Description of Work: They insulated the garage, wall and crawl space. They are wonderful people! It took a while to get in touch with them but once we did, they were great! Paul went above and beyond for us! I couldn't say enough good thing about them!

Description of Work: It took this contractor a week to get back to us regarding our wishes for an estimate on drywalling our basement By the time he did call back, we had alread hired another contractor. We realize our request to him came before a holiday weekend, which probably delayed his response.

Description of Work: Mr. Gibbons came to give an estimate on a Saturday. He took my husband through the house to point out what wasn't insulated properly and how he would fix it. He was VERY thorough, VERY polite and VERY professional! We were so impressed. He gave us an approximate date and then called to confirm it. He and his crew, who were all as pleasant and professional, showed up on time and worked two entire days to complete the project. They cleaned up after themselves as they went. We are very pleased with the results and recommend that anyone use their services-you will not be disappointed!

 + -1 moreHe insulated the house, garage, and back porch. It took him about a day, and he did what he said he would do and more. He even called me back later to check and see how I was doing. He caulked around a hole in the bathroom where the insulation was blowing out. He also blew that foam stuff to eliminate any air pockets. My bill is showing the difference from last year. At least half of what I paid last year. I recommend him. They were tidy.
Description of Work: You can't believe how much money I saved with this company. He insulated my house.

 + -1 moreJob went well. I was pleased with their professionalism and how they cleaned up everything. We are extremely pleased with the result. We live in the country and used propane for heat. I expect the we will be able to get away with having the tank refilled far less often. Since we had the insulation put in a month ago, our furnace has only kicked on a few times, though it had been down in the 40s quite often. The house is a lot less drafty and keeping the thermostat at 68 is actually comfortable .
Description of Work: We had extensive work done in our crawl space and attic. They installed a moisture barrier in the crawl space, removed some old insulation, added spray insulation in some areas, and cleaned up debris that was already down there. In the attic, they added 8" of cellulose insulation to make 12" total. They had to pull back my old insulation around the edge of the attic to solve a problem and make sure it got in the space uniformly. They also added vents to the existing vents and wrapped recessed lights in metal.

 + -1 moreWe were doing a total remodel to a 50 some year old home. I had called 7 different companies for attic insulation. Some never returned my call, no longer did insulation, on vacation, etc. I called Gibbons Insulation, and Paul returned my call the same day. We set up a time for the next day. He came out told me what the house needed, wrote me a quote, and did the work the next morning!
Description of Work: We had 8 inches of insulation added to the attic, 2 bathroom vents vented to the outside, and things put in to keep the insulation away from the soffit vents.

Description of Work: Cleared out debris in crawl space. Fixed vapor barrier. Installed 2" rigid foam insulation on inside walls of crawl space. Installed batt insulation in space between walls and floor.

Description of Work: Added insulation in a new two story 20' x 30 ' Gambrel barn type garage. R-34 blown in insulation for ceiling. Put in R-13 fiberglas on upstairs walls and in walls between the first and second story. Caulked gaps in construction and around windows. Installed 9 vents in eaves.

THOUGH HE COULDN'T HELP US, HE GAVE US THE NAMES OF FOUR COMPANIES, THEIR PHONE NUMBERS, AND TOLD ME TO CALL BACK IF I HAD ANY MORE INSULATION QUESTIONS.
