BEAUTI PLEAT DRAPERIES

Last spring I commissioned her to sew two small table clothes with gathered sides. I supplied all the materials. Her charges for labor were $200.00. This August I wanted two "panels" of drapes sewed. I had selected the material already. She was unwilling to take the assignment because of her personal time restraints and her family obligations. I understood and was willing to wait. However, her recommendations to me on how much fabric to buy were outlandishly overestimated. When we discussed price she wanted 75% more for labor and $25.00 to visit my house and confirm window measurements than any other quote given to me by other seamstresses. In other words I found her very difficult to work with and I didn't appreciate what I consider "price gougching." I'm glad I found someone else to take on this commission for $50.00 as contrasted to her estimate of $225.00!

It is two women and they have been here for quite a while. They are local. I've used them before and I was well pleased. Their quality is not off the rack type. They took their time. She came out and showed me the samples and helped me decide what I wanted. She helped me narrow it down. She called when the material came in and let me know when they started. They came and hung them. They are very, very professional. It was quality work and they take pride in their work. I've used them twice and I would use them again. I have looked in the stores and thought their price was good. I would use them again.

Janet, the owner, was professional yet personable. I knew after talking to other companies that I wanted this company to have my business from the presentation stated. She listened to my request, and was very patient with all of my questions. I highly recommend Beauti Pleat. I had a very positive experience.

The owner, Janet Swigert, no longer has a showroom, so you just make an appointment for her to come to your home. She brings many samples to choose from, and there is absolutely no "hard sell". She is very pleasant and efficient, she maintains good communications, and delivers as promised. Installation is fast and excellently done.
