Bob's Furniture Hospital

Since Doctor Bob was so busy we told him to work on our table when he could and that we were not in a hurry for it. He manage to fit in time here and there working on it in stages and finished it in about 7 weeks, which was a little before he had told us that we could expect it back. He did his magic and it turned out wonderfully. We are very please with its rebirth. You just have to look at the before pictures and then at the after pictures to see the transformation and the pictures do NOT really tell the whole story either. You really have to see it in person and touch and handle it to understand just how well the job turned out. It's now a very sturdy table with all its component parts present. Doctor Bob fabricated two new end carved skirts to match the side skirts and filled in the saw damage and refinished the table into a beautiful piece that we can enjoy again. He succeeded in making this table almost as beautiful as it used to be. He really did exceed our expectations.

Everything is excellent. He was ontime, reasonable and very knowledgable. Extremely satisfied and highly recommend him anyone.

We were very happy with the correspondence we had with Bob by email. He immediately understood our disappointment with the way our furniture had been handled by the first guy. His estimate was reasonable and the bill was just as he had said. Bob also volunteered to deliver our table and chairs to us when my husband couldn't get them picked up by Thanksgiving. I submitted my plans to Bob via email. We talked about what I wanted and then I stopped by to see the materials and to further discuss options, time frame and price. I made a few small changes and he suggested a couple which I saw the wisdom of so incorporated those as well. Then I left him alone. He produced my cabinets on time and they couldn't be better.

Excellent & faster than expected

He is pleasant to deal with, he was quick, did a great job, and we are very satisfied.

Repair of a full-size rocking chair and a child's rocking chair. The arms on the child's chair were gone so he tooled new ones and stained them to match. Both pieces were excellent and we recommend him highly.

The work was absolutely fantastic. He is a really warm hearted, friendly man.

The work went very well. The chair has wheels on it. He did research and found a reference to buy new wheels for the bottom of the chairs. He went above and beyond for us. I felt the price was fair.

Bob the Furniture Hospital person and Ron the Chemist and furniture finish person. Each have decades of experience repairing and refinishing fine quality office furniture. We learned this when we saw Bob's small road side sign. We stopped to see if he does the type of work we needed done to restore our 20 year old dining chairs. Bob introduced us to his friend Ron. Who lives a couple miles away down the road & does wood finishing work. In talking with them about their backgrounds and about what they do daily in their respective shops. They gained our trust. Their price was modest, they kept their word to complete the work in just 3 weeks. The quality of their work is outstanding. The chairs are like New !

Very responsive, demonstrated professionalism, competitively priced, obviously much experience. Table leaf did not match exactly but was a good match and acceptable. Would recommend to others

I called and made sure of his house.He was there when he told me, he reviewed the problem and was quick with his estimate. Polite and gracious, nice to work with. Gave me a time frame of one week with possibility it could be sooner.He called when it was completed, prior to promise time.

Everything was outstanding from start to finish. This is the second antique piece restored. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

Wash stand was in bad condition because of use and abuse. Animals had scratched and pieces had fallen off. It looked like junk. Bob did a beautiful job repairing/refinihsing to again have it a beautiful treasure.

I have been extremely impressed with the quality of their work, the prices that they have charged and their excellent customer service.
