I emailed Greg directly off Angies List. he came over and gave me a quote. He was very kind and gave me the $40 quote after he saw the size of the tree. Normally has a minimum of $150, but could not see charging me that fee to shape the tree and trim the low clearance of the tree. he had job completed in days. very much appreciated. would highly recommend him. Excellent. Greg came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He was out the next day and cut down the tree and stacked the wood so my neighbor could use it in his fire place. This is the second time I have used Applied Tree Service. Both times service has been outstanding.

They provide quality work, are reasonable, and clean up after themselves. I would hire them again in the future.

This guy works the old-fashioned way with ropes and climbing. He didn't have to bring any big equipment into the place, which is good because they couldn't have gotten it into the backyard. They came out and gave me an estimate which was about 30% lower than another estimate that I had received from another highly-rated company. He also said he would be flexible if they came across more things that the estimate didn't cover. His work was outstanding, superb. This guy loves trees and can tell you about what's going on with them. They were very careful with my property and did a good job with cleanup. He ended up clearing up more than was written on the contract page. I offered to pay him more for this work, but he told me no, that's okay. He thought that he had finished on Tuesday, but there was a little more discovered on Wednesday that he quickly came back and took care of. He even brought my newspaper from the end of my driveway to my door. You can tell he is a good person.

They arrived right on time. Cut down the trees and cut the tree into 16 inch logs as we requested. All the other debris was either chipped or hauled away. Very efficient and prompt service.

Greg Whisenand came promptly to give us an estimate. After we accepted the contract, he scheduled the work for two days starting about twelve days after he came for the estimate. He and his two assistants (both of whom were both pleasant and capable) arrived on time each day. They did everything called for in the contract plus removing some other brush and one small tree. Greg also spent time advising on procedures we could perform to protect several other trees which needed some attention. He voluntarily cut some of the wood into fireplace lengths and left some bark mulch for us - both took him some added time not required in the contract. Because of the lot dimensions and close proximity of other homes he could not access the large trees in the back of the lot with any power lifts. He climbed the three large trees to make cuts and lower the cut sections by rope. This took additional time and increased the cost over what it would have been had he been able to access the trees with power lift equipment; however, Greg's quote was quite reasonable and significantly less than the other quote we had received.

He did a pretty good job. I think he responded fairly promptly. He sent me an estimate for the work. Initially I thought it was a bit high, then he took $25 off. He came promptly when the weather permitted and did a great job.

Greg and his crew were very professional. Very thorough cleanup. Very fair pricing for the work contracted. Would definitely use again.

Greg Whisenand responded promptly to my initial phone call, explained clearly what he would do and when, showed up when promised, and completed the work as promised. He was always very courteous and professional. We were pleased to find him and will gladly hire him again if we need any tree services in the future.

Gregory and his crew did a great job! We were having problems with squirrels getting on the roof from the tree limbs close to the house. Gregory had great advice and really was very knowledgeable about the types of trees we had. His crew cut back the trees, cut down the dead ones, and used the wood chopper to throw it back into the woods for a nice mulch covering. I called him back one more time to cut back the ornamental tree in front that I didn't think the squirrels could use, but I was wrong. He came back within a couple days to cut it back. Now, no more squirrels!

They did a wonderful job. They did a good clean up and we definitely recommend them.

Very pleased with Greg's service. I submitted a request via Angie's List e-mail on a Saturday evening. By evening i had exchanged e-mails with Greg to set up a Sunday appointment. He arrived on time and we walked my yard developing a proposal. He e-mailed a contract on Sunday night. Work was completed as scheduled the following Monday and Tuesday. All work done as indicated. All limbs and debris were removed - he brought a chipper in to my yard and there was only a small amount of debris left - nothing that caused any issues when I mowed the grass 5 days later. As we walked Greg's comment with the bushes was to clean them up like he owned the house. He succeeded. My yard looks nicer than it has in several years - and I can't wait to see it in the Spring as the trees leaf out.

