We hired Mike with he "worked" with WE Fix Indy. He got our deposit of the first half of the amount for our project. Said our project was on the books and would start in a week. The week went by and they painting crew was unable to start that day. He gave us another date and it turned into four different start dates. Today was official start date and the paint crew discussed to us what he and Mike agreed upon. Those terms were not the term Mike had told us and what we paid money for. Come to find out the entire time we thought he worked for Dan at We fix Indy he hadn't worked there in 6 months. He took our money and spent it all and said he didn't have our money and wasn't able to pay us back because he really needed it. We are taking him to small claims. This guy is a FRAUD!!! Don't ever hire him. He will take your money and run. He came up with many excuses as to why he couldn't pay the money back. We contacted We Fix Indy and they said they were not surprised buy this guys actions and that is why he no longer works with the company. We paid money and the project didn't get completed

You must have us confused with another company. We don't perform roofing services and don't show ever having done business with you.

All Climate Roofing inspected the second story roof and found rot on the eaves. Upon further inspection they found the former roofer had installed the roofing poorly which led to rot. Charles, the All Climate Roofing owner, redesigned the roof to prevent future rot, leveled the beams of the roof, rebuilt the eaves, double layered the paper, painted the eaves and fascia, and installed tiles that matched the first story tiles. He and his crew were professional, tidy, and done on time. I give All Climate Roofing my highest rating and highly recommend them to anyone who wants an excellent roof.

We had to pay out of pocket for our roof replacement, so we wanted the best value for our money. We compared locally owned All Climate Protection (All Climate Roofing) with a large, well known and respected firm. Mike Jones assured us that the quality of his products and workmanship would match or exceed the competitor, and he stated multiple times that he really wanted to earn our business. One extra selling point that he offered toward this goal was a $500 gift card to Target since we lived in the same city as his business. He mentioned it in e-mails, and it was ultimately written into our roofing contract. Although we were pleased with Mike?s communication before, during, and immediately following the roof replacement (completed June 6, 2015 and paid in full that date), Mike had a sharp change in demeanor and professionalism when it came to fulfilling his contractual agreement of the remaining, relatively small value gift card. When we started calling in late June about the card, we were given a variety of excuses including that his accountant had health issues, and that the gift card promotion had actually expired prior to our job but he would honor it anyway if we would ?be patient.? On July 4th I wrote an e-mail to Mike asking him about quotes for additional work and the status of the gift card. He replied on July 6th (1 month following the roof job completion and our full payment) stating, ?As far as gift card I need to make sure accountant has all information. That surprises me you have not received anything. Let me get back with you. Please and thank you for your patience? (e-mail transcript available). Several weeks went by. In mid-August (over 2 months since paid roof completion), we tried to contact Mike by phone but had to leave voice messages. We were getting less patient and stated that we did not want any trouble, we just wanted him to fulfill his contract with the gift card. I finally reached Mike by phone on Monday, August 24th. After exchanging brief pleasantries, I calmly asked Mike about the card. He said he did not have the money yet but would ?after the job he was currently doing.? I asked how many jobs he had completed since ours, and he replied ?four.? I asked why he could not get the $500 from those four jobs. At this point he raised his voice, stating that he ?did not work that way? and complained angrily that we were ?taking advantage of him? and ?not being patient.? I tried to get him to calm down but he would not, stating as he hung up to ?be patient or get a lawyer.? We then received an invoice (dated August 26th) from Mike that included outrageous prices for miscellaneous jobs that he and his subcontractors had performed during our roof repair. These were relatively small jobs that I had offered to pay him extra for during the work and he told me not to worry about it, stating that he would cover the minimal costs. The items and costs were as follows (invoice available): ?Spray Paint Smoke Stack? ($100),? ?Trip Charge for Spray Paint? ($20- note: we went to buy the spray paint and the subcontractor had already painted the smoke stack using paint he had on hand when we returned), Disconnect And Connect New Bird Cage ($150- note: this is one of those cheap plastic vent covers; I paid for the cover and asked if I could use their ladder to put it up myself but was told not to worry about it; the job took less than 10 minutes), ?Trip Charge and Inspection on leaking Window Not Caused By Roof. first trip due to leak is free? ($200- note: we had a slight leak through a window casing in our house prior to the job that became worse following the job; Mike wanted to make sure it was not the result of his work and volunteered to come over, stating ?he was here for me? and that it was not a problem since he was on his way home... to the city where we also live). One more charge that really floored us, ?Referral Fee for Son Playing Piano at Funeral Home? ($30- note: seriously, charging us for a referral that he offered, and that we never even heard about after that?). In total, the invoice charges ?just happened? to add up to $500, and Mike ?gave us credit? for the $500 Target gift card to ?zero out? the balance. The invoice was a violation of his own contract that stated, ?No changes to the Scope of Work will be part of this contract unless reduced to writing with the appropriate agreed upon pricing changes.? At this point, we sought legal advice. Based on that advice, we wrote an e-mail and sent a hardcopy in the US mail (document available) to Mike stating that we believe that the invoice was an example of a fraudulent business practice (identified by the Indiana Attorney General?s Consumer Protection Division), and we requested that he fulfill his contractual agreement by delivering a valid $500 Target gift card to our residence by September 19, 2015 (two weeks from the letter date, and over 3 months from the paid roof completion date). If he did not, we stated that we would provide negative feedback utilizing sources of social media and other means (including Angie?s List, all major insurance companies, BBB, City Search, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Google, Insider Pages, Local.com, MerchantCircle, Yahoo, and Yelp). The negative feedback would include breach of contract, failure to maintain support/positive relations after the sale, and fraudulent business practices. We explained that the feedback would potentially cause tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue for him over a $500 gift card. Regrettably, as anticipated, Mike did not fulfill his contractual obligation. In addition to providing this negative feedback, we will pursue further action by contacting the Indiana Attorney General?s Consumer Protection Division and by employing legal counsel.

Description of Work: Mike Jones was very professional and helpful in deciding what type of shingles and gutters to have installed. He and his crew were polite. There was a weather delay. They were fast and efficient and Mike did a great job of updating us on the progression. They completed the job perfectly. The Gutter replacement was subbed out to D&B Continuous Gutter LLC and installed better gutters than we originally had. He has great sub contractors.
