If you're lucky, they'll probably fix it. I've had a few interactions with the company. Most of the time they're 'ok'. Unfortunately, they do not perform well when things do not go smoothly. I recently had a technician visit to fix a gas oven igniter. The oven didn't leak, just wouldn't turn on. The technician did the work, said it was fixed, and left. As soon as I turn on the oven you can smell a gas leak. The oven is inoperable and a serious hazard. Contacted the company and politely asked for a technician to return and look at the issue. They told me no one could be there for 6 days, and that there was no possible way it was their fault. Gave me lots of excuses and were obviously looking to charge me for another visit to fix a problem they created. Receptionist (Candace; not sure if there's more than one) was polite until I suggested this could possibly be the technicians fault and then became rude and eventually hung up on me because I really thought they should get someone out sooner to look at a gas leak. I'm not one to burn a bridge. Hopefully, they have active management and the review will do some good.

Hi [Member Name Removed], Changing the igniter wouldn't of affected any of your gas lines. You also stated that the oven was heating when the technician left. We are sorry that we aren't able to send someone else out unitl next week but thats when we could get you in on our schedule. We can't cancel someone else'[Member Information Removed] appointment to put you ahead. That would not be right. We tried suggesting you call your home warranty company to see if they could get another company out sooner. We also advised if you think you have a gas leak to call your gas company. We do not ever charge you anything. What you pay is between you an your home warranty company.

On November 8, 2022 the company sent a repairman to look at my dishwasher that had stopped working. Diagnosis was that it needed a new control panel that they would have to order. The cost of the repair visit was $85. I followed up a few weeks later and was told they would check on the order and call back. No one called back. I believe that this is a quick way to make money without doing anything. Beware and do not use this company.

I placed a request for appliance repair. These guys were the first to call me so in desperation I went with them. These jokers charged me 150$ in labor on a 20 minute job. And marked up the part 1000%. I am all for paying people fairly but what ever happens to trying to earn repeat business. I will never use them again.

Sorry you are not happy with the service we provided. We always give you the option to choose if you want to proceed with the job or not after we give you the quote. We actually have a lot more time then 20 minutes repairing your unit. We drove to an from your house twice an drove to the part store to get the parts to fix your refrigerator. We do not feel [Member Information Removed] anyway we overcharged you. There are many hidden expenses for conducting business an these are the charges we have to charge to be profitable as a company. Angie’s list isn’t cheap to advertise on either. If you would like to discuss further, you are free to call our office at 317-739-0618.

Technician, Michael, called to inform me he was on his way to my home. He arrived at the quoted time. Michael was very friendly. He did a great job of explaining what the washer problem was and repaired it. He was excellent. I would use this company again. EXCELLENT Services!

Working with this company has been TERRIBLE from start to "finish." I really can't say anything was finished because another company had to be called in to finish things up. The ONLY reason they were used was because our home warranty company sent them. Their other reviews are also bad, so BEWARE! They came to my home at least five times to repair the dryer, and would not conclude that it ultimately could not be fixed. Instead they dragged things on for MONTHS! I had to go an entire summer without a working dryer because of these people. They even tried to blame my problem on the company that did my vent cleaning (upon their recommendation). Dryer Vent Solutions did an excellent job and even came back out at no charge to make sure things were correct - they have very highly reviews on Angie's List! But Appliance Network STILL disputed that the dryer was the issue. FINALLY the home warranty company sent in a second company to get a second opinion and guess what...the dryer is not fixable and it's getting replaced! Going with a different company could have saved me and my family a ton of aggravation. DO NOT USE APPLIANCE NETWORK!

HORRIBLE! Used my warranty service and these people couldn't even call me within the required 24 hour time period. Finally called but didn't leave a message. I called them this morning and they rudely put me on hold for 8 minutes the first time, then 6 minutes the second time when I hung up and called back. Told me rudely, "you are not the only customer!!" "You are just going to have to wait" and when I asked for a manager he was even more obnoxious. Requested to my warranty service to transfer the service because these idiots can't even manage to answer the phone. I WOULD NEVER ALLOW THEM TO WORK ON ANYTHING!

