They were unresponsive.

They never called back.

We contacted Ryan (on June 21) via the e-mail listed (jacksonconcrete@insightbb.com) and voice mail (on June 27) and never received a return e-mail or return phone call regarding our request to have him come out for an estimate. While I can understand if they are busy, it would have been nice to have at least heard back.

I could not be happier! Ryan Fowler is a true professional and a joy to work with. Ryan took the time to drive me around to see actual jobs that he had completed, and then took the time to understand what I was looking for in a pool deck/patio. His crew was hard working and professional as well. He had to coordinate things with my pool builder, and was always on top of things and very flexible because of unforeseen weather related delays. The stamped concrete is beautiful!!! The pool builder was even impressed with his work.

He was supposed to pour a 12 by 24 concrete patio at the back of my home. In our discussion he said that he would use a gravel base as well as rhea bar to reinforce. He called me the day after we signed a bid contract and said his crew was available and wanted to start the job. I came home early from work to check the progress. The concrete truck had just arrived. I noticed that they were going to pour concrete on bare sandy soil. I immediatly stopped his crew as that is not what we had agreed upon. I called Ryan and he apologized and said he was embarrased and what had happened and that I could go forward as is at cost or we could do the job as discussed originally. I told him I did not want concrete on bare sandy soil. His crew started digging to place the gravel down then took a break. About an hour later they came back to get there material and packed up. I asked if they were going to finish the job and they said contact the owner who will not return my phone call.

Fantastic. Ryan and his crew were punctual, polite, hardworking, dedicated and perfectionists. They made good suggestions on where to increase the size of the driveway and how to make it flow with the house, and were patient with explanations when I had difficulty visualizing the suggestions. They met all self-imposed time lines, working hard to get the drive done in time for use once the garage is built. Ryan even helped us make our prints in a movable 2x2 walking stone, and assisted in getting 5 cat paw prints and 1 dog's print into the walking stone cement, not an easy job with the cats. I highly recommend Jackson Concrete and will use them again if I ever need concrete work.

Yet to be seen.

It's not a huge space that he had to do, but his price was great. He did the front patio and knocked out the old concrete one for me. The back and front look really good, and I am happy with the result.

Ryan brought albums of his work, wrote a contract, and stuck to it. He helped us choose a color, pattern and style to compliment our home. We were plagued with rain throughout, yet the damage to our yard was nearly nonexistent. They cleaned everything up at the conclusion of the job. This is not a 9:00 to 5:00 crew; they work hard! Again, we were plagued with rain, but they worked at every opportunity the weather permitted, sometimes until dark. Because Ryan does work with his crew, in order to reach him, you may have to leave a voice mail, but he does return calls at his first opportunity. Ryan is very professional and courteous, as is his crew. It was a pleasant change to see such a strong work ethic. I just can't say enough about how pleased we were with Ryan and his crew, as well as, the beautiful work they did.

He was on time and very nice. He was the only one who brought an album that shows all of his work. He was very down to earth and provided an estimate on the spot which was the lowest of 3 other companies. I have hired him for the job and will submit a report after the work is done.

HE WAS EXTREMELY TRUSTWORTHY, HONEST, CAREFUL TO NOT DAMAGE SURROUNDING LANDSCAPING, ETC. HE WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING TO OUR SPECIAL NEEDS FOR THE SIDEWALK. HIS WORK ETHIC WAS SUPERB AND HE KEPT US WELL INFORMED. VERY PROFESSIONAL, WHICH I WAS NOT EXACTLY EXPECTING. HE WAS ABOUT 50% LESS EXPENSIVE THAN THE OTHER BID.
