It was fabulous! They were hard-working and used quality products. We were very happy with their work ethic. The workers that came out to our house were very courteous and skillful. They always put any work materials away and cleaned up any mess every day . Donny Hancock even came out to our house on the weekend to bring us samples so he could place our shingles order on Monday morning. Donny went above and beyond to assist us in anyway he could. He helped us by working with our insurance company and helped us with our claim. He also gave us some very helpful advise on a maintenance problem we were having at our church. He kept us informed with everything that was going on and when thing were going to happen. He gave us before and after pictures of our house. Our house look great and we will call DC Roofing and Exterior again.

Don is a very nice, courteous, honest young man. I was pleased from start to finish and would recommend him. I will certainly call him again as he is a general contractor.

It went great. It was convenient to have one contractor that could provide all the services we needed done. They were easy to work with and affordable.

Soon after conversing with the Field Manager, Ken Patton, I realized that he was extremely knowledgeable about the repairs and he assured me that he would personally be doing much of the work, which he did. He provided me with a list of suggested repairs and I opted to leave part of them for later. They worked two brutally hot days and finished the work, doing so in a very professional manner. This was not "two men working from a truck.' They finished on Wednesday and on Friday his truck pulled up and he said that he had realized that he had forgotten to put sealant on two joints of the gutter! That is attention to detail and VERY much appreciated by me. They drove all nails by hand rather than a gun because in hot weather it is very easy to shoot them too hard and drive the nails too deep into the shingles which can cause water leakage later. If you need some roofing work done and you want to be able to rest easy knowing that all the work is done right and to be treated in a professional manner then THIS IS THE COMPANY TO CALL. I'm glad that I used Angie's List otherwise there's no telling who I might have wound up with and I know for certain that I would NOT be as pleased as I am with DC Roofing and Exteriors.

Donny worked with my clients to inspect their roof, determine there was wind damage, and then worked with the insurance company to get a new roof installed. My clients were selling their house, and needed to get the work done very quickly. He was there within a day of the call, and was very helpful throughout the process. He is prompt, courteous, and does an excellent job. He went beyond the call of duty by repairing the client's deck that also had damage, and didn't charge the client for that extra work! I highly recommend DC Roofing and Exteriors to anyone needing exterior home renovations or exterior home repairs. For us, what started as a very stressful situation in the spring of 2014, ended great, thanks to DC Roofing and Exteriors and Donny Hancock! In the Spring of 2014, our home was hit by a substantial hail storm causing excessive damage to our entire roof, all four sides of our house, all of our gutters and all of our downspouts. Shortly after, a friend referred us to DC Roofing/Donny Hancock. We were in touch with them right away, and they promptly came to our house to provide a free inspection. They spent a lot of time going over every detail of the damage, took extensive notes, and took several pictures. Then, we arranged for our Homeowner's Insurance company to come out and begin the claim process. Considering how extreme, and obvious, the damage was, we assumed insurance would cover the full extent of the needed repairs and replacements. However, it came as a shock when our insurance company only agreed to pay for 34 roof shingles to be REPAIRED and THREE sides of our house to have new siding! This was going to leave us with one entire side of extremely damaged siding, which would not have matched the other three sides. This was very frustrating to us since the damage was remarkable, and we pay for homeowners insurance for this reason! Due to the amount of damage from this hail storm, a large percent of the houses in our area were getting completely new roofs and all new siding, so, sitting back watching the neighbors homes get renovated was very frustrating for us! Don from DC Roofing, and Aaron from Spartan Claims (the public adjustor), agreed this was not fair, and, from that point forward, helped us through the process with our claim and fought all the way until insurance finally agreed to cover the full extent of the work that needed done. In the end, we received a full roof replacement and ALL four sides of our house received brand new siding, along with gutters and downspouts! All of this....and the only cost to us was our insurance deductible!! DC Roofing was completely fair, and great to work with, during this entire process, and we feel Donny truly had our best interest in mind. Once the insurance company agreed, Donny kept our house at the top of the list, and he made things happen as quickly as possible! The roof replacement was quick, yet they took enough time to hand nail all shingles, and it looked absolutely GREAT in the end!! The siding was replaced by very experienced siders who were diligent, and took the time to make it look flawless! All of the workers were courteous and friendly to us as they completed their work, and the end results were absolutely great! If it were not for Donny Hancock, we would not have gotten the repairs and replacements were deserved, and we are so thankful for the work him, and his crews, did for us! Our house looks like a brand new house, and there is not one sign of hail damage! We will definitely be using DC Roofing and Exteriors for any other exterior home repairs we have in the future, and I would strongly recommend them to anyone!

