Precise Remodeling

James and his crew built a beautiful composite deck for us. His knowledge and expertise was invaluable during the planning phase and his attention to detail is something you don’t see a lot of these days. He did not rush the project and made sure the work quality was top notch. For future projects, I will be calling James for sure!

James and his crew removed the decking and rebuilt our huge wood deck, brought it to code, reinforced it for a hot tub and worked diligently on creating a remedy for a water leakage issue our home suffered from due to unusual construction, (we have a double a-frame). They were always punctual, incredibly polite and James kept me very informed along the entire way. He even removed a stray bat that had found its way into our home! This was a tremendously huge project and it took 4+ weeks, with the guys working in the heat of the summer. Our home sits on a steep hillside so the deck is high off the ground and our water leakage issues were a mystery to figure out. In other words, this was not an easy project. Yet James remained gracious and diligent and his trust in his crew was not misplaced. James is a problem-solver. I was amazed out how well and quickly they cleaned up the large area outside! James worked with me to create a beautiful handrail. He showed me examples of options and was always very up front with pricing. He staged his payouts in increments along the way so that made it easy for me. Due to his level of expertise, commitment, professionalism and kindness I would recommend him for any type of home remodeling project!

The crew was amazing! They worked incredibly fast. Kept the work area clean. Didn't mind having our dog around. And are all very nice people. We couldn't be happier with the results! We will definitely call them again. (Probably to put a roof on the deck).

Service provided was top notch

Precise showed up on time and completed the job within the two time frame that we had decided upon. The workers started on the specified day and the project was expected to last about one to two weeks total and the work was completed on time. A couple of days were missed when the crew was scheduled off. The tile work is exceptional, just like it was on the previous two bathrooms that Precise completed for me. James Smallwood, the owner, is easy to work with. My only complaint (and the reason that this review is rated a B instead of an A) is that there are two small items that need to be corrected--one of the door trim pieces was cut too short and the electrical outlet plug is not flush with the wall (it slants).