The owner, Gregory Whisenand, gave us the quote and did the work himself with one assistant. He was always punctual, professional, and did what he said he would do. His prices were very reasonable (I had one other quote from a large local firm that was much higher). I would give this firm and Greg the highest possible recommendation.

We contacted Applied Tree Services to provide an estimate for removal of 2 mature River Birch trees from our yard after seeing the positive reports on Angie's List. They responded very quickly to our call and we had an estimate within a few days. The estimate was very reasonable based on comparisons with other companies that we had contacted. We followed up with them to arrange a date/time for the service to be performed and were able to have them come back within a week. The tree removal went very smoothly and we even had them remove some additional bushes since we were satisfied with how well the job was going and the owner was very accommodating in taking on the additional work. Our overall experience was very positive. The owner was very courteous and the job was completed as requested and the yard was left in very good condition. I would use them again for future services.

Greg did a fantastic job. He was extremely responsive to my request for a quote, coming out the next day. He communicated well and consistently via voicemail and email, and got the quote to me promptly. He was very cost competitive. During the work he also summarized some things he had noted in an email to me. The work itself was very high quality. Importantly Greg stressed safety throughout the job. I have recommended him to several neighbors and would not hesitate to use him again.

I sent Greg and email through the Angie's list website and received an email confirmation from him that he would be out the next day for an estimate. We discussed the work that needed to be done and he gave me a much better price than I have had in the past. The work was completed in one day the next week. Everything was done as expected. Very pleased with the service and I will be talking with him next spring for treatments for some of my trees.

I called Applied on morning and he busted his butt to come out that same day to get me a quote--and did so afterhours just to provide same day service. The process was wonderful from start to finish, the quote was very reasonable and the work was completed as promised in one day. I couldn't ask for any better service--after cutting down the tree, he cleaned off not just the area of the roof that was dirty and had tree debris, but offered and blew off the entire roof, just as an extra, professional touch. I absolutely would use this service again and highly recommend them.

The representative came to my home at the appointed time and gave me a very professional quotation. His bid was higher than one other company and lower than two other companies.

A bunch of tree limbs had fallen on my fence in a storm and the first company I hired took them off the fence but left them in the backyard, which didn't do me much good. I called Applied and they came in about twenty minutes from my phone call, removed the limbs and also some other debris I had tried to clean up and were gone in about a half hour, and they even cleaned up after themselves with a blower. I'm sure it was an "easy" job for them, but I struggled with trying to do it myself and failed epically. Thanks, guys!

The work was done beautifully and completed within the same day of the initial call. The crew was helpful in giving advice as the project was discussed. They were very friendly and took pride in their work. The completed project looks wonderful! They even cleaned up every bit of tree litter! :) Very professional. I recommend highly.

On Sat. 6/26/10 I noticed that a Bradford Pear tree in my front yard had a vertical slpit in the trunk of the tree. At approx. 3:45 on Sat. I called Greg at Applied 3D Tree Services to get an estimate on fixing the tree if possible or removing it. Greg came out Monday and said that he could save the tree and gave me an estimate that I felt was very fair along with an Angie's List discount to do the work. On Tuesday he came out and did the prescribed work to the tree. By the time I got home from work the tree had been repaired, the mess cleaned up and the tree was looking good. Greg said that the tree was healthy should recover fine. Applied 3D Tree Services did all that I could ask of a company. They responded quickly and professionally to my problem. Greg was a pleasure to work with and I will surely use him in the future for any tree services that I may need.

We had several trees and branches that were causing problems with our roof and gutters. We needed some trees totally removed and others cut back. Before starting the job, they walked the site and explained what would be done and asked questions about how we wanted the area to look when the job was complete. They also made suggestions for long term maintenance, which was helpful. The crew was very friendly and professional. The work was completed on time and they did a great job cleaning up the worksite.
