even a little too generous and goes out of his way to make sure we are absolutely satisfied. He will never leave us hanging, and keeps us well informed if another job is running late. He does a great job, and we have been very happy with him.
Description of Work: He has done quite a bit of plumbing work for us, which has included installing a new water softener, putting in two new faucets, and a number of other plumbing projects.
