This is the third or fourth time I have used them over the years. I like them. Their price was a lot less than the other estimates I got. They used a lot of equipment to do the job. It took all day.

Gave an estimate same day called. Came when promised. 4 people removed 3 trees, ground stumps and surface roots, would not know trees were ever there. Were very careful to avoid neighbors yard but neighbor hired them to do some work for them while they were here. Great job and nice people.

Called Long's Tree Service on Friday for an estimate. Norris Long came to the house the same day and gave me an estimate. I had called another tree service requesting an estimate but they had not called back to set up a time to come out and give me an estimate. I checked Angie's List and Long's had a better rating. So when Norris gave me a very reasonable estimate I accepted it. I asked when the work could be scheduled and was told the next day (Sat) about noon. On Saturday, about noon, they showed up with a bucket truck, a chipper towed by another truck and a three person crew (two sons and mom). I was asked how I wanted the trees trimmed and they went to work. All three trees were trimmed to my satisfaction and they cleaned up all the trimmings. Next time I need trees trimmed I will call Long's

It went perfect.....they went from the bottom to the top of the tree...measuring and making accurate cuttings.....no crashing....just a perfect job....ill use them again when the trees need to be trimmed up.....they cleaned up everything and then some.....a GREAT Family Business

LONG'S TREE and LAWN SERVICE Long's Tree and Lawn Service is a who;e family that does the work. They came out , worked hard, and did a good job. Very nice people.

They did a little bit of grinding stumps, but there are still stumps there. When we hired them, they said they would do it. It is one of the reasons why we weren't too happy with them. When they cut down the tree, they took it all. They did the brush and everything. It is just the stumps that are lying there in our yard. We had to get one of our family friends to get rid of that.

I recommended him to my neighbor as well and she cut down a bunch of trees as well. He is a great guy. The last time he was here one of his guys while cutting a tree tore down a gutter. He replaced it and paid for it. He did everything he said. He did a great job.

Called to see if available to pick up firewood for sale. His price was great at 60.00 for a rick and a half. Went to pick up and found the first batch to be fantastic wood. Went back at least another time. He charged me more the n ext time and the wood was a little wetter due to snow. didnt burn as well the next go around. Still overall a good supplier.

They were fine. They showed up when they said they would and did what I wanted them to do. They cleaned up and left. I did not deal much with the workers. Everything worked well, and I have had no complaints with the company. I did not get a bunch of competitive bids, so I don’t really know much about their pricing. The price seemed reasonable based on the work that I had done years ago. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

The estimate I received seemed reasonable. They were friendly and professional.

To be brief, I found a better rate than what this company suggested but I appreciate them coming out.

I called for a quote and they were out that afternoon. They were the cheapest of 2 bids so I called them back the next day to do the work. They were here within a couple of hours and had completed the job.

They arrived when expected, removed two Bradford Pear trees, removed the wood, ground the stumps and cleaned up. We were very pleased with their work.

I have used them before. I call them because they are nice people. Even my parents have used them when I was a kid. The owner remembers the way his father used to talk to my parents, while he and everybody else worked. He said that the first job that his company got was on our road. I can’t comment on their price as I have not shopped around. They clean up the yard and they don’t leave a mess. I will continue to use them.

They were very good. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. There wasn't a leaf or a twig left. I would use them in the future and I have recommended them to my friends. My daughter turned around and called them and they did work for her.

I called Mr. Long the morning of June 15th to make an appointment for an estimate and he was at my house the agreed upon time on the evening of June 15th. He completed the work on June 16th as promised and left the area free of any debris. Would definately use again.

The removal was fast and complete. I will use them again.

This company is excellent. They are prompt in coming to do the work. They clean up everything really well. They smoothed the ground out after they have removed the bushes.

I hired a gutter company to replace the piece of guttering damaged by tree trimmer. I then telephoned Long's Tree Service and indicated what it was going to cost me. Mr. Long came over within a couple of days and gave me the money for the gutter replacement. I have no problem with using Long's Tree Service again. They did a good job for us. It was just unfortunate that the damage was done, but they made good on their word to pay for the damages.

I told Norris which gate I wanted him to use to bring his trucks into my yard. We have all contractors use this gate. I came home around noon to inspect their progress. The vehicles had been brought in through the wrong gate. The fence line at this gate is very close to our pool and the bushes surrounding it. The vehicles were driven over the root beds of the bushes (due to the narrow area) and deep gashes were made in the grass. This is why we don't have contractors use this entrance. I returned home around 5pm and went out back to check Norris' work. There was a large pile of limbs that had been left in the yard. The wood from the two trees was also in a pile and NOT cut into firewood. It was also not stacked at the back of the house like Norris and I agreed on. So, on the weekend of my son's first birthday and baptism, I had to work in 5 hours of cutting, moving, stacking the wood and then cleaning up the limbs and other debris. I believe that Norris failed to live up to what he had agreed to do since I had become upset about the damage to the yard. The wood and limbs were thrown to either end of the yard so that they couldn't be seen from the house since the pool and deck blocked those areas. So, my wife paid him having looked out back and seeing that the yard was "clean". It was only after I went out back that I saw what had actually been done. I would suggest not hiring this company.

For the most part, the job went quickly and efficiently. The crew cleaned up all debris when they were done.

We got two estimates to trim two small trees and remove dead limbs from two larger trees. Mr. Long responded quickly with an estimate and was able to do the job within a few days at a reasonable price. The crew was punctual, worked quickly, and was careful about cleaning up. Mr. Long made sure that we were satisfied with the work done before they left. I would use this company again.

No problems, received estimate, but decided to go with another company.

Everything went fine. They cleaned up; blew off the patio and furniture and raked over the area where trees were removed, and hauled everything away. I marked a B for price not to single out Long's individually, but the fact that I think most companies' charges are a little too high for a job that takes them about a half hour or so to accomplish, including both trees. Their estimate was about the same as another one we got from The List.
