CRADY FENCE CO

Spoke with the owner on the phone and he was rude and unprofessional. Did not even attempt to care about me as a customer. I guess he doesn't need customers. Complete JERK. Do not recommend this company.

When I first contacted Crady's, I thought they were a good choice. Norm seemed knowledgeable and his quote was better than a few others I had contacted. I reviewed other companies and wanted to go with Crady's so I called them back. The City told me I needed to have a vinyl coated fence as I was in the Airport Redevelopment Zone so I called Norm back. That is when things got strange. Norm told me that there was a price difference in colors. That was not the case with other Companies. A bottom wire was extra, which other companies provided. No mention of a Permit, yet other Companies had that priced into their quote. When I called Norm this morning to confront him about the discrepancies, he could not remember talking with me yesterday about the job. No mention of a contract or anyone coming out to do a site review. His initial Low estimate all of a sudden was up to the same of another company that came out, did measurements, provided a written proposal and explained their policies and how the job would be done. Norm did not offer any of those services nor did he seem really interested. He said he is busy which is why he changed his prices, maybe to discourage me from having him do the work. Well, he surely did that. I was not impressed with the fact that he came in with a lower price to do the job, then once I showed an interest, the price went up every time we spoke. I felt it was like a "bait and switch" situation, something I am not about to get involved with. Other reviews seem to present him in a much better light, maybe I just caught him at a bad time. What ever the reason, his inconsistency in how he established his price, the lack of a contract and no one coming to the site to get specific measurements did not impress me. Others may have been satisfied, I chose to look else where for the work I needed to have done.

Crady came out the day I called to take measurements and discuss what we wanted. A few hours later we received a quote over the phone. They do not provide written estimates. We accepted the estimate and installation and installation started two weeks later. Due to rain, it was completed the following week. I would have liked an emailed or written estimate. Otherwise, it all went great!

The provider came out as promised. Did the work in a few hours and was very professional and courteous. Cleaned up and left the area as it was to begin with. Price was very reasonable , especially since I am retired and on a fixed income. I will most definitely use again and will recommend to my friends, family and associates. Nice job Norm !!!

They were easy to talk to. They came out when they said they would. They were easy to contact.

I only received an estimate and did not contract with Crady for the actual work.

Made a call and the owner answered the phone which I like considering in this day and age you always seem to get either vm or an answering machine. He was able to come by the house without me being there and he called back with an estimate. The only minor issue was that he didn't get back to me as soon as he had stated he would but I do believe it was due to a lot of rain. Once he was able to get to my house everything went very smoothly. He called with an estimate, we agreed on a price. He gave me an estimated date for the fence to be installed, he then called to confirm the exact date and it was a go. The workers showed up on time, they were polite, the were efficient and I was very pleased. I would defintely call them again and based on my experience would not hesitate to recommend them. The price was more than fair considering I had received ridiculous estimates in the past. The workmen were wonderful. They made sure that there were no gaps at the bottom of the fence as my dogs are little yorkies and they wanted to make sure that they would not get out. The lowered an existing gate to prevent yorkie escape and patched a gap to my neighbors fence. GREAT JOB!!!! Very pleased.
