Guardian Flooring Advancements

We really enjoyed working with Kristen and Dave. We had hardwoods installed throughout our entire home, and they put so much time and dedication into helping us choose a product that aligned with our vision. They were also incredibly communicative throughout the process. We had a few issues arise (related to the work of other contractors who damaged the new floors) that required the team to come back and repair certain aspects of the job, and they were so flexible and amenable to getting this done. The finished floors are beautiful. We highly recommend this company!

Beautiful work, lovely wood. The team worked very hard and went above and beyond to repair subfloor before installing the new hardwoods. The new floors are lovely and solid.

Dave and his crew were exceptional. The floor is gorgeous. They were professional and clearly utilize their decades of experience to make the installation fast (3 installers, 2 full days). The instal date was set about 2 months in advance, and they came exactly on those dates. Delivery of the flooring a week ahead in order for the wood to aclimate to our home was also excellent. Finally, I had a quote from another company that was $1800 more expensive. I believe Guardian is able to charge lower prices because the owner is also the lead installer. No middleman to take 15-20% off the top.

Great service. We found on Angi . We were extremely pleased with all phases of their service, which was timely, professional, and a fantastic job. They promised 5 days, and it was met without hesitation. We love our floors. Only wish : We wish would we have found them sooner.

As they indicated, the first day was a full day of sanding , then choosing the appropriate stain which they applied. On day 2, the first coat of sealer was applied and on day 3 the final coat of sealer was applied. It cost $1,335 and we are pleased with the look of the floors as well as the professionalism and communication of the company. We would hire them again if needed.

The sanding and refinishing took about three days and I was very happy with the end result. The floors had several areas of scratches and all of them have disappeared. Guardian Flooring did a wonderful job!

We've had multiple interactions with Guardian (Kristen and Dave) in the past few weeks. Each employee was very pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. When Dave came to evaluate our situation, he was on time and you could tell he was present and focused on our project. He took time to answer our questions and fully understand the scope of our job. Would highly recommend this company based on these interactions.

Working with Dave, Kristen and their team was fantastic. They communicated so well with us, gave us accurate timeframes and were very punctual. Dave came out to take measurements that he easily could have asked for by phone or email, Kristen kept us up to date with every step of the process. We are beyond happy with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.

You can not ask for a better company. They went above and beyond in all aspects. Came on site to go over materials, extremely accurate measurements, went an extra mile after insurance was difficult to say the least, on time every day, and finished ahead of schedule with everything being PERFECT! I can not express my appreciation enough and words can not describe how great this group is!

Went great! They were very easy to work with and communication was great. The end result speaks for itself and all my guest that have seen the new floors think they look amazing! Would definitely use them again!

My wife and I bought our first home and wanted to make some immediate changes, so like any inexperienced DYI expert I dove right into removing tile flooring from our entryway (see photos for aftermath). I quickly realized installing this complicated job was above my abilities, and with maybe a box and a half of materials leftover there was not enough room for error to learn. I reached out a few contractors, and Guardian had fantastic reviews so they were one of my choices. From the moment Kristen answered the phone I felt like they truly cared and wanted to get the job done for us. Her customer service was fantastic, and although they were booked out for months, she kept us in mind if they had an opening (which they did!). On the day of installation, Dave and three of his crew members arrived on time and immediately started working. Dave was very upfront about the challenge they faced with having so little material to work with, but assured us that they would do their absolute best to stretch it as far as possible. If I remember correctly, it only took them roughly 4 hours to complete the job and we even had 4 planks leftover! They were quick, professional, transparent, and everything you could ask for from a company. As you can see from the after images, Guardian did a fantastic job of finishing the section out. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone, and will definitely be calling them again in the future.

Guardian Flooring is amazing to work with. They are incredibly professional and they did the job in the exact amount of time they said they would do it. They showed up on time every day and stuck to the schedule that they told us they would. I can't say enough good things about them - they are incredible and I would recommend them to anyone, no matter how big or small the job.

I had my living room in my downtown house refinished. Other than accidentally setting off the alarm despite being given the alarm code they did an excellent job. In a few days, they restored the floor to what it probably originally looked like.

The only downside to hiring Guardian Flooring Advancements is the fact that we had to wait so long for them to show up to do the work. Believe me, the wait was well worth it and I wouldn't hire anyone else to do any type of flooring installation and/or repair other than Guardian Flooring Advancements. As the old adage goes, "if someone says they can get to your job right away, then they can't be any good, because there's a reason they're not busy!" Dave and his crew was punctual, courteous and professional in every regard and did an excellent job in cleaning up after their work was completed. Also, kudos to Dave's wife Kristen for keeping me informed of any schedule changes. Dave and his crew actually showed up a week earlier than originally scheduled!
