Indiana Pavement M & C

I got what I believed to be a fair estimate from Joe to patch and put one coat of sealer. I signed a contract that day for the work but he didn't he didn't have a copy to give me. Joe finally came out and scraped up the bottom of the driveway and applied the patch. They left everything they scraped up sitting at the end of my driveway. I got a call the next day saying they finished and needed payment. I told them I wanted this hauled away at the bottom and they had yet to apply the seal, they said the deal was for the patch and they were throwing one coat seal in for free. I told them the work wasn't complete and they needed to finish the job. They accused me now at this point of not paying and threatened me with a lawyer. They attacked me verbally with profanities and were very unprofessional. I told them to send me a copy of the contract and if that's what it said I would pay. It didn't and I told them to complete the work and they would get a check. Horrible experience.

Signed contract early May. When rocks were delivered for grade we had to pay $300 cash because owner Joe had no money. Over the next 5-6 weeks we heard numerous excuses as to why they never came to finish, but were told we were next on the list. It did rain a bit, but there were also many nice days and our ground was quite hard and dry. We tried telling them this, but they wouldn't listen. Finally we offered to pay $150 for work done to be released from our contract. They wanted $400, which we felt was too much, so we kept trying to get them to finish. In the end they refused to finish and we were tired of dealing with them, so we paid the $400 to be released. Turned out that is was a good thing they didn't finish because the company that finished the job said Indiana Pavement was going to put the asphalt on too thin and it would have cracked in the winter. Also, the office person was very rude to us.

WONDERFUL COMPANY. SAVED THE DAY WHEN ANOTHER COMPANY DIDNT SHOW UP. I HAVE THIS DONE EVERY YEAR. THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST JOB EVER.

WITHIN THE LAST WEEK WE NOTICED THE FLAKING AND PEELING. WE TRIED TO CONTACT THE COMPANY BY 2 PHONE NUMBERS LISTED ON THEIR RECORD. I DID NOT RECEIVE AN ANSWER OR AN ANSWERING MACHINE. HAVE CALLED THEM IN AM AND IN PM, BUT NO ANSWER AND NO OPPORTUNITY TO LEAVE A MESSAGE.
