Description of Work: He checked over the house to find where the animal (squirrel?) might get in. He then set traps and came back a few days later to check them. Didn't catch the animal but he did close down the way it was getting. Overall an excellent job.

+ -1 moreI met with Terry once, and then he returned to do his work while I was at work. I didn't need to be there or be inconvenienced.I recommend him for eliminating my wildlife problem without resorting to trapping or other inhumane treatment.
Description of Work: Raccoons were camping out on my roof, climbing up the porch posts, leaving filth and feces on the wood and roof.I called Terry who came out and assessed the situation with a physical inspection of the roof and porch. He returned toapply a vanish product that repels the raccoons. Then he built two wooden endcaps that enclosed the area on the soffit where they liked to hide. He painted the caps white, and they do not detract from my Victorian cottage home at all. He also installed a vent cover on a sidewall vent where birds were nesting, and washed the area on the house where bird droppings were most evident.

+ -1 moreDo's Call an animal removal professional. Dont's Don't try to remove a wild animal yourself. Don't wait to call. I tried to trap the raccoon myself, but it was smart enough to tip the live trap over and get the bait and then flip it back over to make it look like he set the trap and took the food. I will not try to trap them myself again. Terry from Out of Control Wildlife had the right equipment and the experiance to get the job done fast and safely for all involved.
Description of Work: We had a very large male raccoon in our 3/4 finished basement crawlspace area (utility room) that was probably more than 20 lbs. When I called Out of Control Wildlife and talked to Terry, he knew the raccoon was probably sleeping during the day and he arrived at the exact time he quoted which is almost unheard of nowadays. He was very professional and he crawled right into the crawlspace to noose the raccoon into the trap that he brought. I was trying to help him and accidentally turned out the light on him for a couple of seconds before he had a hold of the raccoon. He didn't freak out and laughed about it afterwards. It didn't take him more than a couple of minutes to get the raccoon contained. He went outside and saw where the raccoon was going under our wood deck and gave us some heavy screen to block the hole on the outside to prevent any more critters from getting into our crawlspace. I even got the bill in the mail the next day and it was exactly what he quoted me even though he said he may charge me more for turning out the light on him. lol. Professional. Punctual. Accurate pricing. He helped us understand how to prevent it in the future. I would definitely use him again ... if needed.

+ -1 moreThey were at the house the day after I called, set the traps and trapped the squirrel the same day - removed it the next day. A week later, another squirrel chewed another hole next to the original one. The results were the same for this one as well. They only charged me one set up charge and only charged me the $65 removal fee for the second squirrel, even though they had to set up twice. Very professional with me and humane with the squirrels. I would use them again and recommend them to others.
Description of Work: We had two different issues with Piney Squirrels chewing their way into our walls and setting up a nest. They trapped both squirrels in live traps, removed them and repaired the holes.

+ -1 moreI spent $180 on that service. They looked for indications of any animals in the crawl space and found what they said was a squirrel hole. It had gone under there through a vent and he repaired that and I haven’t heard any noises after that. He was very informative and pleasant and he seemed to be knowledgeable. He told me some stories about other situations he had been in with animals and also about some of their habits. He also looked around the whole house to see any indications of any other animals or entries where they may be getting in. Their pricing seemed a little high.
Description of Work: I used Out Of Control Wildlife in the middle of January he took care of what they said was a squirrel hole under the crawl space.

+ -1 moreCalled this morning, left voice mail. Terry called me back within 2 hours. I described the problem and the noises that we'd been hearing from our fireplace. Based on my description, Terry was leaning toward the notion that a momma raccoon and babies had taken refuge in our chimney. He quoted me an estimate accordingly, and I asked when he could come out. He was able to come over a few hours later the same day, and found that the inhabitants were actually birds - a family of Sparrows. (So much for my vivid description ;-). Terry removed the youngsters and the nest today, and because he said that they were just about ready to be independent, indicated that he was taking them back to Fortville for release far away from our home. Great response, resolution, and service overall.
Description of Work: Bird (Sparrow) removal from our fireplace chimney.

+ -1 moreTerry is wonderful. Several years ago he found an entry point made by ground squirrels where they chewed through the soffit, got into the basement then up through the walls. He sealed that area and solved the problem. I again started hearing scratching in the walls and ceilings. Terry discovered they had chewed through an adjacent area and chewed part of a shingle. He set traps for the squirrels as they would exit the house, then sealed the entry point. 2 ground squirrels were the culprits.

ALL IN ALL FOUR WEEKS PASSED BY, WITH ANIMALS GROWING IN MY ATTIC, BEFORE I GAVE UP AND CALLED ANOTHER ANIMAL REMOVAL COMPANY. IT IS DIFFICULT TO SAY JUST WHO, IN THE SET OF THREE COMPANIES, DROPPED THE BALL, BECAUSE THEY ALL WORK TOGETHER.
