Description of Work: D&M tore out my old concrete patio and put in a new slab to meet current specs. This was done late last year. At first, I was concerned about "spotting" that appeared during the winter (apparently, the concrete had not had sufficient time to fully dry). Once spring came and the concrete dried a bit, Doug came out and power-washed and sealed the job. It now looks great!

+ -1 morePrice was very good and they did quality cement work. Doug is very proud of the types of materials he uses. Their workers are very quite and efficient. They arrived a month earlier than what they expected to. They called me back right away and were on time for the estimate. They did a quality job but we overlooked something major regarding the accessability issues.
Description of Work: Doug and Monica showed up on time. They were doing estimates on Sunday to take care of all of their calls. We agreed to their price within an hour after they left. We needed a ramp blending into a sidewalk for my husbands wheelchair and they did a good job with the slope of the ramp. There is a problem with the end of the sidewalk. It is now 8 inches above the surface of the driveway at the end and my disable husband cannot get off the sidewalk. I did not notice this problem from the sketch they made and when we discussed it with Doug he said if we were to blacktop the drive it would meet the height. All I had said is that we were thinking of blacktopping it. Now we have to hire someone to make a ramp from the sidewalk to the driveway. The second sidewalk in the front of our house is below the soil now we have to do some landscaping to blend this together.

+ -1 moreDoug and Monica Reese own the company. They were both very polite, professional, responsive and easy to work with. We had a slight miscommunication on one item we had asked for, and it was resolved immediately and with no hassle. Everything looked wonderful when they were done (we had many positive comments from neighbors). They did all this work in 2 days, and cleaned up perfectly. And all this was done at a very reasonable price - lowest of the 3 bids we got. It's not always you can get the best job and service for the lowest bid, but we did. I would recommend them highly.
Description of Work: Replaced our entire driveway (about 45' x 16'),2-car garage floor and front walk (about 3' x 20'), and added an extra parking space alongside the driveway (about 8' x 18'). All of the existing concrete was torn out and replaced. For the driveway, we had them add a quick-dry agent so we could drive on it in 1 week rather than 3 weeks, as it would have been without this added ingredient.

CREW ARRIVED ON TIME AND WORKED STEADILY TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT. SPECIAL CARE WAS EVEN TAKEN TO PRESERVE THE SOD THAT NEEDED TO BE REMOVED, SO THAT THE HOMEOWNER COULD REPLACE IT, 24 HOURS AFTER CONCRETE WAS POURED.
Description of Work: REMOVED TWO BAD SECTIONS OF CONCRETE DRIVEWAY, RE-POURED SECTIONS WITH NEW CONCRETE INCORPORATING A PLASTICIZING AGENT TO ALLOW DRIVEWAY USAGE IN 7 DAYS, AREA WAS ADEQUATELY MARKED TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL USE, ALL DEBRIS HAULED AWAY.
