FITNESS ONE

FITNESS ONE is one of three local, recommended repair services by Sole Fitness. After doing some research and reading reviews, I decided to call Fitness One, and I was very pleased with the quality service. Paul services equipment at both business and residences and has broad experience and knowledge regarding many different fitness equipment companies and machines. Paul is courteous, communicates well, and is responsive. He schedule a service appointment and arrived on time. He diagnosed the issues with our treadmill, which required ordering parts, and answered all of my questions. Paul ordered parts and returned to fix the machine during a second appointment. His work is detailed, thorough, and timely. I highly recommend Fitness One and would definitely call for future exercise equipment repair and/or other needs.

Paul, the owner, is an outstanding professional. He is punctual, extraordinarily knowledgable about machines, polite to answer questions, and does repairs in rapid order. He always exceeds our expectations when it comes to our treadmill repair. His "flat-rate" charges are equitable with competitors. His results have been perfect to date, and he always seems willing to do the extras that others might miss. An excellent person and professional that we recommend without hesitation. A++

Started out well, they were responsive, price quote seemed fair and they set up apt with me. Had the afternoon set aside for them and all equipment up in room per their request to take care of heavy lifting for them. Then- day of they admit to mistake of getting me in wrong time. They had asked for 1pm but they meant 12noon - so all of a sudden they couldn't come at 1pm and could I reschedule for a week from that day?? Uh no- so offer to go ahead and do at 1pm (the time they chose originally) and just be a bit later with rest of their day ( my project took less than 2 hours) no offer to fit me in at end of day. No offer to get me in next day since mistake was theirs ( they admitted their error) no offer to do for lesser price- not that their price wasn't fair but do something to make things right and show that you are a reputable business that considers customers important. Nope nope and nope. Went with Fitness Fixx they did the job no problems. Fitness One may or may not do a good job if they happen to be organized with you but be prepared to be stood up and to not have anything done to make things right.

He made sure nothing was lost for the movers. He also fixed a part that was missing a screw that's been having problems. Very nice to work with. Thank you!

It was great. He was very professional, kind, polite, knowledgeable, and warm. He was prompt in responding to communications, and was kind enough to come out on a Saturday (Easter weekend), which they don't normally do, after they lost some data for their appointments. I was really pleased.

Two years ago, I purchased a treadmill from Nordictrack. I was having consistent problems with it, so Nordictrack contracted Fitness One to perform the service visits. From 2004 - 2006 and at no fault of Fitness One (the treadmill was actually defective), Paul (from Fitness One) made about 7 trips to my house to service the treadmill. Each time he performed the work requested by Nordictrack to perfection, but the problems still persisted. Paul took detailed notes during each visit, told me exactly what he thought was wrong, and helped put me in a position to approach Nordictrack to take the defective treadmill back and give me a new one. Once delivered, Paul voluntarily came out to take our old treadmill and assemble the new one. Not only did he arrive early, but he was short-staffed and did the work at no charge to me (assembly and testing was not covered by Nordictrack)! Hats off to Paul and his team for being so timely, persistent, knowledgeable, professional and personable.

They had to order parts, and when the part was late, they kept us informed. They were very friendly and knowledgeable.

VERY EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! WAS CALLED BACK ON THE SAME DAY I REPORTED PROBLEMS WITH MY TREADMILL. PAUL WAS ON-TIME (I WAS LATE AND HE WAS PATIENT :) AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN THIS TYPE OF SERVICE. HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE! WOULD DEFINITELY CALL AGAIN AND RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

I GIVE PAUL AN A IN ALL CATEGORIES. HE HAS DONE ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON OUR TREADMILL SEVERAL TIMES. HE IS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND MENTIONS THINGS THAT YOU MAY WANT TO KEEP AN EYE ON WITHOUT PRESSURING YOU INTO FIXING IT. HIS SERVICE TAKES CLOSE TO AN HOUSE AND I THINK HE'S VERY THOROUGH. WILL CALL HIM AGAIN.

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE, THEY CALLED ME RIGHT BACK, AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING. WHEN HE WENT TO THE STORE, THE EQUIPMENT I HAD ORDERED WASN'T THERE, SO HE EVEN WENT TO ANOTHER STORE TO PICK UP THE EQUIPMENT AND DIDN'T CHARGE ME EXTRA. THE PERSON WHO DELIVERED THE ITEM WAS VERY NICE AND VERY HELPFUL. HE GAVE ME A LOT OF ADVICE FOR PLAY EQUIPMENT BECAUSE HE HAS KIDS OF HIS OWN. I WAS DEFINITELY VERY IMPRESSED AND I WILL RECOMMEND THEM. THEY WILL DELIVER AND HELP YOU SET UP JUST ABOUT ANYTHING. THEY LIST GYM AND FITNESS EQUIPMENT, LAWN CHAIRS, BASKETBALL GOALS, CHILDREN'S PLAY SETS, AND MUCH MORE. THEY TOLD ME THEY WILL PICK UP ANYTHING HEAVY THAT DOESN'T FIT IN A CAR, DELIVER IT TO YOU, AND DO SET UP UPON REQUEST. IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.
