Chris and team were really good to work with. They made sure to complete the job to my satisfaction and in fact came out a couple of times towards the end of the project to remedy specific issues I had with the finished project. Overall, the project took a little longer than I had really hoped for, but it was over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays so it's understandable that it took a little longer than usual. The finished product looks amazing and I'm extremely happy with the work that was completed.

Super Contractor to work with. Workmanship is excellent! Owner would call or be there everyday to see how the job is progressing. Any type of work I would need done in the future I would definitely contact in them. Very Happy with the job they did.

I liked him a lot but he was way too expensive for what I wanted to do. He was still very nice and very informative. He would be good for a bigger job than what I had to do. I don't know if he thought I had an unlimited budget or what. What he wanted to do was more than what I wanted to do, like he wanted to replace the cabinets but I was just going to have them painted. And even after I told him it was more than I wanted to spend he had some suggestions, but it was still more than I wanted to spend.

Very good. Chris is excellent at staying in touch. All employees were professional and easy to work with. There was a pesky small leak in the shower door track that Chris was vigilant about fixing, even after the project was complete.

We had a great experience. Chris and his team did an awesome job. Eric is a perfectionist, and we appreciate every nuance of the remodel. They removed 2 walls and ran new HVAC to the 2nd floor. They installed all new hardwood flooring throughout the entire first floor, kitchen cabinets, countertops, backsplash and redesigned our kitchen. The end result is amazing, and we'll probably hire them again for our basement in a couple months.

It was fine except I wanted outlets in the island and did not get them. These were a major component for me so I am constantly aware that I did not get them.

The job was done on time, everything was kept clean, and the workers were friendly and punctual.

Awesome! Chris and his team were fantastic! Chris had great vision by taking our inputs and turning out bathroom into a true spa! The custom design of our tiled shower with a custom angled valve wall and finishing touches was great! Everyone of his guys were professional and considerate and did a great job! I asked him to repainted, change out electrical in our Master Bedroom as an add on and he was very supportive in getting it done! My Den is awesome, custom marble top desk, with built in unit in my closet and completely new electrical and lighting! Awesome! I'm going to have them do my next 2 projects in the Spring!

Chris Johnson and his team of highly skilled and professional craftsmen were a joy to work with. This General Contractor provided vision for a finished product which far surpassed anything we could have imagined. They provided impeccable attention to detail. All were punctual, detail driven and personable craftsmen. We would not hesitate to hire Johnson & Johnson again and again.

Not well. Rain caused major delays of course not their fault, but knowing I needed access to my backyard maybe it should have been delayed. Rubble from tearout was there for almost 2 weeks. My dog got caught up in it with wires sticking out everywhere. "I" had to build and fence as best I could with what I had to prevent the dogs accessing the rubble. I had just had surgery so this was not an easy thing to do. I was told "you could be charged extra for tearout because of how long it took due rebar being under the old patio....". Who doesn't know that a patio installed before 2000 most likely will have rebar, if it was installed correctly? They left trash and debris and my fence was falling over- which was supposed to be put back like it was prior. No final check to ensure everything was done and done correctly. Just not a good experience all the way around. Price was ok and it looks nice. I am anxious to see how it holds up. They were very prompt and on top of it when it came to getting paid but not so much during the project.

The fireplace project went really well! We are so pleased with the way it turned out. The fireplace went from a tiny space on a huge wall to an amazing focal point of our home and it looks like it was meant to be there all along! Chris brought in his expert team for each step of the process... framing, skilled trim work, painters, electricians, and more. We couldn't be happier with the project and level of professionalism from everyone involved with the project.

It went GREAT! Chris saw my vision and also brought ideas to the table that I had not thought about. We ended up completely redoing our kitchen, master bath, changing all oak molding to white, a floor to ceiling fireplace and an additional bedroom in the basement. We also replaced all flooring on the 2nd floor and added flooring in the basement. The finish product is absolutely gorgeous! We get compliments all the time. The previous owners cannot even believe this is the same house. Chris and his team were fantastic. Not only were they reliable and reasonably priced they were all so friendly. Chris is our go to person for anything we are thinking about doing to our house and the person we refer others to. We really trust him. Thank you, Chris!!

Chris Johnson and his selected crews did an outstanding job of designing the new master bedroom and bath, demo of existing space, and remodeling according to agreed upon plans. Chris has an excellent sense for design ideas and use of quality materials. Both Chris and his construction chief Eric oversee every aspect of the project ensuring quality in every way, even if it means redoing something because it does not match their expectations. They hold their subcontractors to a very high standard. We were able to make adjustments along the way and he fairly added or subtracted from the original quote. Not once did I sense any short cuts or less than expected quality materials. Plumber, electrician, drywall, painters and tile men were all very professional and worked as an effective team. They arrived as a team for the initial deconstruction of the existing space and then worked as specialty units in the rebuild stage. While the project was not inexpensive, what we received was very much worth the price. Chris is a good communicator and was able to take our 40,000 foot concept down to ground level. He has a keen eye for quality and style, but never lost touch with our existing construction such that the end result blended nicely without the appearance of a mere remodel or addition. Not one time did I feel the need to look over their shoulder as they demonstrated that they had our interests up front. I will clearly be working with them on future projects that we have ahead.

