We were thrilled by their professionalism. They were in and out fairly quickly. No mess left behind - all branches and/leaves were disposed of. In addition to trimming down these large branches, they also cleaned the roof area of a racoon's presence. We never asked them to - it wasn't something that was quoted in the price....they just did it. Small details like that are much appreciated.

It was super! I was very, very pleased. There were four people who came out. They were very prompt and even called before they were coming. They cleaned up so well, that you couldn't tell they were here. I recommend them very highly!!

I sent an email asking for the service. He was out in the next few days and completed the work. The tree had gotten so large, people were having trouble walking on the sidewalk. Always does an excellent job.

The service was excellent. They were professional and cleaned up all debris. Prices were reasonable. They removed poison ivy from the hedge. They also saved 3 baby squirrels.

His men arrived on time and trimmed 3 trees for me--they were professional and asked a number of times if we were happy with what they were doing--he cleaned up everything and I was extremely pleased with their work! I felt his cost for the job was more than fair and if you need tree service be sure to use this company!

Great experience. He provided a quote at the time requested. We agreed on what was to be done and they arrived at the specific time. All work was completed in less than 2 days and they did a great job with clean up.

I emailed for a quote to remove the bushes. It was only a day later I received a quote, and a call the next that he was coming by. He gave me an estimate, which was quite reasonable. He removed them that day. I did not expect such quick service. I came home today, the bushes are gone, and the bed they were in is cleaned and you cannot tell at all that they were there! He is excellent to deal with.

We had a tree knocked down from a recent storm and called Applied Tree Services to come out and remove it. Greg came out and was very pleasant and professional. He let us know why the tree fell down and also gave us advice on maintenance for the rest of our landscape. He removed the tree and cleaned up any mess left behind. He is extremely knowledgeable and we will use him and his company again for any tree concerns.

We had a large ash tree in our front yard, much taller than our house. The ash borers had taken their toll and it appeared 90% dead. Greg took the time and explained the options. We chose to have it cut down. In less than a week, he and his team cut down the tree, removed all logs, limbs, and brush. They also ground the stump to below ground level. All of this with snow still on the ground! Then he offered advice on how to manage the area with the replanting of grass seed.. Since we have serveral more trees in our backyard, some of which are ashes, we will definitely be using him again for any trimming or removals in the future.

We got 3 quotes and Greg's quote was the best. He was prompt, responsive, and professional. On top of meeting all our expectations, he was just a very nice guy that took pride in his business! I am sure we will use him again!

The price and the work were excellent. I had another quote from a company through the big deal to do the same work, except for the fallen branch, and they wanted over 3 times what Applied charged. In addition, Appled Tree Service ended up doing more work than expected but did not charge for it.

Greg knows what he is doing! He showed in depth knowledge of each type of tree on my property. He made sure he was doing what I wanted and made sure everything was as he found it when he was done. Great job!

I called Greg, who was a little outside of his regular area. However, he said it was close enough and he came out to see the job I wanted done. We had three ash trees that were in bad shape (due in fact to another tree company that had left the job unfinished). Greg walked the area with me and listen to what I wanted done. He also looked at another tree that was leaning and said he would look into seeing what he could do to help straighten it. He gave me an estimate on the spot and I agreed to have him do the work. He emailed the next day a contract that listed all the details of the job and the pricing. He also found a system to help straighten the crooked tree. About two weeks later Greg showed up when he said he would 10 a.m. on Monday the 29 of October and finished the job. He and his co worker were kind and effecient.

I First called Michaels Tree Expert & left a message on 9-8-12. They NEVER returned our call! Then I called Applied Tree Services, LLC on 9-10-12 and & they responded very quickly. They came out the next day and did a very nice job of grinding the stump down and some tree trimming of our Weeping Cherry tree. He also explained in detail what I was to do to get the grass growing over the stump area & it has worked. Very nice & very professional. They also were very prompt in returning my phone call and were also very prompt to their appt.

