+ -1 moreWHEN I CALLED THE OFFICE THEY SAID THE INSTALLER WOULD COME OUT AND STAY UNTIL MIDNIGHT IF NECESSARY, BUT WE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM AFTER 4 PM. WE WAITED UNTIL 8 PM THAT NIGHT (THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING). I WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED IT IF THEY WOULD HAVE JUST BEEN HONEST AND TOLD US THEY DID NOT HAVE THE CARPET. HE CALLED ME BACK SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND SAID, "I GUESS I OWE YOU AN APOLOGY, THE CARPET IS ACTUALLY IN AND WE CAN INSTALL IT." HE SAID THE INSTALLER THAT WAS SCHEDULED TO COME OUT WAS HIS SON AND WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE COME OUT WEDNESDAY NIGHT. HE ASKED WHAT I WANTED HIM TO DO TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION AND WOULD GET BACK TO ME (ON SATURDAY) BUT NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. I TOLD HIM IF HE CAME OUT AND INSTALLED THE CARPET FOR WHAT I HAVE ALREADY PAID (1/2 DOWN), WITH NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE I WOULD TAKE IT, BUT HE SAID HE WOULD NOT DO THAT. I HAVE CANCELED AND REQUESTED THE MONEY BACK THAT I HAVE PAID AND THEY ARE NOT RETURNING MY CALLS (OR MY MONEY).
Description of Work: I CONTRACTED THIS COMPANY TO INSTALL CARPET. HE OFFERED A LOWER PRICE AT FIRST AND THEN CHANGED THE PRICE WHEN WE CAME BACK IN TO PAY FOR THE CARPET. HE ORDERED THE CARPET FOR ME AND I WROTE HIM A CHECK ON 11/12/05. TWO DIFFERENT TIMES, THE CARPET WAS SUPPOSED TO COME IN BUT DID NOT. HE GUARANTEED THE CARPET WOULD BE INSTALLED BY THANKSGIVING, BUT THEY STILL DO NOT HAVE THE CARPET. THEY SCHEDULED A DAY TO COME INSTALL THE CARPET AND WE CAME HOME FROM WORK EARLY TWO DAYS IN A ROW FOR THEM TO COME. WE MOVED THE FURNITURE, ETC., BUT THEY NEVER SHOWED UP.

+ -1 moreBY FAR THE BEST CARPET PRICES ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF INDY. THE QUALITY OF THE INSTALLATION WAS VERY GOOD. THE INSTALLER MATCHED THE PATTERN ON THE BERBER CARPET. STORE PEOPLE WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. ANYONE LOOKING FOR A CARPET SHOULD DEFINITELY TRY THIS STORE.
