custom cabinets
+ -1 moreThe process could not have gone smoother. The cabinets were all ready in 6 weeks. I was told my delivery would arrive May 6 at 9:30 am and it did. Everyone I worked with was extremely cordial and polite. I recommend anyone thinking of ordering cabinets to please take a trip to Graber before committing to anyone else. Seeing the beauty of northeast Indiana is also worth a visit. It is probably the prettiest area I had ever seen in Indiana.
Description of Work: I had cherry cabinets made for the master bathroom, the kids bathroom, a base for the laundryroom , a cabinet for above the base, an upper cabinet for above the washer and dryer and a linen cabinet.i was provided with extra stain, finish and a stick for scratches and dents. cabinets come with silent door and drawer closers, other companies charge extra. the drawers are all solid dovetail in maple. i designed the size and shape. This company allows you to do this. There is no one standard at Graber.Graber had enough drawer styles that i could easily select without upgrading. I also was able to select the stain without raising the price ridiculously. It is well worth the trip to Grabill outside of Fort Wayne. I previously remodeled a ktchen, where you receive an estimate from a contractor . these estimates apply to nothing in particular. This time I am remodeling three bathrooms and a laundry room. I selected all my materials myself. I have hired someone to install my selections. That is why I used Graber Cabinets. They sell directly to the consumer and I had control of the price. I knew what I was buying. The sides are 3/4 inch plywood and of course veneered in cherry. The quality surpasses anything I had seen in any cabinets at Lowes or the specialty kitchen and bath remodeling shops. I have learned a great deal about the entire process. In fact one time when I visited Graber Cabinets I was given a tour of the entire factory. It was worth every penny. The craftmanship is outstanding. I would not hesitate to use Graber again and recommend them to my friends and acquaintances. just outstanding work!!!!!

+ -1 moreThis company is producing very excellent custom cabinets, and can provide a lot of suggestions and response to unusual requests.They are definitively not for those looking for a cheap solution. That being said, they were very responsive, provided a lot of hand holding, gave me much phone time and I am very pleased. I visited their facility in Grabill Indiana. Spent an afternoon with Chris Graber and several hours with the primary layout person solving issues and making final decisions. I can still always reach someone by phone if needed.They still help with small additional items and add-ons. Quality control was excellent. Everything arrived well protected and organized. They did not install themselves, but recommended an installer that they sometimes use who lives within 2 hours of DC. He and his assistant are fantastic and efficient.
Description of Work: Helped complete designs and then manufactured kitchen cabinets, then delivered from Indiana to Wash DC

custom cabinets
+ -1 moreI talked to Chris Graber about what kind of cabinets that I wanted. He held on to my money for over a year and we found out that he was not making my cabinets on site, but off site in a garage. It's not worth the money that I put into this kitchen. He is not a trustworthy person, he presents himself as a professional but he is not. He made the cabinets exactly the way he wanted to and didn't consult me on the way I wanted them. I would never recommend them to anyone and they didn't try to make the situation right for me or work for me in the end.
Description of Work: I was having cabinets made by him. The contract was signed in February and I didn't get the cabinets until April of this year.
