They were good. Really professional. I will give them 10 star. Did what needs to be done also. They responded fast when i call them. They were very nice. Super nice.

These guys are the best. I've used 2 other companies that seem to have 100 trucks on the road and we see them all around Indianapolis, but they can't come close to the results I've already seen from Cragen. I look forward to seeing my lawn this summer!

They are doing a good job, they are more expensive then other companies, but they do a better job.

I had him over seeded and aerated my front lawn. The grass popped up well and grew with vigor. It seems to be growing back nicely now that its warming up this spring. He also took care of weeds and crabgrass. Overall a great experience and very professional.

Cragen is phenomenal. In fact, most of my neighbors use Cragen because of us. They are very good. We get five or six treatments a year. Another thing they do most pretty phenomenal is you can pay upfront. You can pay in the beginning of spring before any other treatments and get a 10% discount if you pay for all your treatments at once. We had zero issues with their services. Because I live in a wooded lot, they will call me and give me notice when they are going to put my fall treatment down so I could get the weeds removed before they come.

Our lawn was a hot mess after 8 years in our house with only minimal care - we would put down fertilizer and weed killer granules a couple times a year but not always early enough or quite right timing with rain. We can manage mowing and edging, but the rest... Finally, we decided to ask for help. Cragen Lawn Care was well reviewed on Angies List and of the companies we contacted, was the fastest to send someone out to quote the care. While the number of applications (5) is a fewer than some of the others, the lawn seems to be doing fine. The person who quoted the work was actually one of the owners and the couple of times I have called to ask about when the service was (once for scheduling around tree planting and once since the weeds were getting bad), we have received calls back within 48 hours. The lawn looks better than it has since we moved in. We get a little card stuck in a holder near the driveway to alert us to stay off the grass and an additional note in the door handle to indicate what was done and if there is anything we need to know - sharpen blades, raise mower deck, water, etc. We will definitely be using them next year!

He was able to get us on his schedule quickly for a cricket problem we were having. The loud nightly chirping right outside the window was stopped immediately.

The experience was okay. He recommended three treatments like the early spring treatment.

Went very well. Several in our neighborhood have this service. Only problem we had was we paid in advance for the all applications to get a discount. Won't do that again. One time when the service agent was in the neighborhood doing everyone, it began to rain. We were home and saw him leave the neighborhood before he got to our lawn. We called the office and told them he did not get us. The office lady's response was that it was on his record that he did. She did not say she would check into it or anything. That was that. We did not have a flag in our yard saying he was here nor was there a notice on our door that he had performed the service (which they always do even if it is a no charge). So from now on, we will just pay as we go. If I had to guess, he probably completed the whole neighborhood paperwork when he got here, then it began raining and he forgot to come back. We will continue to use them. This was our first year. I know from our neighbors' experience, generally if there are issues, someone personally comes out and addresses the issue. Was disappointed in the response noted above, tho.

They come at certain times a year and do certain treatments. I think my husband is happy with them because we’ve continued to use them for 2 years. Our lawn looks much better now.

Unless I have a lawn a concern or need to modify my service contract, I do not have contact with Mr. Cragen or his technician. They have always provided the lawn treatments at the correct intervals and they leave a stake in the yard and my paid receipt at the door.

The treatments that they've done on my lawn have worked properly. There used to be a lot of bare spots and weeds everywhere and that has pretty much disappeared and it's really looking better. We don't have to be waiting for them or have an appointment. They just come and do the work.

We have used their services since 1995. They are very friendly and knowledgable. They have always been extremely helpful to us. They are very nice people to work with, especially Rick.

Mr. Cragen was very knowledgeable. He was a gentleman to work with. I highly recommend him.

The lawn has improved since they started. They did make a special trip to treat a problem area as well.

We used them last year and things seem to be working out pretty well. I had a question and somebody was here the next day. They're doing a good job. They come four or five times a year and it doesn't matter whether we're here or not, they just come and do it.

I called Cragen's office, spoke to a nice woman who scheduled a day for the owner to come out and give me a quote. I came home one day and a quote was hanging on my front door. I called back, told them I wanted to have the lawn treated, they came back a few days later and did the first treatment of the lawn. Now, a month later, my lawn is weed free and looks fantastic.

It went very well. The technician arrived on time, completed the work, and left a bill on the door handle. The results have been impressive. My lawn had not been treated for a couple of years and with the hot and dry summer we had last year, it was in bad shape with plenty of weeds. With the treatment, the lawn is looking so much better. The second treatment will be due shortly.

Fantastic....Lawn is thick .green and lush looking.This is the 1st time we have used him Prior to using him I drove around the neighborhood looking for beautiful looking lawns and the first 2 doors I knocked on told me about Cragens lawn care and how confident they were with his work. Yes,it is a little more expensive,but they could see that the products he uses are great. I am so grateful for the service and can't wait to see how the lawn looks this fall.
