4 D BUILDING & 4 D NORTH

4D Buildings abandoned the project on March 13, 2009 and have not returned. 4D Buildings was paid money to pay vendors for materials and did not. 4D Buildings was overpaid $100,000 and will not return phone calls or emails. They are involved in fraudulent activities and they must rectify these situations.

MIKE HAS DONE WORK FOR US BEFORE AND I'M ALWAYS VERY PLEASED. 4 D HAS ALWAYS BEEN FAIR AND PROFESSIONAL WITH THEIR WORK. THEY ALSO WILL BE BACK TO PUT DIRT OVER TRENCH AFTER THE GROUND DRIES. RATHER THE TEAR UP THE YARD THEY WANT TO COME BACK AND FINISH IT PROPERLY SO OUR YARD IS NOT A MESS...... THAT'S GOING THE EXTRA MILE TO PLEASE. STRONGLY RECOMMED 4 D FOR POLE BARNS AND GENERAL CONTRACTOR WORK.

Even with poor weather this winter with rain and snow and freezing rain they finished the project ahead of schedule. Even with some electrical problems in the house they went out of their way to make sure they did what it took to make it right for us and the horses. With electrical water buckets and hammers the electrical had to be right. They made sure it was right. They were on time and never left a mess. Before they left each day they cleaned up and organized everything. They are unbelievable and I strongly recommend them for any barn, garage, etc.

Did a nice job in tearing off the roof and skin of an old pole barn, and replacing same, adding windows and some doors. They poured concrete for about half of the floor, to line up with an partial existing concrete floor. Everything was fine, except for the concrete work, as that portion of the work was done with no expansion joints or cuts, very amateurish work on the concrete work. It has since cracked and raised up to a level higher than the old floor.

Unfortunately, our experience with the warranty work is similar to when we originally had our Wick barn built. This company is not responsive. It took 2 months of phone calls and emails to get them to come out to even take a look at the leaks that had developed in the barn. They did not respond to our emails at all. When we left phone messages, they did not return our calls. When we spoke to them personally at the Indiana horse show, they promised to come to the house within a week but did not. We were only able to speak to someone if we by chance reached them live on the phone. They finally did make the repairs after two months, but had to come back to make more repairs when the first repair did not completely fix the leaks. Although we love our Wick barn, we would never initiate another project with this dealer.
