They were great to work with. They were reliable and neat.

Very good experience. On time, polite, easy to work with. Cleaned up after themselves. No surprises or issues. Will hire again. We did schedule awhile in advance, but that was based on our own schedule. The company could have done it without the wait.

I was so disappointed with this company. I spoke with a worker about the very small job I needed done in a short amount of time. It was just 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. After he said he really needed the job because he was currently working with a lady that couldn't make a decision and was taking way longer than expected he said he could do the job. He quoted me $350. Then I told him I saw his coupon on AL that says, "10% off $100 limit." He actually said that he would not honor the coupon because he needed the $350 job. Can you believe that!? I repeated what he said, just to make sure I heard him correctly and he said "Yup. That doesn't count." I appreciate the willingness to do a job in short notice, but I do not appreciate a man that does not honor his word. I will NEVER call him again and do not recommend him. ($350)

Joel and his crew did a fantastic job. In February of 2006, Joel had originally given me an estimate for painting the exterior of our home and for staining our extensive new deck. The work was scheduled to be done in April 2006; however, due to having to unexpectedly replace a leaking skylight, we could only afford to do our deck in April. Joel said that that was fine. In the spring of 2007, I called Joel back to ask him if he'd still paint the exterior of our home. He not only agreed, but said that he'd do it for the price estimated to us the year before. Joel also kept up with my continuing changes, adding the gutters, doors and window frames, changing from just one paint color to three, one being a very dark red. :) The job was scheduled for May of 2007 and went off without a hitch. The house and shed look beautiful! Thank you for your patience Joel! You do awesome work!

It went so beautifully!!!! I have been so unbelievably impressed with Joel Thomas' work over the years & this was absolutely exemplary. I was admittedly very nervous about the ability to match the wood stain, but Joel came through just as promised. He communicated every step of the way to be sure that we would be totally satisfied with the outcome. Joel and his crew were punctual and incredibly neat every day of this 2 week project. They did so many little things I can't even list them all (e.g., extra care with household items, moving heavy items, haul away of old bookcases & carpet). Absolutely remarkable value considering the first-rate quality of their work. I look forward to my next painting project! We've hired him several times before and we are lifetime customers now!

The cost above is for the interior painting. He was real down to earth and there were no surprises. He was really straight forward and easy to work with. He walked through and had me look at everything before he left to make sure we were completely satisfied.

The communication was great. Joel called to let us know when he was going to be there and when they were finished. He kept us informed of the project. Joel was easy to work with and the work was well done. The condo looks brand new now with the new paint. The cost was half the price of another company's estimate.

Tom was timely in his follow-up conversations. He communicated when he said he would about scheduling and gave us enough notice to get prepared. He and his team did a good job of protecting the floors and furniture. They repaired and prepped walls, painted 2 coats, and cleaned up in 1 day. It was a long day, but it was better for them and we appreciated that we didn't have to dedicate another day to the project.

Joel and Mike did the entire job themselves from start to finish. They were here for a total of 10 working days, from morning until early evening every day. The house looks wonderful, and they cleaned up their mess each day before leaving. I'm very pleased with the quality of the work done.

They were very prompt and always called before they came. The gave all the information I needed. Thomas himself did the work which I liked. He did a good job and I would use him again.

After providing a reasonable estimate, Joel set a start time for the following week. After power-washing the exterior, Joel helped me select and refine my color choices, and also advised me on how to match the deck color to the cedar color of my fence, as the two did not match at that time. His suggestions seemed to work well with my color choices for the house. A small piece of siding came off during the pressure-washing, but was replaced securely and painted so that it looks as though it never happened. As delighted as I am with the looks of my home, the miracle work that was done on the deck is astounding! The stain on the deck and the color of the fence exactly match, and the look of the house, the deck, and the fence is pulled together perfectly. Everything was done within three days, making my home look fantastic! The three gentlemen who greatly improved the looks of the property were professional and personable, and I highly recommend them and the quality of their work.

Joel and his crew did a great job and I will them again for my next painting project.

Joel Thomas and his crew were great. He was at my house painting a week to the day after giving me an estimate. He showed up on time at 8:00 am and was finished before 6:00 pm. They took excellent care to cover everything. They moved the big furniture (including a console piano) and put it back when they were finished. They did a great job painting around the stairs and didn't get a speck of paint on my brand new carpet. I was given the opportunity to inspect everything before they finished and fixed the small spot I found. Thanks for a great job!

Outstanding work. Great attention to detail. Far better job than we could do ourselves. Joel's recommendation are always right on. He offered to stain two rocking chairs and painted the mailbox for no extra charge. He pointed out several places where the wood railings were rotting, which we were not aware of, so we would know to get those repaired. The porch floor was stained to perfection. I love these guys.

They paid special attention to several northfacing sides where algae was growing. The house looked great when they were through. They had me walk around to make sure all was clean.

Joel came out and gave us a quick estimate and was ready to start when needed. He was very patient as we picked out the color and scheduled the work. When we saw the result we were very pleased.

Joel Thomas was very responsive to my request for a quote and provided a quote within two days of visiting our home. He was able to schedule our job within one week of selecting his company. Joel and his crew were very courteous, clean and professional. There were minimal minor paint splatters and no blips on the ceiling. Due to the paint color, it was difficult to determine what areas needed touching up. However, upon bringing this to Joel's attention, he immediately offered to come back and touch it up or reduce the price accordingly. We will definitely hire Joel again for future jobs!

They were able to start right away. They did a good job at a reasonable price.

Joel came out on a Saturday to begin the estimate. He said he could call us on Sunday with the price or put a bid in the mail. We asked him to call on Sunday. The price was fair and was competitive with our other bids (about $200 less). He said, if we were ready, he and his crew could start on Tuesday. We were ready and he and his crew started Tuesday morning. The entire job lasted 2.5 days. During that time they worked steadily and tirelessly with few (if any) breaks. The prep work was meticulous and the painting was precise. At the end of each day, Joel and his crew cleaned up, swept the floors and scrubbed the sink. I think they left my house cleaner than they found it! Since it was a multi day job, I really didn't expect the daily clean up! Joel challenged me to go over the work each day with a "fine tooth comb" - I really didn't find much, but they quickly corrected the minor things I found. He and his crew were polite, respectful and hard working. Excellent quality!!

Joel was a little late getting out for the estimate. His original estimate was $1,400 lower than the highest bid. When I called to ask him about this, the difference was in two areas, his responses to which were disappointing. It was important to us how companies approached the Tudor boards. Some proposed to paint the edges and face different colors - largely, my impression, based on what was easiest for the painters, vs. what looks best. If companies "cut corners" on the Tudor boards, it left doubts in our mind about their approach to quality. Joel's original estimate was to go this cheaper route. Joel even tried to convince me this was "cleaner," which was not customer focused. His second estimate (to do it right) was $400 more. The second reason, according to Joel, was that he did not use subs, like many of his competitors. "And if you speak Spanish, I guess that's OK," was his next comment. I found that to be offensive, unprofessional and ethnically insensitive.

I would be glad to recommend this company to anyone.
