Painted whole house -- used Painters Edge (contractor grade paint) -- even though we asked for a durable/washable that would wear well for a family with children (other painters we have said this to always chose Cashmere at Sherwin Williams-- with same description of what we wanted) -- after much recent research with other professional painters and calling various Sherwin Williams paint companies (both local and not), I have found this paint is just ok -- not used by anyone other painter I asked though (but used by builders cause of discount price and easy to touch up) === However this is preferred paint for Bean and Sons and Sherwin Williams says its ok--- but its not what we asked for. I asked Sherwin Williams if someone comes in and asks for a mid grade paint to use in a house with children where I will need to wash walls what would you suggest? They would suggest Cashmere or Emerald. When I said what paint was used (Painters Edge) -- they (two of the local places here) guessed the contractor even before I told them who it was. I guess they buy and paint with this a lot. So, in addition to it not being the paint we were thinking it would be, the paint is peeling off the wall in areas. One is a spot in my sons room where we have removed an NFL Fat Head. It peeled the paint right off. This has never happened before. The paint store (all 7 of them---Sherwin Williams) said it is most likely not their paint, but the prep work of painters. I am not sure what prep work was or was not done. Bean is scheduled to be out here to remedy or do touch up this week. I am assuming they will not re-paint my entire house with the quality paint I asked for, so I assume we will have touch ups done. Not sure-- appointment is pending for this week. In addition to those two items, there are many drips on wood trim that we did not notice after job was completed. We did walk around and I did not do a diligent enough job of looking at every edge or front of trim, so once we were in home and settled and less distracted with the whole move process, I noticed so much of our wood trim has paint drippings and splashes. I am not ultra picky and I can live with it, but not what I would expect from professionals or for a job we paid this much for. Not sure If I will be able to add to this review after that is done, but as of today--- this is where it stands and that is my review of today. I will make mention that when I called -- Bean did send out someone to look at work, I waited more than 3 weeks and finally called cause I had not heard from them. (as of this week March 2, 2014) He said it was reported that paint was coming off from tape on wall , I explained that tape was not on all the spots its peeling, so I have hope that this will be resolved and remedied, its just not been easy or like any other paint job we have had done. luckily, our deck was not done in that line of paint as it was deck paint-- I am so glad that paint line was not option for that!! That seems to be holding ok a few spots are fading, but I will attribute that to this deck being fairly old and not in the best shape to begin with.... So - final word is job will be done, you may have to monitor a lot (I left out part where colors were switched and cans not labeled correctly) -- my boys ended up in a different bedroom than we wanted because that's the color they put in there) we didn't even say anything about that-- cause it was pretty far in to it when we noticed..... did same thing to laundry room, but I caught that in time and they fixed it... they were very eager to fix that and make right.................. as I do think they care and --- but just little things like that need to be monitored...... (if allowed to update after fixes I will do that, but as I said earlier, as of today-- this is my review) ---------------------------------

It went very well. They are polite, prompt, and work quickly. We have had no issues. We have used them for every indoor and outdoor painting job for the past 8 years.
