I bought this for my mother. All I know is that she was not satisfied. I don't know if that was the vendor's fault or unrealistic expectations on my mother's part.

I used them for quite a while. There were no additional fees. I don't think the personnel were well-trained. At the end of the day, they did a "good enough" job.

We are selling our house so I wanted things like the baseboards wiped down, the cabinets wiped and the windows cleaned. I specifically listed what we wanted done and was told it was no problem. I paid extra to have the windows cleaned but one was missed in the master bedroom, 2 in the office and the glass near the from door was completely skipped. I found dust on the top rims of everything. The bathrooms looked pretty good and I was satisfied with he cleaning jobs in there except for the door frame and the top of the cabinets were not wiped down or dusted. The floors looked nice except the empty bedroom where someone clearly vacuumed half and then quit. The trim was cleaned in several places but large sections were missed. When I provided this feedback, I was told that they can only use a damp rag to clean the baseboards so they must be stained, I was able to clean them with a damp cloth, but I actually had to put the cloth on the trim, The cabinets in the kitchen look nice at a glance, but upon closer inspection, I found they were just wiped down with something shiny and not actually cleaned. The master bedroom was not dusted at all. The people on the phones were very nice and professional. The office manager got a little terse when she said we had scheduled them for every other Friday and I said that I had told her in our initial conservation that I would let her know when I wanted them to come back. They were originally scheduled to be there at 12:30 but called and said they would be there at 2;30 instead. I said no problem. Over all, it was a poor cleaning job and I will not use them again. When I provided feedback, they did not offer to come back and correct everything. The office manager sounded defensive and said she had checked it herself.

We typically do a spring cleaning before Easter and have used different housecleaning services in the past. We decided to use an Angie's Deal for our 2014 cleaning and landed with The Maids. This was an incredibly disappointing service. It was a late afternoon appointment and my husband was at home while they worked. Our bathroom was left unfinished with cleaner remaining on all sides of our shower walls. A fragrance wax warmer was bumped in the guest bath and we were left with a large amount of wax on the walls. They didn't touch the living room until my husband pointed out they hadn't gone in there yet. They didn't dust until he requested it. The company did offer to come back and fix the mistakes, but we had already gone around the house and cleaned what was missed because we had house-guests coming.

The Maids of West Central Indiana did an okay job,and they were professional but i did not feel like their vacuum was adequate to pick up the dog care.

It was okay. I was really pleased with somethings and not pleased with others.

I purchased 2 Big Deals through Angie's List as I wanted to make sure they were able to get to everything that we needed done since this was a Move-In cleaning for my new house that I had just purchased. The provider contacted me the same day I purchased the deals and scheduled the service. They were very responsive and I appreciated their attention to detail. They asked if I had any special requests, which I did, and they were able to perform the job and exceed my expectations! This was my first home buying experience and they were able to add the excitement of moving into a clean home to call our own! I would highly recommend The Maids of West Central Indiana for anyone needing a house cleaner, and would definitely use them again in the future !

A team of 3 showed up early and spent an hour cleaning and scrubbing. It was wonderful when they were done!

Well, the first experience is the last experience with this company. My first clue this was a mistake should have been when I called to schedule the appointment. The lady was very short on the phone and took a lot of phone tag after the package was purchased to secure the date & time I needed them at the house to clean. The first set of cleaners came out and spent less than 4 hours on the house when I paid for 4 hours. I was promised an empty house of my size would only require 3 hours (already purchased 4 hours) so there was no good way to get my money back for the last hour. The crew arrived late, they all looked mad to be there. The leader of the group was walked through the list of items I wanted detailed cleaning on and other rooms that needed a light dust and vacuum. The girls' did not do any of what I asked even though each room was specifically detailed and I was promised and assured by the leader that this is WHAT they do on every house clean (i.e. clean the ledges of windows, clean the oven, clean in and around the microwave, detail cleaning of cabinets & drawers, etc). After the girls' had been there for about 3 hours the leader came to me as the other girls ran out the door loading all of their cleaning items in their car and said they were done. She asked if I could walk thru and inspect the job. So as we started walking thru not one room was completed top to bottom the way they said it would be. For instance, the bathrooms the mirrors were cleaned but the light fixture above it would be caked in dust. The kitchen wasn't even close to detailed clean as there was debris everywhere in corners and stuck on the microwave/oven doors and racks. As we started going thru the house the leader became very agitated with me and screamed out the front door for the girls to get back inside with all their cleaning tools. Each girl was less than thrilled to come back in as they all gave me dirty looks and would not speak to me when I asked them questions. We were now approaching the 4 hour mark and they stopped in there tracks and said if you want us to keep cleaning you have to pay us more money. I immediately called their boss and she said they had other jobs to do and would not be able to finish the job that day. The girls left immediately. The boss called me later and arranged for a different team to come back the next day and finish the job to my satisfaction. However, the next group of girls' were also late on the job by 20minutes saying they couldn't find my house. When the arrived they wanted to know all the problems from the day before, I explained what was missed and proceeded the leader decided to complain about how they are always cleaning up after the first groups messes and were really tired of having to do that. I walked the leader and the other two girls through the house pointing out my expectations, however, these girls' also did about the same job as the prior group. Once again the leader starting complaining to me about how these girls' are new and don't understand everything I explained to them from the beginning. The best part was when they still hadn't finished the job correctly, the leader asked if it was good enough because they were all hungry and needed to get some lunch before the next job. At that point I asked them to leave, as they had no intention of doing what I asked. I am highly disappointed and I would never recommend these people to anyone.