He did good work, was personable, and was a gentleman. He offered me an arm on a steep part of my yard, which was last year. I had him come back and look and see if my trees needed more deadwooding and he confirmed they did not. My neighbor found some tree limbs that were hanging over their power lines so I called Greg. He said he'd come back in the following week and he did. I wanted to make sure I didn't have any legal problems so Greg handled it quickly and did a good job. The neighbor in the end was quiet pleased.

Great service. By far the most reasonable price we were quoted and he did a great job. Will definitely hire him again!

Great (and prompt) service. Greg and his assistant came in and performed the work (on a holiday,no less), just a couple days after I requested the quote. He saved a tree that I had figured would need to be removed, saving us a lot of money in the process. Communication was excellent, While they were on site for the Pear tree work, they even took care of a few shrubs that I had been wanting to remove. Cleanup was perfect. Great experience in every way.

They were already in our neighborhood when I called for a quote on the tree trimming. Greg ran by and gave us a quote and told us about the tree being infected and to contact Indy Ash. Greg and his team came by later and trimmed the branches we needed and completely cleaned up all debris. They evey showed me a part of the bark where the Emerald Ash Borer had been doing damage. Due to Greg's insight and advice, we may be able to save our huge ash tree. If we have any work ever needed again on our trees, we will definitely call Applied Tree Service...they are fantastic!

In both cases I had problems that other tree companies would not give me solutions too. I was told I would have to get rid of all the arboritae trees, when Greg showed me they could do well if cut back. He removed just the one that needed removing.This mean I didn't have to worry about repopulating a vacant area with trees, at considerable expense.With one of the large weeping willows that I showed another company, I was told it didn't have a long life span anyways and it would never look good, so I should just leave it. It really looked terrible with all those huge dead branches. When Greg and his partner got through with it, the trees and my back yard looked great again. He ground down the branches and used them as mulch around the tree, and cutback large grasses around the tree. He then fed/injected the tree to improve it's chances of good health.I had read that to watch him is art, and artistry is what he does - I realized that while watching him use manual tools to take down huge branches. He obviously cares about trees and takes pride in his workThe charges were fair. In the future, I wouldn't call anyone else.

Just as promised. Cut down, grind old stump, remove tree and limbs to machine which mulched them in to the back of their truck. Clean up was great.

Can't say enough about Greg and his helper. They showed up on time, did an excellent job on the tree trimming - which was not easy considering they had to work on a very steep hill and work around lots of hostas and ferms, boat dock etc. They were very careful about my garden. They cleaned up everything beautifully. If you have any tree work to be done CALL GREG! You won't regret it. You'll get a job well done, at a reasonable price, and you'll really enjoy talking to him. He's a great guy.

Excellent job. We are very satisfied with the price and the work. Greg came out and estimated the job as soon as we called him and scheduled the job as soon as the cable parts were obtained. We have already scheduled him for more work.

The pricing was good. I would use them again in the future.

Applied submitted a very competitive bid, but I was as concerned about making sure that the tree removal was done carefully as I was that it be done inexpensively. Upon my request, Greg gave me a detailed explanation of how he would remove the tree and directed his insurance company to send me a copy of his insurance for my review. Greg carefully lowered the limbs out of the tree on his way up and carefully dropped 16" to 18" logs on the way down. Not only was our house safe, but even the plants right next to the tree were undamaged. Even our neighbor behind me commented after Greg left on how impressed he was with how careful and efficient the removal was. Scheduling was prompt and all the work was done in a day. Clean-up was great. As I requested, they left wood chips and a neatly stacked pile of split hickory wood. I could not be more pleased with the quality of service.

Greg and his team showed up on time, told me what they were going to do and got right to work. Periodically Greg walked me around to show what was done and what needed to be done. His explanations were understandable and the work very neatly done. The entire team worked steadily and they finished a tremendous amount of work (we contracted for a full day). This Spring all the flowering trees look phenomenal and our lawn service is greatful the low branches are gone. Applied Tree Service knows their stuff and charges half what was quoted by big tree operation used by neighbors. Will use them again.
