Exceptional Excavating & Hardscapes

Description of Work: Ben gave us an estimate to remove a 20x25 concrete parking area for our investment property and haul away. In addition, he gave us a great deal on installing landscaping block around the perimeter of the parking area before he fills the parking space back in with stone. We will also be using him to dig out our drain line and supply lines to the cities as well. This is a very hold house and has a hug renovation budget, Ben helped keep the budget for these "extras" down and get them done right.

Description of Work: Provided drainage for pluming issues.

Description of Work: I had him come and give me a qoute on a new brick paver patio. It wasn't that big of an area , sohis price came in really well at $2,700 for material and labor. Once he got there to do the job, he said tha ti had a few areas that he would need to dig out to give the best look for my project. He laso brought out some sotne to line my driveway area near the road, which was $175. I had asked him if he did other types of services and he said he could install new septic sytems as well.

Description of Work: I used Exception Excavating to take a look at my drain near my driveway. He came out and had some awesome ideas to use brick pavers and tier the patio and steps down to our pool. He had to dig out some areas that were high, so we could level out some of the areas. While we were having Ben install the new back yard landscaping, our drains started backing up. Before there was water everywhere and now the yard drains very well. We found out that we had an obstructed drain line and it needed replaced. Ben was able to provide the excavating, as well as the repipe of a new drain line from the city to our house. He did an awesome job and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of these types of services. He was very professional and punctual. He came out when he said he would and did a great job. Ben and his crew did not sit around on my front lawn like some other contractors that I have hired. They went right to work and did exactly what I needed. In addition to this, we have a culvert pipe that needed replaced as well. Been was able to remove the existing pipe, install a new one, and backfill with gravel and stone. Great work he did.

Description of Work: Changed water line into the home. Replaced exterior water faucet.

Description of Work: Ben was called to repair my sump drain line from my house to the storm sewer.

Description of Work: The back, east side and partial front of the house was dug up around the foundation down to the footer. Concrete foundation was pressure washed and water-proofed, 1/4" foam board was installed over foundation to protect water proofing and add insulation. Perimeter drain tile was replaced/repaired as well. Area around foundation was back-filled and compacted. Surrounding yard (including all of front yard) was regraded to aid drainage away from the house & reseeded.