Purchased the 4 hour deal and they came out and cleaned my 1200ft home. Job was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Would use again.

It went very well. There was a little bit of difficulty scheduling the service because we weren’t available to take their call, and we had to call them back. They came in and worked very quickly. We have a nice sized house and she was able to do all the floors within an hour. They got a lot done in the hour and a half that they were here.

The Maids were very professional and accommodating when we schedule our two appointments. The issues were that we had to reschedule our original appointment for the next day due to a scheduling error. The second appointment was pushed back two hours because of the appointment ahead of me ran over we did receive a phone call informing us of the change. That was a nice touch. Cleaning job that was done was AweSome! The Maids really paid attention to details and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

They showed up a bit late. They did a very good job of cleaning our house. There was some discrepancy with "way the coupon was written" so they charged me extra for staying longer and finishing the job. Basically I was ok that they had to stay longer and agreed to pay additional money. Above all I will use them again because they did a great job of cleaning. In fact I have already entered into a monthly service with them.

When I first booked the appointment, the cleaners arrived a bit early (a team of three) but that was alright as I was already home. They were polite and worked quickly, however they finished up before the time I paid for had run out, and hadn't completed all the tasks I asked for. I was offered to purchase an additional 1/2 hour so they could finish but I declined. They had me walk through the house with them and it seemed fine, however when I was able to look at the master bathroom in the daylight there were some issues such as the tub still had a ring in it and the floor hadn't be vacuumed. This combined with the time confusion prompted me to reach out to the company to see if they would fix it and they responded wonderfully! They immediately set up a new time for them to come out and clean and the second team of cleaners wanted to know anything I needed done and didn't even tell me a time-frame. Their second cleaning was very thorough and the two young men were very polite and personable. Overall I ended up being very pleased with the service by their willingness to fix any issues.

The house cleaning was ok but the cleaners were not careful and there was a lot of banging and clanging. I found a dent in the wall later that I didn't recall being there prior to the cleaning.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They came out within a couple of weeks after purchase. There were no additional charges. They were easy to contact and schedule. They did a really good job cleaning. I would definitely hire them again; I would not hesitate at all.

We were satisfied and thought we were setup on a bi-weekly schedule, but apparently the communication was crossed. We will consider using again in the future.

3 individuals arrived to clean our home. Although somewhat late in arriving, we had been notified ahead of time by phone that they were a little behind schedule. All cleaning supplies were provided by the service. Impressed with cleaning on hands and knees where indicated. Not only swept the floors and carpets, but paid special attention to the edges of the carpet and flooring where dirt freely collects and is usually not addressed by cleaning services. Special touches: Signs placed in all bathrooms stating they had been disinfected. Toilet paper triangularly folded on the roll. Washcloths triangularly folded when placed back on the towel rack. Trash was collected from all rooms, placed in their own trash bag and put in the location where I told them to put it. Although all members of the cleaning staff were quite young, all worked very consistently and very hard leaving us a home that smelled great and looked terrific!

Coupon for $89 for four hours of cleaning. Excellent job. Would definitely recommend. I am continuing to use them.

They were awesome. They drove quite a ways to get to my house. They worked around my complicated schedule, in an emergency, they fit me in to there schedule on short notice and were very kind. The girls did an amazing job on my house. I was so pleased! |

I was excited for The Maids to do the move-in cleaning for our new house as the old owners had not been very good housekeepers and I was not looking forward to cleaning it. I hired The Maids for 3 hours (so 4 people for 3 hours); the cost was excellent, only $267 for 12 working hours. However, the quality left much to be desired. I made clear that I wanted all cat hair removed from all surfaces, including the walls where they could reach, as my family is allergic to cats and my daughter is asthmatic. There was still cat hair all over the walls and carpet on the stairs after their cleaning. I had to go around with a Swiffer to clean the cat hair (so I know that it would have been very easy for them to remove). Also, they said that they would wipe out all kitchen cabinets - we found many cabinets with crumbs, twist ties, rings from old glasses, etc., so I was not happy with that part of the cleaning. They said that the bathrooms had been cleaned and disinfected, but when we checked the upstairs toilet, the toilet bowl was filthy. We cleaned it with The Works and it came right out, not sure that they even tried to clean the toilet bowl. All in all, I was not happy with the cleaning because they claimed that "they would do everything" and that I wouldn't have to clean afterwards. I spent a LOT of time cleaning (and recleaning) afterwards. I would not hire them again.
