Description of Work: Bob repaired and refinished two pieces for us this time: antique dough table and antique church pew. Bob always does excellent, quality work. He knows what he's doing! Although it sometimes takes awhile, and his custom work is not cheap, both are well worth it. Bob has built 8 pieces of furniture for us and refinished numerous other pieces--all have been beautiful. We have been and will continue to recommend Bob to friends and family. | |

 + -1 moreNeither of these were very involved jobs but were jobs that required talent, experience and attention to detail. He has been doing this for 40 years so has a very long list of suppliers that is critical to finding the correct part to accomplish a job correctly on an antique - like obtaining a lock that fits and matches the style of an antique. He also has the talent to make a patch on a broken back of an antique oak library chair that save it from the fire place and restored most of it beauty and all of it function. Add to all of that his personality that is like a gentle grandfather and you've got a real old fashion winner.
Description of Work: Installed a lock on an delicate antique display case and repaired the back of an antique oak library chair.
