We have terminated our service with Green Scene due to poor attitude on their part and no one working through a local office. Communication with them consists of my leaving a message and the Davenport Iowa people calling me back. Poor way to run a business.

It's been great, you should see our lawn, it looks fabulous. When we first moved in it was terrible and they have helped us make it look fabulous.They call before had, usually they call the day before to ask if it is okay to come out a do a treatment. We can say no this is not a good time or yes, come on out. I have dogs too, so it is nice to make sure that they are not out. I have never had a problem with them and they are very helpful. We used them instead of other companies because the person that answered the phone when I first called was nice and answered all my questions. They did send somebody out, I asked if I could get a quote before using them and they had no problem with that. One guy comes out to do the work it takes about 30 to 40 minutes to complete.

We're on a schedule so they just come whenever they're supposed to come. Like every other month or so. I'm fine with the price. I'd pay anything to get rid of spiders.

We've used them for years. We adore them. Our yard looks fabulous. Both of our new neighbors are jealous. They are very personable. My mom used them too. They are family owned. They are really great to work with. They value their customers. You aren't just a number. I don't have anything to compare the price to. You call them and there are two girls that work in the office if they can't answer your question they would get the answer for you. They are on their own schedule. I don't ever call them. They just show up.

We were serviced all last year by Green Scene. New construction yard, so a lot of work to be done. This spring the grass has come in great and I'm really impressed with the effectiveness of their program. Very knowledgeable and responsive. Highly recommend.

WARNING: WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST USING GREEN-SCENE FOR ANY SERVICES. We were very disappointed in that owner provided minimal training and guidance to his staff. As a result, his employees were unable to identify or report common lawn diseases and weed problems. Although Green-Scene's written brochure claims "We Get Results", we found the opposite to be true. Services were often delivered late and applied incorrectly. Our lawn did not look good over an extended period of time. Given the recurring problems, we frequently had to bring problems to the owner's attention. In doing so, we found Robert to be very unprofessional and dishonest. He frequently would disparage his employees and many of his customers. We were very disappointed with his know-it-all attitude and negative comments about veterans. For us, the final straw was when he failed to take accountability for his mistakes and failed to visit our property after multiple problems has been reported. At the end, he resorted to dishonesty and insults. We are not willing to work with a bully that refuses to be accountable. As a result, we have terminated all services. We also recommend that others do not use this company.

They call ahead of time of service, leave a receipt after the service. The little things they do. They are very friendly and I have used their service for three years now, and continued to be very pleased.

They seemed very professional. They tried to give me information about my lawn, rather than just put stuff down and hope it works. They seemed to know what they were doing. The yard look much better than when I was doing it myself. I would use them again in the future.

I had to end up canceling this program with them and ask for my money back. I had neighbors who had two treatments on their lawn before ever hearing a word out of Green-Scene. The sent out an email saying they were dodging the rain this spring, which I could understand until I came home to my neighbors talking about how their yards had been treated twice already. I completely understand not being able to fertilize and weed control when it is raining, but that reason goes out the window when your competitors have been around twice before you can get out once. I was really excited about using Green-Scene as I have heard great things about them and being a fellow Purdue grad, I knew that the education was there, but unfortunately the timeliness wasn't there. I also explained to the nice lady when I called into cancel that I wasn't sure if they just didn't have enough people to work for them to do the lawns or what it was, but I just need to have a reliable supplier for lawn care. I know I clicked that I wouldn't use this provider in the future, but that is only because there wasn't a maybe option. I am still on the fence for future years, as their price can't be beat, but the other side of me says I get what I pay for. I hope that they figure out what is actually going on and if that happens then I will take a second look at them then. Sorry we couldn't make it work out this year. Thanks

They are courteous and professional and do a great job. We will continue to use their services again this season.

The cost varies depending upon the service, what they're doing at the time. I think it's $30 to $40, seven times a year or something like that. They're great.

