Excellent design by professional landscape designer that was build in a timely manner. Our family plans to enjoy the new paver patio and fire pit for years to come!

Great! He was so busy, it took 3-4 weeks before he could start our yard...but it was worth the wait! Took 2 days to complete work... very happy with the results!

Their work crew seems to be a little inexperienced. They really did not put enough mulch down. They are going to be coming back and redoing that.

They did a great job. I continued to use them (for) Spring and Fall trimming, mulching and bed cleanup and all that for about three years. They did a great job. Their work was great. Sometimes communication was not as good. Their guys were great, courteous and everything. Sometimes it would be hard to get a phone call back initially, but then once we got the ball rolling it went great. I did continue to use them. The other cool thing that they do is they will come and hang Christmas tree lights on your house at the beginning of December. Then they will pull them down right after New Years and store them for you. Then they will come back and do it the next year. I thought that was really, really cool. Their price was a little on the high side, but they weren't horrible. They demand quality. Once I would get hold of them they were there when they said they would be.

I really liked their design and its beautiful now that its finished. They clean up well when they were finished. They were not very good at letting me know the timeline. I had to keep calling/emailing to find out when they were coming out. It kept moving because of weather (which I understand) but they didn't keep me updated. The only update notice on I got from them without asking was a call on the day they started construction.

It went fine considering that we had a terribly wet month and the retaining wall was being built along a drainage ditch. The patio was completed in just two days and looks great. Just the right size for my small house and back yard. They started on the retaining wall and then the rain came and hampered progress. They even went to the extra step of pumping the water from the ditch so the base could be laid I'm very happy with the retaining wall design and that I now have a level area along my entire back yard. The crew working was very professional and kept me informed. They cleaned up the area and street every evening. It took almost the whole month of June to complete the patio, wall and yard grading but that was not due to any fault of Greenleaf Landscaping . They were prompt to return to complete the final grading and seeding of the yard as soon as it was dry enough to bring in their equipment without tearing up the rest of my lawn. Would use them again. Felt the cost was more than fair for the work done.

The job went very well. After several days and all the rain, the dirt around the trees had settled and a tree had shifted. I placed a call to Kent. He responded the next day and had his workers at my home that afternoon to take care of the problem and to do some addition work I requested. The initial estimate took some time to get, but, I was told up front since it was a busy time for them. At the time of the estimate I was told it would be a few weeks before they could do the job. Their estimate was much lower that the other 3 estimates so I was glad I waited. They came and did the job just when they told me they would. The landscaping they did looks great. Kent was very nice to work with as well as his workers. I would definitely use Greenleaf landscaping, inc. again .

It was good. We used them before at another house so we went back with them. They had good service and they are locally owned. They were responsive. For the landscaping that they provided for, they gave us options and it just works nice when they finished. They are probably a little bit expensive but they are worth it, and I get a good product.

We contacted Greenleaf several months prior to when we anticipated starting the project. Mark, the designer, met with us at our house and proved a tentative design a couple of weeks later. We were having a sunroom added on the back of the house to replace the existing wood deck and wanted a hardscape patio area added on after that work was done. We have 5 dogs so we wanted a significant area paved because we could not keep maintain a decent grassed yard with the dogs. He had to create a design that was pet-friendly and low-maintenance. After the sunroom was done, he came back out and realized that he needed to revise his plans based on the elevation, etc. A large retaining wall needed to be constructed and he was always very cognizant of the easements and property lines. We ended up having the property re-surveyed and staked which ended up being very helpful once the work started because they used every inch possible for the patio. On a project of this size there are a lot of options and questions and Mark was always very prompt in responding, helpful in his advice, talking through options and patient with our questions. We met at a local supplier they use and selected the pavers. His recommendations were not my first choice in looking at the magazines and we trusted his opinions since he had the experience and could visualize the finished project. We are very happy that we did because the colors accentuate the beautiful patio and play well with the brick of the house. The job was scheduled and work was started on that date. Most of the work was completed by 2 employees from start to finish. We liked that they kept the same people on-site and these men take pride in their work and pay attention to details. There were times when the planned design could be or needed to be modified once the work started and they always asked us about how we wanted it to be and made recommendations. Our paver/sandstone seating area is a beautiful custom creation with arm rests. They worked with us by installing supports for a Trex fence section that we planned to install later. The owner and designer stopped by frequently to check on the job. The job took about 7 weeks and they were on the job every day. After the hardscaping was completed, they had a crew for plantings. The designer had chosen all low-maintenance trees and shrubs that would provide various colors throughout the seasons and kept in mind the eventual mature height. They made sure the job was completed to high standards and came back for yard repair, clean-up and re-worked areas that they were not completely satisfied with. We are so happy we used Greenleaf for this job and to support local businesses in the process. We now have a backyard that can be used year round with a gorgeous custom, quality patio area that minimized some grassed area - and the dogs love it as they spend most of their time on the paved area! It has cut down on the dirt and mess we have to deal with as well as yardwork.

Landscaping is a hard job. Landscaping in our environment is even harder... and these guys managed and handled everything that was thrown their way. Mark Tippmann worked with us to design a project that not only met our goals it exceeded them. We allowed him to have lots of input because we wanted it to be a true work of art with creative solutions. He was excellent in getting us within the budget we were comfortable with. Each one of the stones are unique, and as they put the stones into place, the considered that. Walking up the stairs you will spot a beautiful stone with red running through it... they could have easily just placed it any way, but they would turn each one so that their best side was showing. That is the detail that puts their work above others. They cuts that they made to the stones on the fire pit to assure that the top fit just perfectly was darn cool. The job took several weeks and all the booming, thumping, grinding, dust and mud... were worth it. Please note that I gave them a and quot;band quot; for price because I know that there are others that could have come in at a lower price. But we were not entirely focused on the and quot;best priceand quot; type of work, we wanted and quot;best qualityand quot; and that is sometimes not the bargain price.

