Warweg & Co., Inc.

We received a letter stating we need to have our backflow system tested, so we contacting Warweg & Co Inc. to schedule an appointment to get this done. We didn't plan on turning out irrigation system on this year because of the rain we were expecting, but found out that they would have to turn on our system to have this test done. They informed me that I would have to pay for both the system to be check as well as the backflow test. That makes sense so no issue there. What I thought was going to be $75 turned into $145, and that was fine with me. If it has to be done, it has to be done and I have no issue with that at all. I sent Warweg & Co Inc. a message on AL and within 30min Cindy sent me a message back and asked me to call. She was helpful and willing to answer questions. She wasn't pushing or rude. I really appreciated their willingness to come out as soon as possible and to fill out the paper work for the county as well. We will gladly be using their services in the future and appreciate their work. We found our irrigation company for everything going forward.

I went to Warweg on the recommendation of several neighbors who had used him to install similar systems at therir homes and were very pleased. Installation of these systems is very weather dependent so the schedule had to be adjusted a few times, However, they kept me informed when such changes had to be made. Chad Warweg made a sketch of the area with the sprinkler heads he planned to use. He spent quite bit of time explaining the logic he used in pick the right heads and zoning for the various areas I wanted to cover. He also explained any options (i.e. automatic adjustments for recent rain conditions, etc.). His was not the least expensive proposal but I felt more comfortable with his expertise and the recommendations I'd received. It took a crew of three men two days to complete the installation. All three were very polite and helpful with the many questions I had during the installation.

We met with the owner. He came out and he looked at what we had. He made a couple of recommendations. It was very good. They showed up on time. They got it done in a day. It was a long day for them working. They cleaned up everything. The line that they put under the ground, we couldn't even tell. It was very professionally done. It was very well done. We went online and saw them on Angie's List.

He was the contractor that did our snow removal. I got to know him through that. He was very responsive to our needs for that. His employees do the snow removal for our streets, driveways and sidewalks. They are courteous and helpful. I had them come out and give an estimate as it seemed like a good company. Then I had him install it. We use them now to turn it off and on in the spring time. They come out and turn it off and get the lines all cleared. Then they turn it on, check all the sprinkler heads and make sure that they are working right.

We had a great experience with Warweg from the initial meeting to the install. The crew was very professional and did an outstanding job at minimal damage to the yard during the install. I felt like Chad did a great job recommending a top of the line system that will last us and the home for many years to come. I'd return to them for any future service and highly recommend them.

Chad and his crew were great. Chad was on-time, professional and knowledgeable when designing the system and developing the cost proposal. They kept us updated on the start time and started work when they said. The crew did a great job, performed a clean installation and took extra care not to damage the yard anymore than required. They even placed the extra dirt from digging the valve boxes along the edge of our concrete driveway that had been recently poured. That probably saved us a couple hours work.....They took the time to show us how the system worked and made sure it was running correctly before leaving. About a week after the installation, we realized 2 sprinklers were going to be a problem with some future landscaping. We called Chad and he had his crew come back and move the sprinklers for free. Great service. Overall, great installation and great system. We would definitely use these guys again.

I contacted Warweg in early May and Chad Warweg, the owner, was very prompt in contacting me to schedule an estimate. He showed up as expected looked over my yard, wrote up the estimate on the spot, and then covered all the fundamental basics of the 2 options for systems they offered with the pros and cons. I did contact 2 other vendors for estimates but could only get one other to actually come and give me an estimate. Both estimates were close, but Warweg's was slightly cheaper, but I was sold on Chad ands well as the Hunter irrigation system and heads. I also did my own online research between Hunter and Rainbird. Chad was upfront and said he was about 6 weeks out on installs. It took me a couple of weeks to decide, but Chad was spot on w=as it was right at 6 weeks from when I notified them to when they showed up to install Before installing, Chad came back again to walk me thru where things would be located, dug, etc... and it allowed me to make few minor changes to fit my wishes. As for the install it took 3 days, but only 2 working days due to poor weather. Warweg was very careful and meticulous in digging up the yard and returning it to the condition they found it. There is some minor scarring of the lawn when they use the vibratory plow to bury the pipes, but in the 2 weeks we've had the system, the grass is getting back to green, so a minor inconvenience, but of course, Chad disclosed this upfront. The only issue we had was when the marked our property, the underground utility locator service did not mark our Comcast line and unfortunately Warweg cut unknowingly. They also accidently snapped a marked line too, but Chad called me immediately to notify me and took full responsibility to fix it. It was an inconvenience, BUT all in all I couldn't blame Warweg for the problems I had in dealing with Comcast. My experience with Chad and his company has been nothing short of excellent, and I would highly recommend them. Chad knows his irrigation systems, is easy to deal with and is a professional!

This is not the first "bum steer" that I have had in dealing with Angies List and I think this company does not do a very good of screening its members nor do they make much of an attempt to rectify problems with member services. I will soon be severing any and all contact and subscriptions with Angies List and forthwith do everything in my small power to alert any unsuspecting potential customers about this company's inept performance.