We called Angie's List Wednesday May 6th for assistance in finding contractors. They were incredibly helpful and emailed me contact info on 3 contractors. The first contractor could not come out for 5 weeks. The second contractor was available and scheduled to come out Monday May 11. Donny Hancock called the morning of the appointment to confirm and arrived exactly on time! He assessed our problem, had the proper tools on hand and was able to reseal and re-position chimney cap. He was quite fair with the amount he charged. We are quite pleased with his professionalism and workmanship! We would use this contractor again!

They did an excellent job on everything. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. I would highly recommend them and use them again without hesitation.

To make a long story short, I recently purchased the home and thought since the roof was only 4 years old, that we did not have to worry about getting a new roof put on. After getting on the roof with Ken (the owner), I realized how wrong I was. He stated to me that he could repair the roof but due to the damage and the poor installation, he recommended an entire new roof. - My previous roof looked like Chuck in a Truck installed it. - Thankfully I took Ken's and Donny's advice. Portions of the roof needed new OSB decking, new framing and fascia were all installed. Not only do I have supreme confidence in the roof and the protection it gives my home, but it looks 1000% better with the GAF shingles. Overall the experience from start to finish was smooth and easy. I was kept informed through the whole process, received explanations of what was being performed on my roof. The workers were all very nice, properly dressed, and professional in every way. They cleaned up each night (the job only took 2 days to complete) which is important to me since I have a dog. I would recommend Patton Homes for any job you may need for your home. You can trust them to give you their honest and professional opinion without the hard up sell pressure that many other companies utilize. Call these guys, you will be glad you did.

Things went great. I would highly recommend Don, Ken, Amy, and everyone involved with Patton Homes. Things were done on time and the quality of their work was very high. They didn't take any shortcuts. They did everything completely as they if they would be working on their own home. They were honest and quickly and painlessly took care of any questions or concerns I had along the way. I plan on getting windows done on my home soon and will most likely use Patton Homes for that as well.

Donny and Ken are two very honest and highly skilled craftsmen. The previous homeowner had a handyman install a roof to try and save money. Needless to say, he got what he paid for. Coping is cracking, fake flashing was installed, the shingles do not cover the framing, the chimney does not have any flashing. I was amazed that my roof does not show signs of leaking. I will be having my roof completely redone with quality GAF shingles with a quality company. There are some things that you might be able to get away with by hiring the cheapest guy. A roof is not one of those. Thanks Patton Homes!

Don spent ample time after the inspection, and clearly explained (including numerous photographs) the current status of our 20+ year old roof. He also explained the various options and gave an honest opinion as to what would PROBABLY work if we could not contract with them for a new one at this time. He then said he would prepare a detailed estimate and get it to me within several days, which he indeed did. I have no doubts that if we go with Patton for this work, that it would be done in a very highly professional manner with the best quality of workmanship and service after the installation.

I am extremely satisfied with them overall.

