Description of Work: Amerestore is a highly professional, knowledgeable, helpful and compassionate group of people. From Mike, who I spoke by phone with on Sunday and Monday of July 4th weekend when our toilet overflowed, to Dustin who gave us an estimate and answered our homeowners insurance adjuster's questions, to Dustin and Brandon who did the actual clean/dry up work, we could not have been more pleased. Description of Work: Perhaps they do a good job with huge projects, but my project was pretty minor and was handled incompetently. (Carpeting that had been pulled up wasn't stretched and re-tacked for 9 weeks.) Worse, when I used their Customer Satisfaction Survey to clearly express my dissatisfaction in detail, I got no response from management.

They are checking for visual mold growth or mildew. They were punctual. This is the first time we've used this company. The estimate they gave was $1,300.
Description of Work: They will do damage control, structural drying and cleaning where the mold problem was. They are going to come back to set something up to make sure we don't have any more mold.

Please see my description above. In terms of cost, I paid my homeowner's insurance copay of $1,000, and the rest was covered by insurance. The carpet cleaning was a little over $300, initially I thought that was a little high, but it saved an area rug that I thought I'd have to replace.
Description of Work: I have one date in the review, but I called AmerRestore three times between Nov 2008 and June 2009. I had two separate incidents of pipes breaking in my house, one in November and one in December. The reps were completely professional, worked with my insurance agent, explained what the equipment would do, and were just plain friendly. The second water pipe break caused some pretty substantial damage, so I had to move in with family for four months while repairs were completed. My most recent call was to have the carpets cleaned of their construction dust, this month. The carpets look great, including an area rug that I thought was ruined.

When it came to getting the water out of the house, I think they did an excellent job. After that, it was all down hill. Every job that was done required call backs, including painting, tile, etc. Just didn't get what I asked for. Example: I needed molding replaced, that's the one day I wasn't home; they put new molding on. I told my husband that it was all done in pieces. When he came and checked it, it was done in Styrofoam. I had another company fix that for me. My issues weren't with Amerestore directly, as their work was fine, but the people they brought in for the other jobs were not good.

They arrived promptly (even though it was late on a week night). They provided dehumidifiers, thermal imaging, air movers scaffolding, water extraction, tear out of vinyl and sub floor and ceiling. They answered questions, but communication was not done very pro actively.
Description of Work: Drying services plus tear out and disposal of water damage caused by a faucet that leaked.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THIS COMPANY. THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT COMPARABLE WITH OTHER COMPANIES THAT OFFER THE SAME SERVICES. THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME AND ALWAYS VERY INFORMATIVE WITH WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO. THEY ALSO, KEPT ME IN THE LOOP WHEN THEY FOUND MORE MOLD THAN THEY THOUGHT AND HAD TO WORK LONGER THAN PLANNED. BECAUSE THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR SCOPE A LITTLE, THE PRICE WENT UP, BUT THEY WORKED WITH ME ON IT AND WERE VERY WILLING TO GIVE ME A GOOD DEAL. OVERALL, THE EXPERIENCE WITH MD RESTORATION WAS A GOOD ONE. I'D DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN, BUT HOPEFULLY I WON'T HAVE TO. :)
Description of Work: MD RESTORATION WHICH IS A SISTER COMPANY OF MSA RESTORATION, SPECIALIZES IN MOLD CONTAINMENT AND ELIMINATION. MOLD WAS FOUND IN MY BASEMENT IN 3 ROOMS. MD SETUP CONTAINMENT FOR THE ROOMS WITH THE MOLD, AND REMOVED THE DRYWALL, WOOD PANELING, AND CARPET THAT WAS CONTAMINATED. THEY ALSO, SET-UP AIR FILTERS IN THE AREAS THAT CLEANED THE MOLD OUT OF THE AIR. AFTER ALL THE MOLD WAS ELIMINATED THEY THOROUGHLY CLEANED ALL THE AREAS.

HE DID A WONDERFUL JOB AND WAS VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE FOR ALL MY CARPET CLEANING AND I WILL RECOMMEND THEM WHENEVER I CAN. THEY ARE A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER CARPET CLEANERS, BUT WORTH IT!! BESIDES CARPET CLEANING THIS COMPANY DOES RESTORATION FOR WATER DAMAGE, SEWER DAMAGE, AND MOLD CLEAN UP. THEY ALSO CLEAN UPHOLSTERY, LEATHER, AND TILE/GROUT CLEANING AND SEALING.