Appliance Network arrived in a timely manner. Diagnosed the issue and submitted estimated repair costs. Costs were more than the washer cost new 2 years ago. Chose to take a look at their refurbished washers. Picked out a washer and paid for it. Was then told their delivery truck was broken down and they didn't know when it would be fixed. I was unable to get anyone to pick up the washer for a week. Went to get the washer and got it home only to realize that a stabilizer for the tub was broke. Called them and they said to bring it back. Loaded it up and returned it. They would not give a refund as they have a no refund policy nor would they give me a comparable washer. Stated they would have to talk to owner to see if he would fix it or not. Promised to call the same day. Never received a call. I am now out the money I paid for the washer and have no washer. The "manager" raised her voice to me and told the people with me to get off her property. Manager was rude and very unprofessional. She told me that I was not told the delivery truck was down and who had told me that. I pointed to the other employee standing there and that employee stated yes she told me that. If this issue is ever resolved I will never do business with them again and will not recommend them to anyone. They are not professional and do not honor their "60 day warranty from pick up" which is written on my receipt.

I have a home warrenty with HMS. I filed a claim (#93302295) on 19Dec2016 for my wall oven and gas cooktop. HMS contracted Appliance Network of Franklin, IN (AN) to perform the work. AN diagnosed both issues. approx. date was 21Dec2016 and parts were ordered for both units. 2 weeks later, AN returned to install the parts for both the wall oven and cooktop. After the repair, both appliances had the same issue. The issue with the wall oven has been resolved but I am still dealing with my cooktop. The igniter was replaced and that did not fix the issue. AN then ordered an igniter spark module which took an additional 3 weeks. (At this time my gas cook top was still partially functional because only one burner was affected). When Appliance Network returned 13Feburary2017 to install the module I observed the technician proceeded to take apart the gas cook top and in attempting to make the repair broke several other parts. The technician informed me that the unit is unsafe for operation. I smelled gas when the main gas valve was turned on so the gas was shut off and the cooktop is now unusable. Two days later I called AN, because I had not received any communication. As of 13Feb2017 I no longer have a useable cooktop and a house full of 5 people. I was told parts would be in on 27Feb2017, with no communication by 01Mar2017 I called AN who (Chelsea) told me that part hadn’t even been ordered yet. I called my home warranty to file a complaint but other than making a few phone calls to AN they can’t help because AN is now responsible for the damage. When HMS call and talked to Chelsea she informed them that the parts were ordered on Monday the 13th, which was different than I was told. Chelsea (AN) now informs me that one of the three parts won’t be in now until 28 March. This is where my bigger concern is, I have safety concerns with AN repairing my cook top as this is a gas appliance and this is the 4th time they will have worked on an appliance for me and it is unsafe to use. HMS has informed me that they must give Appliance Network the chance to repair the cook top. My opinion Appliance Network is not capable of fixing this. They communication/ customer service is the worst I have ever seen. The fact the Chelsea has yelled at me and hung up on me is justification that this company in unprofessional and my cook top will not be fixed to my satisfaction. I have also reached out to contact the owner of Appliance Network, J. Milligan and Chelsea will not even allow me to speak with him nor has he answered my request to call. Bottom line, My thoughts are that HMS hired this contractor to try and repair my gas cook top which they miss- diagnosed and they broke it HMS needs to replace my cook top and get Appliance Network to compensate them for the replacement. This is a major safety concern and I don’t feel that Appliance Network is capable of repairing my damaged gas cook top. As a customer it is unacceptable that I have to go nearly 2 months without a cook top. I have 5 persons to feed and that can’t be done every day by using a microwave. Customer service is the worst and most un-professional I have even witnessed or been part of. RK.
