Description of Work: The man from Thermostat came to my house to try to help me find out why one room in my house was always hotter (in the summer) than the rest of the house. He checked out everything with a thermal gauge and by looking all over my house, in the crawlspace & attic and by asking me questions about when the house was built, etc. He was extremely professional, friendly and competent. The problem was found but a carpenter needed to fix it. I really felt like he understood what he was doing and was sympathetic with my financial situation. I would have him back anytime to service my HVAC system. In fact, I intend to call him for my yearly maintenance and would recommend him.

+ -1 moreIt is a one-man company owned and operated by Jason Wright. Jason came highly recommended by others who had used him for putting in systems in high performance homes in terms of energy efficiency. He was absolutely amazing to work with. He is extremely detailed oriented and does a lot of analysis work to make sure that the systems that he designs and puts in your home meets the needs of your house in terms of how it is going to perform. He does all the installation work himself and he does a beautiful job of installation. He is very reasonably priced concerning he puts in high quality components. After installation he makes sure it is balanced correctly and that it is working the way it should for your home. We would definitely use him again.
Description of Work: Thermostat Mechanical is our HVAC contractor. He designed and installed a heating and air conditioning system. It included a heat pump, air handler and an energy recovery ventilator to provide fresh air for a tightly constructed well-insulated home.