Overall, Patton Homes made good on all issues we had with this job. Circumstances such as weather, illness, etc., contributed to the job taking 8 days to complete. Donny with Patton Homes worked very well with our insurance company. Job was started on a Monday but workers had to wait on delivery of roofing (shingles, decking). Some siding was removed to properly install the new roofing. Job was not completed on Monday and siding was left off, although a vapor shield had been installed. We contacted Patton but they were not sure when they could send someone to finish the job. It rained Tuesday morning. It rained all day Wednesday. Thursday and Friday were good days. An email and phone call from Patton on Thursday said they would come back Friday and Saturday. Friday, they removed the old gutters. On Saturday, a crew came out to reinstall the siding, replace screens, and put on the new gutters. This crew was a subcontractor. The siding was improperly installed and gutters had not been properly secured. A vent was left uncovered - just an open hole was left. We had to go to the store and purchase a cover and install it. We let Patton know with pics and phone calls that the siding and gutters needed work. They responded right away but could not send anyone out until Monday. They removed the badly installed siding and replaced it with new siding. They secured the gutters properly. They offered to reimburse for the vent cover. Patton has hard working salesmen (Donny) and workers. They stayed in contact with us and the end result was great.

Everything was fine as far as I know. They did the work when I was not at home and they called and they let me know when they were on the way. I can see one portion of the gutters and I see the work was done.

They did a great job. The sales people, the owner, everybody were good. We met all of them. Their service was great, and they wanted to have everything done in one day, which was phenomenal, but they had a couple of guys who didn't show, so they couldn't, but I was okay with that. They did a great job, they were hard workers, they cleaned up after themselves, and everybody was nice. The salesman was really good.

This is the second time I worked with Donny. He replied my message in a timely manner , as before. He listened my concern very carefully. Then identified water leak in my bathroom in a professional way. He also fixed my vanity leak as an extra! In general he is a very professional worker with great personality. It was a excellent experience to have him work in my house. I don't have to worry about anything. He will be back next week when I have all the materials ready. Looking forward to seeing him!

A+ Service for sure! I had ordered my deal through Angie's List in the morning, thinking I may get an appointment sometime next week. Got a call from Don who said he was in the area and could take care of it today. From the time I ordered the service to the time it was completed was just about 2 1/2 hours. Thanks for the the great service.

Ken, the owner personally supervised the work. They did everything they said they would do, at the price quoted, on time and the result is amazing. If I could give a grade higher than an "A"...I would. Our place is kind of remote and hard to get to, but that didn't stop the Patton crew. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

It was great. The people were very accommodating. They did several jobs for me. I am very pleased with all the work that they did and it was very reasonably priced too! They put a boot on and then after that, they did my carpets and a repair job in my kitchen on the tile. They then did a repair job on my screen porch. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I have never been more pleased.

My basement got flooded last Friday from all the rain as my gutters were completely clogged up. While most other service providers were quoting me a week to even come and take a look at the house, Donny from Patton homes visited the same day and helped me understand what my options were. Since I was anyways planning on completely renovating the basement, he agreed to just fix the root cause (gutters) and help dry up the basement so there are no mold problems. Ken Patton and his Team visited the next day to start the work and although it was not a part of the agreed to work they helped me remove the totally wet carpet in my basement. They took up additional project work on the spot -- gutted the basement -- and then installed all their equipment to get the basement dry. They cleaned up my gutters and also gave me some advise on how to avoid future flooding issues :-) In addition to all that --- they also helped install a water softner for free!! Overall, I was very pleased with the excellent level of professionalism and quality of work. The gave me good pricing as they understood this was something my insurance was not going to cover. They were extremely quick to respond and took up additional work to help me out ! I will definitely recommend Patton Homes to others and look forward to working with them on other improvement projects I have lined up! Thanks Ken, Donny and the Patton Homes Team!

Donny came out to the scheduled appointment as was on time and professional. He looked at the damage that had taken place and listened to my concerns. He was extremely thorough in trying to identify the source of the water. He spent time on the roof and in the attic space to identify where it was coming from. He explained what was happening, what he discovered, and laid out a couple courses of action to fix the problem. He was able to provide a fix to stop any new water from coming in to prevent any further damage. He worked up estimates for additional work to fix the damaged areas as well as a couple other options to help prevent the issue from reoccurring. The quotes were provided in a timely manor and the pricing was in line with my expectations. I look forward to using this contractor again for Home repair and remodel needs!
