Greenwood Restoration

I needed a deck built to support a hot tub being installed in a couple of weeks. Ken contacted me immediately to understand our need, provided a quote and started the work immediately. The deck is completed, looks great and now we are just awaiting delivery of the hot tub. I will definitely hire Ken for multiple projects on our list of home improvements!

Ken was on time and efficient. He painted my kitchen cabinets and they look great! I would definitely use him again.

Cabinet he had to work with wasn't in great shape but he fixed it and painted . Lots of.glass to paint around. He was a nice guy and worked quickly. I was satisfied. He definitely has painting skills.

Ken did a great job, even gave me an educator discount! He power-washed the deck, replaced damaged boards then stained it for a great price

Mr. Gregory repaired my sagging gate, replaced a rotten board, and cleaned and stained my cedar fence. Not only did he exhibit expert workmanship, he also was respectful of the plants growing along my fence. He did not step on or overspray a single leaf. My fence is beautiful again.

Caulked and painted exterior trim and cedar siding. It looks great!

I asked him to paint my deck and exterior. They were in not good shape, had peeled paint here and there. He fixed everything and painted beautifully. He is very friendly, responded quickly for any questions. I was very pleased with his job.

We pulled wall paper off the kitchen and dining room walls which left the drywall very uneven. We tried to get it smooth ourselves but could not. Ken scheduled us in ASAP and smoothed the walls as well as painted all in one day! Very pleased with the quick service and quality of work,

Ken replaced the old wood and screens on my back porch. He stained all of the new wood and installed it. He also re-screened the porch. He also painted the garage door.

Based on Ken's other reviews, we selected him for our drywall project even thought he didn't come in with the lowest bid. He was quick to respond and provide me a quote. He did show up when he said he would, but our issues came into play when the work was finished. Ken used the paint I wanted for our top coat as a primer coat, without confirming with me what I would like since he deemed that the best option, which left me with $20 in primer; paint that I didn't want to use for the finished coat. He left several (20-30) easily spottable areas where the texture wasn't completely covered. When I called to ask him to come back out, he obliged but still left many unsatisfactory places. In addition, there are still countless patches of rough, thick drywall that will need more than a light sanding; as he promised. My last issue with Ken was with his cleanliness, which was an important factor in his reviews that led us to hire him. As a restoration company, I expected a lot more. I understood there would be drywall dust that would take several cleanings to remove, but what I do not understand are the large chunks of drywall mud caking my hardwood floors and stairs. Now I will spent the weekend chipping these off and cleaning up after him. Even my bedroom doors have drywall mud on them, in the shape of his handprint, where he moved the door to access areas behind it. There is drywall mud on the bedspread of our guest bed AND on the guest bed frame, despite the fact that Ken said he would cover everything with plastic for us. When I called Ken to discuss my disappointment, he immediately went on the defense and threatened to sue me if I didn't pay him the next day. He accused me of trying to be cheap and not pay him for his work, and that I should "expect 95%, not 100%.He ended the conversation by again threatening to sue me and calling me a liar. i'm thoroughly disappointed by the way Ken treated me, his inability to accept constructive criticism and come to a resolution with me, and his;workthat we will now spend hours finishing up.
