This is a one man company and I was amazed at how efficiently the job was done. Rowland was very professional and a perfectionist with his work. We showed him a picture of our deck idea and gave him our suggestions - he discussed options available and was very specific with the plan before he began. It's beautiful! He's very good at going the extra step with the finishing work and left no mess behind. The other odds and ends were completed quickly as well. So glad to have found him - will be keeping his name for future projects and have already recommended him to friends.

I have contacted Roland for numerous handyman jobs around my aging home and he never fails to deliver superior service at a very reasonable price. Earlier this year he found the source of the leak in my ceiling and fixed it; now I have a new light fixture and paint in that section and it looks great. He is unfailingly courteous, very punctual, and goesthe extra mile to ensure the job is done right and durably. I highly recommend his services for any of your home repair or remodeling needs. He is trustworthy and very competent.

Roland did an excellent job on siding garage that was in dire need of it. Had some roofing that needed to be reshingled due to storm damage that he fixed. Installed a new six panel steel service door with new threshold. Trimmed out existing window and painted to match siding. Also painted overhang that did not get vinyled. Roland was here when he said he would be and did the job for the price that he quoted me. He also rehung existing security lights that were not properly done before. He cleaned up the site after he was done each day. Would recommend Roland to anyone needing home repairs. I will have him out in spring to put vinyl siding on house.

Each time I have used We Care, Roland has been very prompt and very affordable.

Roland came to give me an estimate for the repair. The estimate was satisfactory and he had time to do the work right then. He repaired the top of the door frame, replaced the door frame on one side, and replaced all the door stops on the top and both sides. He removed all the vinyl siding over the door to rebuild everything properly and installed additional weather proofing that probably should have been provided by the original builder. He painted every piece of new wood before installing. Everything was cleaned up and the new wood was the only sign that he had been there. Should I need more work in the future, I now know a reliable, professional person to call.

FANTASTIC!! Roland had been to my house a few months back to intall a fence all around the front yard. I appreciated his work so much I promised myself that whatever work I should ever need I would only contact Roland. I can't say enough about him he is reliable, efficient, punctual and most of all easy to talk to has a wonderful personality!!! When I call him I explain what I need, he lets me know when he can come sometimes he'll say Monday or Tuesday is that ok he is always honest and upfront about when he is available. This man could say I can do it but it will be about a week. I would wait for him because he is well worth it!!! When finished with job everything is clean. I don't have to say that he of course does an incredible job!! Don't pass the opportunity to have a job well done!!!!!

Roland was easy to get in contact with and always responded quickly. He was able to start the project shortly after providing an estimate. Although I asked multiple times for a detailed written estimate, he would only provide an oral estimate until the day that he started the project and then he provided a rather vague hand-written proposal. He removed a damaged/leaking fiberglass shower from our basement and improved a poorly installed drain. He constructed a custom tile shower in place of the fiberglass shower. The shower looks nice and we are happy with the quality. He was very good about following up with us to see if we were satisfied with his work.

I was looking for a handyman on Angie's List. When I entered in my tasks, We Care Home Repair was among one of the companies that aligned with my tasks. When I reviewed the We Care Home Repair information, I thought the owner's name sounded familiar. I realized after doing some research that he had been recommended to me by a work colleague.. I called the owner for an estimate on drywall fixes and building a deck almost two months ago. The owner was extremely busy at that time but said that he would call me when he had availability--I was in no hurry for completion of these tasks. And, he did exactly that--which impressed me because I had forgotten about the call. He called and came out the same day, gave me a good and fair estimate on building a deck. He removed the 10 x 12 patio along with the concrete steps and hauled it away. He built a 16 x 14 deck in 4 days (next week after estimate). I must say that I am extremely please with the results. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about deck building and made a few recommendations, which I accepted! He was very professional and paid attention to detail. In addition, he kept me apprised of when he would arrive for the day and exactly what he would be doing each day. He was extremely patient and answered all my questions that I had to help me feel more at ease with my choices. I have recommended this provider to my daughter and son-in-law and definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to build deck. And, I plan to use this provider for future projects.

It was very, very good. He came when he said he would. He went right over to Mernard's and brought the new door back, took the old one off and put the new one on. He did a fine job and even got rid of the old door and the box the new one came in.

He replaced two doors that had some rotting. We also had rotten wood under the bottom of the frame that we didn't know about it until he removed the doors. He went and bought more wood and repaired it. He fixed a sagging wood stoop and repaired some water damage by another door. He did some odd jobs including teaching me how to spackle. He was very thorough and took pride in his work. He squeezed me into his schedule as I was going out of town. I was very pleased and wished I would have found out about him years ago.