Chris Johnson came to our house in February and listened carefully to our ideas for a major kitchen remodel. He added some ideas of his own and then went home to work on some drawings. We went back and forth a few times fine turning the final plan. Chris added some design details that we were really excited about because they offered a better use of our space. Once Chris quoted the job we quickly hired him. We found the price to be very fair for the work he would be doing. Over the course of six weeks, Chris and his crew worked tirelessly to give us our dream kitchen. It is not easy to have workmen in your torn up, very dusty house for an extended period of time, but Chris did everything he could to make this as easy on us as possible. Over the duration of this job, he always answered phone calls and emails in a timely manner. When we ran into small problems, he was quick to make sure we understood what was happening and how these issues would be resolved. He and his workmen were professional at all time and the quality of their work is outstanding. Our kitchen is more beautiful than we ever hoped. Every day since Johnson and Johnson Renovating finished the job, I walk into my kitchen and feel the same joy at how beautiful it is. Friends and family cannot believe the transformation and comment all the time that it looks like an "after" on one of the HGTV shows. We absolutely will hire Chris again if we do any future remodeling. The one addition I would request is for a google doc spreadsheet to keep track of all the information that goes back and forth during a job of this size. Email was not always effective for keeping track of the many style decisions that were required, and I think keeping that information in one easy to reach place would be easier for both Chris and his customer.

Since I have had some bad contractor experiences, deciding to completely remodel the bathroom was very stressful to say the least. I received 5 different quotes from reputable companies and after reading the previous reviews, receiving a quote in timely manner and the professional way Chris handled himself, I decided that Johnson & Johnson would be the best choice. There's no doubt I made the best decision all around - quality, fair pricing, and a crew that was conscientious of keeping the area as clean as possible. My home is old (1915) and with that comes some challenges - the floor wasn't level and the walls are plaster. I had no shower and only a claw foot tub, build in drawers that weren't working so well. All of this was removed and a new shower/tub combination, linen cabinet, built in niche, vanity and level floors installed! It is an absolute beautiful and well functioning bathroom! They all really care about what they do - that's what makes the difference and it is obvious in the quality of work. The last week of final touches of the bathroom, I asked them to replace all the water supply lines in the house - again this old house syndrome 1915 galvanized pipe. I have used a few plumbers in the past but now I know who I will contact if I need one. Doug did such a great job, kept everything clean as possible and now I don't need to worry 'if' a pipe will fail. Now, for bathroom #2! I attached the best before picture I have and after photos. FYI - The mirror over the vanity is an old mirror I had. I procrastinated on that decision but it will be replaced with a new appropriate size mirror.

The project was was handled professionally from the beginning. Chris Johnson answered my call and came to our house to give an estimate in a timely fashion. He offered his ideas and provided a written estimate. As this was our only shower it was imperative to get the new shower installed ASAP. We set up a time to get started and he had a crew there that morning and they removed everything from the bathroom ?down to the water damaged flooring. By that afternoon the floor was repaired and the new shower stall and closet were framed up and some of the new plumbing installed. Over the next few days the project progressed quickly. Eric is a skilled craftsman that has awesome talent for installing the shower tiles. We were taking a shower in our beautiful new tiled shower as quick as they could get the work completed for us. The rest of the bathroom is custom built with a country barn type theme that matches the shower perfectly. We are totally happy with our new bathroom and the workmanship of the entire Johnson and Johnson crew. Most Excellent experience and results. Project ran over a bit, but with as much detail required by the tile work this was not a problem. All crew & subs were courteous and diligent, as well as conscientious of the vision we planned out. Chris was always present and when he couldn't be there, Eric made sure the project details were being met. I'd highly recommend J & J for your project needs!

The experience was EXCELLENT. Your vision fit in with our vision and we worked well together. I am really grateful because I hear horror stories of working with contractors and we didn?t have any. We have already recommended you to our neighbor and will tell anyone who asks what a positive experience it was. The kitchen is both beautiful and functional.

Mr. Johnson provided us with experienced workers to get this job done. Replacing the drywall tape was very detailed and messy. Every step was taken to cover the hardwood and baseboards to prepare it for scaffolding. Ceiling height has a 25' peak. . I have no complaints during this phase of the project. The final phase was repainting all the textured and non textured walls. The painters did a fantastic job. Again, precautions were taken to cover stairways, baseboards , and any existing furniture. The job was completed in 2 weeks. I have no complaints. The subs were a joy to work with. The project manager checked in on a regular basis to make sure all was well with us. I would definitely recommend this company for any of your projects. If any other new issues occur, we will call them.

Our main bathroom was in dire need of functional and cosmetic repairs. The entire bathroom was gutted down to the framing studs. Chris installed a new tub, toilet, sink and vanity. He installed subway tile to the ceiling around the tub and a wainscot around the rest of the room. He also installed a new floor, fixtures, and ceiling.

We have a forty year old house that had never been updated. After getting several quotes to remodel our master bath, we went with Chris Johnson of Johnson & Johnson Renovating and Remodeling. Chris and his crew demolished the shower area down to the wall studs, built a new enlarged walk-in shower, removed and replaced the vanity and fixtures, installed a new floor and toilet, tiled the walls, upgraded the lighting, and redid the master closet. He also added a heated floor. During the renovation, Chris stayed in touch with us on a daily basis and frequently came by the house to check on progress. He ensured all the subcontractor work met with his high expectations as well as his own. We plan on using him for future work.

After Chris Johnson remolded our bathroom. we wanted the hallway doors to match the new one. He replaced five forty year old hollow doors with new six panel solid core doors, improved the hallway lighting, removed and replaced the trim and baseboard, and painted. Our dark dingy hallway is now beautifully well lit. Best of all, the ugly hated bedroom doors are gone and the new doors really block the sound.

It went very well. Chris met me at Home Depot and helped me pick out the materials(mostly tiles) to be used. He and all of the people who worked for him are very professional and respectful. They do what they say they are going to do and they are always on time and cooperative.
