They showed up when scheduled, did an excellent quality job, and cleaned up not only from their own work, but also cleaned up the mess that another contractor left behind. They brought my roof up to current standards with better quality shingles, ice/water dam, etc. They inspected everything underneath and reported what they found. They fixed the chimney issues without a second thought. I'm completely satisfied and happy with the job they did.

They were the best bid. They came out and checked out our roof and let us know we did need a new one. They did say we could probably get a couple of more years out of it and they let us know they recommended we go ahead and put a new one on. I asked them to give me a quote for the most cost effective roof they could put on the house so they did. They also pointed out that the siding had been put in over soffits and the ventilation had not been installed correctly. They said that they would correct that when they put on the roof at no additional charge. They came out and showed me the shingles I could chose from. They knew I wanted to get it done soon so they gave me a couple of times and let me know it would depend on the weather. It took a couple of days for tearing off the existing roof and then they had a slight delay because of the rain. Our roof looks great.

They took entirely too long, and they never would come and finish the job until I got mad. They left a dumpster in my driveway for two weeks, ruined the grass in my front yard, and didn't complete the job until I sent pictures to show them what they had missed, and then I payed them.

It was satisfactory and I'm thinking about hiring the again to replace my roof.

Spoke with the owner's wife, and her husband was to come out the next week to look at our roof and give us an estimate. She was very nice and helpful on the phone. After two weeks of no one showing up, I called, left a message on their answering machine, waited two more days, and called again, but no one would answer all day. Called the third day and spoke with someone. She said Denise was at lunch and took my message stating Denise would call me. Over a month has past now and no one has bothered to return our phone calls or provide an estimate. Hofmeister Roofing was referred to us by another Angie's List roofing company, so we were especially disappointed.

This company was recommended by my real estate agent, who has used them several times. They took some time scheduling the job because of bad weather and storm damage, but were punctual when they did schedule. Denise kept me updated on their progress up to that time. They did the job efficiently and did quality work. It was a pleasure to be able to talk to all of the workers. Tom Hofmeister was on the job site throughout the job. I would hire them again.