This is our 4th year with this company and we couldn't be happier with their service, professionalism and expertise. Not only does a tech come out twice in spring, summer and fall to treat and assess the lawn's condition, but the owner, who is a certified agronomist, sends regular e-mails with local condition alerts for disease and stress on lawns as well as tips on watering. He also will come out promptly if we have a particular concern or question and consult with us. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a lawn treatment service.

We have used this company for many years and are thrilled with how great our yard looks - the neighbors are jealous so we hand out the number. The staff is excellent - the best customer service in the Industry! I especially am grateful for the communication from the Owner - helpful tips and updates.

We have been using Green Scene for years. They have a lot of service options. I use the for regular fertilizing along with disease control and thatch control. My lawn general looks good but has had problems with the harsh weather and fungus issues. They do a good job of controlling it. He sends great info in his emails. The owner is very knowledgeable.

I like them. It went very well. They were friendly. They came out when they said they would. They have done a nice job on our yard so I have been pleased with their service

Between Rob, Pam and Diane things have gone superbly. I have to laugh a bit when I see the previous 2, 3 yr old reports complaining, etc. Complainers complain is about all you can say because Green Scene has done everything they said they would and more. They tell it like it is, even if it's not "pretty" because that is reality in some cases. It was ours in both lawns. We literally had a goat patch and they took it from 2010 to 2013 (worst conditions in recent history for growing anything) and made it excellent. In the current situation Rob spent very solid time analyzing out situation. We've had 3 or 4 of the "best" landscaping companies in Indy tell us not to try to grow grass because it won't work. Rob said the same but that if we wanted to try they would assist. We've decided to just build a pool so grass won't be necessary. But, if we were going to try, Green Scene would have been who we used. Thank you Rob, Pam & Diane.

They've been very good and I've been using them for 3 to 4 years. They're pretty good about helping you pick up the services you need. If you don't want using the services, they tell you get when to get the raw materials, how much it costs and how to apply it. They did really good in the work and that kind of stuffs. They're very prompt and conscious. Their service is excellent that they are very friendly and helpful considering on the phone. They give answers to your questions right away. They have a costumer and they tell the estimation and they wouldn't do anything but to talk to them first. They're pretty upfront too and they do quickly the services for you. They also did the service for just 2 to 3 days.

Company was disrespectful of customer. Instead of being professional they wrote disparaging comments on estimate and did not understand the use of a compost area in the back yard. Apparently the company is not environmentally supportive of these efforts. Instead they wanted the area behind fence cleared so that they could charge more to seed and treat the extra sqaure footage not part of the yard. Their estimate was way out of line in consideration of small size of yard to be treated. It is interesting to note - we were asked NOT to place a report on Angies List.

We hired this company on recommendation from a friend and their Angie rating but they turned out to be awful. The spring and summer when there were water restrictions and they kept coming out regardless of that and spraying our yard to collect their fee. Sure enough a month later, our entire grounds looked like a goat farm with brown grass everywhere and completely dead patches everywhere. When we tried to speak with owner, he was rude, blamed us and would not even agree to come over to see the state of the yard. Said he was too busy. Needless to say, we fired them and switched to a professional company who we have been using the last 2 years and never had an issue. Our yard looks again like a golf course as it did before Green Scene luckily. Do yourself a favor and don't use them. I am a Purdue grad and the owner is a Purdue grad but don't let that sway you. Sounding smart does not make one smart.

Very detailed. Each application is done by a trained observer so that diagnosis of problems is on the spot. Lawn is much improved. I did not find that they pushed treatments if they thought they were unnecessary or untimely and on occasion recommended against doing something that I thought might help. Lawn is much improved and they will be back next season. They supply a detailed summary of the service provided, any problems observed and suggestions for any additional treatment together with changes in homeowner provided care - watering schedules, mowing tips, etc.

I have been using them for the last four or five years. They come 6 or 7 times each summer. I pay about $40 per application and the experience so far has been excellent. Compared to other lawn care maintenance people they are more customized. Some of these other outfits have the same lawn care and treatment from one house to the next, but Green Scene is more customized. If my yard needs the treatment they apply it, if it doesn't, they don't. Customization is their strongest suit. They are fine people and very knowledgeable.