I have worked with Warweg now for I cannot believe must be 10 years.....I cannot say enough positive about this "bigger" smaller company! Scott Rees - AMAZING TERRIFIC man who literally remembers each and every "zone" of my yards each and every year - for the longest time I thought he was the companies owner! Scott has managed my properties as long as I've been with Warweg - he will go above and BEYOND to service the properties - he will dig until you can only see the whites of his eyes to find a leak in a line, he will work with you tirelessly to "re-zone" a zone in order to assure something is getting watered, and he will answer your calls anytime you call him to ask the craziest of questions. Scott has replaced a head on the side of my main residence driveway now since 2007 - he has not once said a word about it until today when I said "hmmmm I think I run over that head when I back out of the garage" and he as his typical shy polite ever so kind self simply "giggled" and said "I wouldn't know - I think that one just pops off every season" - hilarious! Amy in the office - FANTASTIC! Everytime I've had a billing issue/question - she is responsive within hours. Scott will simply work with you on anything - that is what I love about this company - I get the "SAME" technician every year (I consider him a part of the family now) and they also treat you as family. The company works hard to keep their pricing "fair". I have now hired them to come and meander through the landscape lighting - If you want an honest, "local" good group of people to work with - give Warweg a shout......they are fabulous and one of the only companies that will "get in the water" for you - by this I mean Scott will get in the water with a submergible pump under a boat dock with spiders and fish just to make sure "WE WATER GRASS" - now that is service!!!!!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and we have not had any problems so it was fine.

Things went great. Contacted through Angie's List with an immediate response and appointment set. Completed work within time frame requested.

They did a very good job. They were very polite and efficient. Got in and got the job done. We use them each year for opening and closing.

We had Warweg install a sprinkler system last year and everything went well. They opened my system this year and just closed it again. They make everything so easy with their scheduling system.

They did a good job. They ran into a problem while making the installation. They found they could not go the direction they had planned to. They ended up with about $1,500 of additional labor and materials. They did not come to me asking for the additional charge. However, I insisted that I pay for the fees as this was a situation that could not be predicted. It was a good experience with the company.

The visit went well. Some extra repairs we we required due to damage incurred during a recent fence installation project.

We had paid for a mid season inspection ahead of time as part of our summer contract. Jeff arrived and spent the necessary time to evaulate all the sprinkler heads and determine which were effective and which were not. He then made a recommendation to replace quite a few of the sprinkler heads some of which weren't working and some which were just ineffective. He completed the work after he made the recommendation, and I authorized him to complete it. I noted the coverage was much improved after he completed the job, however, we did still have a couple of new heads which did not seem to be doing a good job. I called Warwegs and they sent Jeff back out yesterday to correct the problem.The cost of the service noted includes the inspection of the sprinkler system and the replacement of the heads needed.I felt Jeff took the time to properly evaluate everything and was knowlegeable about what he was doing. I feel I can confidently use Warwegs to maintain my system.

Their service is excellent. They are always on time, prompt, and professional. We continued to use their service because we were so happy. They do a great job. They also have good internet presence. You can pay over the internet. I have nothing but great things to say about their service.

I called Warweg who is our regular irrigation company. The trench was open as the landscaper was still working on it and they showed up within an hour. They were able to not only take a look at the situation, but fix and replace parts of the system that were broken or needed replacing. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with Warweg's service. The front office called and asked if someone in the field could come by and take a look at our situation. Not only did they take a look, they stayed for over an hour and fixed everything and even came back the next day to make sure everything was working properly!

The overall experience and professionalism scores suffered due to the following situation: The technician that turned on my system harassed me via text messages for a week after completing the initial service in 2012. I contacted the office via email regarding the situation, requested that the technician to never return to my home, and blocked the technician's phone number to prevent additional messages. Amy (the office manager) was very responsive and immediately called me regarding my email. She seemed to care that there was an issue and discussed it with me. However, I felt that my privacy was violated because the technician used his personal phone to contact me by the information on file with the company. I also offered to show my phone to the owner/technician manager for them to review the text messages, but they did not follow-up with interest in seeing it. Aside from the incident listed above, it should be noted that Amy (the office manager) was always very professional and went above and beyond to help with scheduling. She genuinely cares about her job and the company, and that should be acknowledged in a positive way. She made sure that a different technician was sent to my home for the shut down and I appreciate that effort. However, I had to pay for a home service that changed my life in a very negative way. I hired a different company for the following year's service.

Installation went well except for couple things. The cable wire was cut but after a couple of chance the line was replaced and service was restored. The yard was cut up pretty bad during installation. One sprinkler head needed to be adjusted but Warweg took care of it immediately.

They are knowledgeable and are good communicators. They are a very good company.

Warweg is professional, organized and prompt. They send a postcard telling when the work will be performed and what will be done and it is completed on schedule.

Good service, great pricing. Did the same job as other irrigation services for literally half the price. Very satisfied.

My first experience with Warweg came as a result of purchasing a Big Deal on Angie's List. I live north of town & Warweg is located south of town, so I was a little worried that getting them to service my system promptly might be difficult. This has not turned out to be the case. The folks at Warweg are very responsive & knowledgeable. Scott is the gentleman who typically performs the service. He is always happy to answer questions & pleasant to deal with. I also think Warweg's prices are very reasonable. I would recommend Warweg to anyone who needs service or maintenance of their residential irrigation system.
