RG CONSTRUCTION

Randy and his partner Dave were a sub-contract team hired by Godwin Homes to install fiber cement siding on our home this summer. While they were there we mentioned that we were going to be looking to finish the ceiling of our outdoor patio room and Randy agreed to bid on it. He submitted a verbal estimate of $300 plus materials (expecting materials to be around $100). He also agreed he could complete the work by the end of the week. I had to leave for a business trip and my wife was home by herself. They did complete the work by weeks end and presented the final invoice to my wife which was for $731.03!! They never got our approval to overspend by this much and my fault for not agreeing to have them put their estimate in writing. I attempted to call Randy for 2 weeks after this event and he never returned my call. Finally I got a call from his partner Dave who felt embarrassed that this is how Randy chose to conduct business. To top it off, the electrical switch they installed has never worked and I can't get anyone to return my call (his voice mail is full) to ask him to come look at it again. This is not a reputable contractor nor is it one you should do business with ever!
