Initially they bent over backwards to get the service started. It took almost a month to get the telephone transferred. Once they got it installed, you could't get any help from customer service. I finally cancelled with them and went back to my old service provider.

We set up internet installation in early July for 8/4. On that date we were called and told that the infrastructure was not in place for our installation, but were promised an update later that day with installation either on the following day (Saturday) or Monday. To make a long story short, We called Metronet every day for 5 days requesting an update and received the same response every time - I will send an email to supervisor Dan Roth and get back to you later today. When we finally did meet Dan Roth it was not because he came to our home or called us with an update, it was because my husband ran into him in the neighborhood. He did not apologize, nor did he offer any form of compensation for our trouble. Two weeks later Metronet scheduled another installation appointment, only for the tech to discover that the infrastructure still was not in place. My husband drove to the Metronet office in Westfield and was given the same response - I will send an email to Dan Roth. Enough is enough. I called xfinity and had internet service within 36 hours.

We liked them. They're expensive. They're just like any other cable company only they do it different and hook your stuff up different. We're keeping them.

It's been some time since it was installed, but as far as I remember the installation went fine. We use both phone and internet service. We have had no problems with the phone service. It is cheap and totally reliable, with many useful features. The internet has gone down on rare occasions, but for the most part is very reliable. I would recommend both services.

The install went well. The installer was very professional and punctual. He did a great job installing the lines, no mess left, explained what he was doing and ensured everything was in complete working order before leaving our home. The monthly services are great clear IPTV signal/channels along with HD, excellent DVR services and ever growing OnDemand Menu. Internet services are true speeds (as advertised) with no lag that we've experienced. Rarely do we ever lose television or internet with Metronet. Typically it is more to do with a line being severed or extreme weather but it is again very rare. As for price well it initially was far below the competitors for similar packages. Now they're still below in average pricing but catching up to the competitors. Which saddens me because I don't want to drop it but may have to if the push keeps going. Overall if you're in an area they service (yes this is a drawback, they only service a few areas currently) I would recommend checking them out for sure! :) We've been customers for about 2 or 3 years now.

Can't remember why we needed service. We can have internet even when the electricity is out, just need to make sure our laptop battery has a full charge. They're a good company to deal with.

Our Internet service was very seldom down! It ran strong, fast and fine almost all the time. And I don't think our phone service was ever down. We did have problems with the Internet once, and we called the help line. They took a few steps and determined it was a problem with our router, so the took the next 20 minutes helping us figure out what was wrong with our router!!!! I wish everyone could have an Internet/phone/cable company like Cinergymetro!

The service has been really reliable. I have been with them for over a year and half. I am happy with them.

It's a good value. My service is hardly every down. I live in a small town, and we never lose phone service or internet. The computer is very fast. They are the only ones I will use. I am really pleased.