Went well. They did the work in 2 parts - yard work one day and patio seating wall on a second day later in the week.

I scheduled three trimmings at the beginning of the year. The third trimming has not been performed. I left a voicemail on Kent Fisher's voicemail and have not gotten any responses. I call his cell and it says his voicemail is full. I had trouble getting an estimate from him earlier in the year. I am not satisfied with the responsiveness of this provider.

I contacted Greenleaf landscaping and talked with David Heckler to provide the specific items I was interested in having done as a part of spring clean up for my front and side yards. He was very professional when I spoke with him and said he would be by in a day or two to see my property and write up an estimate. After a week when by and no estimate was provided, I called back to inquire about the status. Dave apologized that I had to call back and came out the next day and left an estimate. A few days later, I called Dave again to ask for some more information on the estimate. I was given a total price for mulching the existing beds, which I thought was a little high based on how much mulch I've used in the past. There was no quantity of mulch listed on the estimate, so I asked Dave if he could provide that information. He said that he didn't have the paperwork in front of him, but would get back to me. Almost a week has gone by, and I've not received a return call with the information I requested. It is unfortunate, because this company has a good reputation, and I was using this project as a 'test' for a much larger landscaping project I would like to have done. I just don't think the customer should have to work so hard to give someone your business!

Greenleaf does a great job. I do think it is worth the cost, but it is costly.

I didn't particularly like anything about them. They weren't punctual, they weren't on time, the job was lousy. They had to come out and reset a number of the trees that they installed because they were crooked. They didn't complete the mulching as depicted in the price and had to come out and do that. And then I waited six months for another plant that was supposed to be installed at the same time. It took several phone calls to get them out.

We've used Greenleaf for all our landscaping needs over the years and at multiple homes. We have found their service to be excellent, professionalism outstanding and quality very good. During the busiest times of the year, it can be a challenge to get Greenleaf to return calls. We understand their seasonal lapse in responsiveness to a degree. However, this lack of common courtesy has left us feeling like an unimportant and quot;small fishand quot; - despite our historical loyalty to this company. Our most recent experience with Greenleaf was consistent with our prior experiences with one exception: the quality of planting material used was a couple notches below the Greenleaf standard we have previously experienced and come to expect from this wonderful company. Since Greenleaf is not a low-cost provider of landscape services, the decrease in plant material quality was very disappointing to us because (a) we had never experienced this before from this company, (b) we have sole-sourced all our landscaping needs to them over the past 20 years and (c) it resulted in a decrease in the overall value we received - which has been our primary justification for their higher pricing. Mark Tucker has been our principal contact at the company. He has created all of our landscape designs, has great ideas and is a wonderful professional with whom to work. Once the details of the project and contract were finalized, the Greenleaf team was prompt and performed the work well. We've since had a couple of the plant material items die and Greenleaf has historically been excellent about honoring their warranty - free replacement - within one year of planting. We hope the same will be true with these items. We currently have a pergola project that we will be bidding this spring. We will definitely include Greenleaf in our selection process and hope to be able to continue our long-standing relationship with them. In the past, we would have ONLY considered Greenleaf. However, because of our most recent experience, their exclusive position with us has been jeopardized.

This was our second time using Greenleaf Landscaping. We were very pleased with the service provided and work done last summer for retaining walls in our backyard, so we didn't hesitate to go back to Mark Tippmann with Greenleaf for retaining walls for our front yard. He listened to our ideas, came up with a plan, listened to our feedback, and tweaked his design. As soon as the weather allowed, Greenleaf was out front, building our retaining walls. Mark had great ideas we would never have thought of, including using boulders to provide a semi-retaining wall to mitigate the height change between the two major walls. The crew also installed flagstone steps and a path between the landscaping in front of our house and the new retaining walls and connected the new path to the existing flagstone path on the side of our house. Mark and the installation crew (who were respectful, professional, and listened to our feedback) transformed a muddy hill that was progressively washing away into a beautiful space. The flagstone path and the boulders make the attractive, yet economical, block we used look more natural. Mark worked with an existing retaining wall we had and beautified the area around it to tie it in nicely with our new installation. Rodney, one of the installers, came back the Saturday after they finished the job to power wash our driveway, put down more grass seed, and, when I told him I thought some of the flagstone pieces were too far apart in one section of the path, he instantly got to work re-working that section (and ultimately ran out and got some larger pieces, which made all the difference). I'm very pleased with our new front yard. It turned out better than I imagined. It is not only beautiful, but functional. The service and responsiveness from Greenleaf was top knotch, and everyone communicated well and showed up on time. They are also immaculate workers. They clean up after themselves and, with the exception of killing some grass, they leave things better than they found them. I would recommend Greenleaf to anyone who is looking for great service, beautiful design, meticulous installation, and fair pricing. We couldn't be happier!

It's a very good experience. They were very professional. Everything went according to plan and no problems whatsoever.

I requested a free estimate on some major landscape/hardscape projects for our backyard in March. Dave came out to discuss the projects and take some measurements on March 28. He stated that he would have a design along with price ranges sent to me early the following week. However, a week later I still did not have them. When I contacted him, he stated he would have them to me the next day. Again, this did not happen. Another week later I contacted him. This time I received an apology and some vague price ranges with no details or drawing and a major part of this project was completely left out. I sent a follow up email to Dave that same day and have never received any further communication from him. I will clearly be finding another company to handle this project!

It was a great experience from beginning to end. They were not the low-cost bidder. We chose them because of the professionalism of the staff who guided us through the process of planning and plant selection.
