He did a good job. They took care of our issues. There was one technician here doing the work we felt their prices were good.
Description of Work: I purchased a deal for $590 for complete electrical panel swap-out & breaker upgrade, plus a FREE whole house surge protector installed. We added on more work to the appointment so we paid additional.

They never responded after the Big Deal was purchased. When I was in need of their start date they were two weeks to meet with me to preview the job. They gave us a and quot;time windowand quot; to show up at the house between 8 and 10:00 AM. We arrived at 8, Sparky's arrived at 10 in an unmarked white van. We gave him a detailed walk-through; however, he did not take notes, nor respond with an estimate to do the remainder of our work. Two weeks of nagging them about obtaining the permit (to do the work) and requests for copies of license and insurance, they no longer responded. So, I terminated their big deal, contacting Angie's List frustrated and perturbed about Angie's approval of this contractor, this contractor and deal.

Description of Work: I contacted the provider and made the initial appointment in May. The provider did call back to reschedule that appointment and we did. However, he failed to show up to the new appointment and I made another in July, again no show, and a final one for the end of August, again no show.

I bought a Big Deal and made an appointment for June 4. I received a call on June 3 saying that we needed to reschedule. We agreed to do it on June 13. On June 12 I received a call from them again saying that we needed to reschedule. We then rescheduled for June 27 and today, June 26, I got another call suggesting I should get a refund or reschedule it for 2 months later. They kept giving me the run around.
Description of Work: They didn't honor my Big Deal purchase.

Description of Work: Moments after purchasing the Angie's List deal, I e-mailed the provider to set up installation. (05-27-2013) The provider did not respond. I then called the provider that Friday (5-31-2013) and again on 6-3-2013. I left a voicemail both times. Neither time was my call returned. On 6-5-13 I attempted one last time to reach the provider, as I had someone coming the house the next day to give an estimate on the same job.

I had been staring at a big hole in my wall for 6 years and am so happy with the outcome. They were prompt, courteous, informative, understanding to what I was looking for and handled themselves with the utmost professionalism. I will be recommending Mr. Electric to all my family and friends as well as calling them for any future electrical needs.
Description of Work: I contacted Mr. Electric to give me an estimate on installing a door chime. The previous electrician I had used started the job and left it unfinished not to mention a big hole in my wall. James came and looked at the work I needed done. He advised me on what my options were and what the pro's and con's were for each option. After settling on what needed to be done he set up an appointment time for me. He was very punctual, professional and organized when he returned for our appointment. He installed the chime very quickly and I couldn't be more pleased with his work and professionalism. I would highly recommend this company to everyone and will be calling them back for any further electrical work I might need done in the future.

James, the technician arrived when he said he would. He gave me an exact price quote and told me that they charge by the job not the hour. So the price I paid was the price that was quoted. That was amazing to me!James was courteous and polite at all times. He explained what he was doing and made sure that it was what I wanted.I was given the opportunity to ask questions and was not treated like I didn't know anything.When the job was completed, James walked me through the mechanics of the fans, he explained the purpose of switching the direction of the fan blades and how the fans would also help to heat the room if I used them properly. He explained the warranty on the installation. He also encouraged me to register the fans with the manufacturer so I could take advantage of that warranty also and be notified if there were any product recalls. James also cleaned up before he left. Overall, a great experience and great service. I will be calling Mr. Electric of Eastern Suburbs of Indianapolis again.
Description of Work: I had Mr. Electric install 2 ceiling fans in my living room. I also purchased the advantage plan to help save money later.