It was very difficult to get Roland to commit to scheduling a time to do repairs. I understand he's busy but "maybe Friday or maybe next week" is hard to schedule around. His work replacing the door hinges and fixing the nail pops was satisfactory. However, I was disappointed with his work on our ceiling stains. He originally said that spraying Killz spray paint should cover them. I went upstairs while he was working to stay out of his way. When I came back downstairs, the spray paint was completely the wrong color. It was significantly darker than the ceiling paint. It looked worse than the original stains! All he said was, "The Kilz was darker than I thought it was." I was disappointed he would continue to spray two large areas of my ceiling when he knew it was the wrong color and didn't even stop to ask me if he should continue or not. I then asked if he did ceiling paint work to cover the Kilz spray. He said he didn't do painting work. He then proceeded to tell me that painting the stains wouldn't be hard, I just needed some white paint and "a little elbow grease." I didn't hire a contractor to tell me I could do something on my own with "a little elbow grease." I hired a professional so my home would look pristine.

Called Roland to replace three large windows. He scheduled the visit within one week of call. Arrived on time, completed work in a professional manner. Left the work area clean. Roland has been one of the "best finds" on Angies list. He does all the work himself and provides high quality results. He called and came the next work day. Within 30 minutes, he had assessed how to attach the window blind and completed the task. He was so polite. He cleaned up the area completely and his rate for the job was incredibly fair. We will definitely use Roland for our next "handyman" repair job!

I contacted Roland because we needed to have doors installed to close off a room to make into an office. We had double glass paneled doors installed with a glass panel across the top of the doors. We also needed to have wood trim replaced around the garage doors that he took care of using cedar wood. Lastly, we have an area of floor that was uneven because the subfloor sagged. Roland jacked the floor up from the basement and reinforced the beams to raise the floor. Overall, Roland did an outstanding job and we will use him again if need be.

I have used Roland for many years and he has always been very dependable and reliable. His work is exceptional. You will not be disappointed!

He did a great job. He even went to the hardware store, bought needed pieces and installed the door--all included in the price. I would readily use him again.

I have NEVER come across someone as dedicated to the job he does! Roland is fantastic!!!! He was punctual, he not only listened to what I needed him to do he HEARD me as well. One of the things out of many that was impressive is the quality of his work, very detailed he cut no corners everything was very precise!! I have to mention his personality he was warm, friendly and easy to communicate with. We talked a bit but he never stopped working! He shared ideas because god knows I know nothing of fencing gave me options and good one's at that. The job was done long before I thought it would be. Roland went beyond the call of duty by putting my shutters up for me. He's a busy man but if you need work done and there is a bit of a wait TRUST ME he's worth the wait!!! I am particular, I like things done properly. When he left everything was as clean as it was when he arrived. Oh He also put up my mailbox. He is truly a hard to find detailed hard working honest person. I would not have hesitated to give him my house keys if I had had to go someplace. I think very highly of him and I will not for a second hesitate to call him again Roland will be back to put in my back fence up as well. PLEASE don't make the mistake of passing this gentleman without calling him. The BEST!!

He was wonderful, really helped us out

Roland showed up on time Tuesday and started by making sure the door I bought was not damaged. He also measured the new door and then the rough opening to make sure I didn't make any mistakes on ordering the door. I didn't think there would be any but I liked that he double checked before removing old door. The installation went well and required a trim board to be replace due to the new doors brick molding being a little narrower then the old door. No problem with the measurements because the rough opening was fine just a difference in the widths of the new brick molding vs the old brick molding (house build in 1984). Roland replaced the trim at no extra cost and also added extra insalation around the door, and caulked everything. When finishd the door looked great and you would never know it wasn't the original. Also love the look with the new full view storm door. After Roland was finished I asked if he would look at my screen door on my back porch which was a mess. He offered to pick up a new door, deliever to me to paint it and he came back on Friday and installed it with no problems. His help in getting this door was great because I didnt have to miss any work in getting it done. I was very pleased with how everything went and would not hesitate to use him again.

We are extremely happy with the results. Roland was prompt, cleaned up every day and took care of the security system in our home. We have a cat and Roland was very careful with her by not letting her out and being attentive that she was in the house. He also texted me pictures of the progress, checked with us about all the details and again, cleaned up the area every day. We would highly recommend this provider and look forward to having him do more projects for us! We would be happy to share photos of the finished project for anyone thinking of using Roland.
