Certified Appliance Repair

From scheduling to assessing the problem to securing parts and completing repairs, Certified was outstanding. While others in the service industry have refused to deal with my Jenn-air appliances, there was no hesitation to address the issue. Throughout the process, I was kept abreast of what needed to be done by actually showing me and explaining what needed fixing. Knowledgeable, professional and personal - I cannot be any happier with Certified. I will use them again. Gary and Jessica, you are the best!

We have had Certified out a few different times over the past few years for literally the same issues with our dryer. Sometimes, they arrive outside of their 3 hour time window and sometimes they are on time. They always arrive with 2 people who seem to sit and talk about things not related to the project that they should be fixing. Of course each time (which I’m sure they say to everyone about every model appliance they have) they state that our model is a good quality appliance that we want to hold onto. This last time was the straw that broke the camel’s back as they wanted us to pay over $300 for a dryer when we could buy a brand new one for $150 more. We shouldn’t have trusted them let alone more than once. We decided not to have them fix it and they still took $80 from us. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

Wow! My husband and I were so impressed with the service Gary provided us. Our dryer wasn't turning and he ordered the part and fixed it - pretty status quo right? But what was sooo amazing is that while he had the machine open he checked over and cleaned everything!! The dryer is 8 years old and we have 5 children...so it was a big job. He then cleaned out our whole crazy long dryer vent system and then, he actually told us ways we could keep it running great. VERY knowledgeable! We decided this will be our go to company, so we had him come back and fix our freezer water dispenser. He knew right away what the problem was and again went above and beyond to make it right. Again, he helped us understand why the problem developed and how to keep it from happening again. It might sound silly, but we are so happy to have found Gary and his company! Highly recommend.

Andy was wonderful. He quickly found the problem. Had the part in the van and was fixed in under 2 hours.

It went fine, he worked fast but the repair cost was greater than expected.

Inspection was quick, accurate and cheap

This young man was very polite, patient and considerate. His name is Andy and I will call the employer and give him a high rating and ask for him when I call for any other repairs. This washer/dryer has been nothing but an expense account and is only a few years old. He works many long hours and his very neat on the job and does not hurry. I will never buy another GE stack model washer. I now have approximately $1000. more in a machine that is not even 5 years old.

It went really well. The lady I spoke with on the phone to make my initial appointment was very polite, friendly, cheerful & helpful. They are very flexible with your schedule. I called on a Friday I think it was & my appointment was the following. Tuesday (would've been sooner if my schedule allowed). I didn't have the $ to fix it that day so the Technician gave me a cost qoute & said I could call the office whenever I was ready to make an appointment for him to come back & repair my dryer. When I called the office back he was out the next day to fix it. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and very punctual (he showed up ahead of schedule). He called about 15 minutes before he came to let us know he was on his way. He had my dryer fixed in about 45 minutes. I am very satisfied with the service.

timer was out he had the part in the truck he was not her around 15 to 30 min. he was very profession and nice.

Matt was professional and assured us that our washing machine was fully functional at this time. He saw no need to replace any part at this time, so we had to pay the service charge which is very reasonable. I will definitely use Certified Appliance Repair again since Matt services the Columbus, IN area

Scheduling the service call was quick and easy. The technician arrived at the scheduled appointment time and quickly got to work. The technician was courteous and professional. Reasons for the service call: The seal around the washer door had become badly stained from mold/etc. There was also an intermittent squealing/rubbing sound behind the drum (?) when the washer was ending the spin cycle. I also could not use the high speed spin because the washer was not level and vibrated/moved badly at speeds above the low spin. The technician replaced the seal, leveled the washer and checked for any other problems. At the time of the service call, the squealing/rubbing sound had stopped a few weeks earlier. The technician still checked the mechanisms but did not find any obvious problem. The technician did note the drain hole in the original seal had become clogged and therefore would not let the excess water drain out (I had not known there was even a drain hole in the seal). He commented the clog appeared to contain quite a bit of pet hair (which made sense since we have pets and the pet bedding has been washed numerous times over the past 7 years). He showed me where the drain hole was located. He also showed me the short drain hose below it and suggested I periodically check the drain hole to make sure it was not clogged. He also leveled the washer. Since leveling, I have been able to use the high speed spin cycle without the washer vibrating much at all. It certainly does not vibrate out of position anymore. The washer is much quieter during the spin cycles and in general seems to be working very well now.

The washer quit working on a Friday evening at the end of a week when all three of our young children had been sick, so it was truly an emergency. I was prepared to pay big bucks to have someone come fix it on a weekend, but I found Certified Appliance Repair, and their website said they do $30 service calls, even in my town, which is nearly an hour from Greensburg, and even on weekends. I was almost suspicious because that seemed like such a good deal. I was able to reach someone easily on Friday night, and two repairmen showed up on time on Saturday morning. They diagnosed the problem, explained it to me and told me how to prevent it in the future, and then replaced the part. They had a replacement pump in the van, and so they were on their way--and I was back to doing laundry--within 45 minutes. They even left me with a list of error codes so that I could more easily determine problems with my washer in the future and potentially fix them myself.
