She is very professional and checked the quality of the work. She checked on the workers during the project to make sure it is being done correctly and also when the work was completed.

Esther Zehr was great to work with. She helped us every step of the way to select the best materials available, as well as color selection. She is an excellent manager of details and her crew. The work crew are professional, courteous, and very good painters. We got excellent results and our home looks beautiful. They just did great work and we were so happy we picked Zehr Decorating Inc.

Arrived on time first day and painted all ceilings and trim in each room and casting around windows. Now the trim work around the hallway and door frames was on already painted walls. They taped all around each frame except the one area around the den door frame and got trim paint all over the wall. My husband called her and she was rude and said well you have paint to the hall we can touch that up. We do not have that hallway paint anymore that was purchased 4 years ago and recently thrown out it got unusable and old looking. She claimed that I told her that we had hallway paint I certainly did not tell her that because I knew we had thrown that paint out. Then she calls the painter and he agrees with her that that was what I said. My husband was standing right there and heard her say do not paint these walls. So her comment to me was well I have to eat the cost of the paint and next time I will record our conversation and write it down and you sign it. So in other words she was calling me a liar. Then the next day they came to paint the walls of the rooms. Did great on the den and living room but awful job on the bathroom. They didn't sand any of the walls can see every imperfection and the old paint bleed through the new paint. I had to go and repaint there mistakes. This is the 3rd time I had Esther paint for me but never again is she coming here. She was Rude and in too much of a hurry to get the job done right. They were here the first day 4 hrs. and the second 6 hrs. I honestly think she had another job going and rushed mine and made mistakes doing the job. I have gotten Ester many jobs over the years of painting but will not recommend her again to any family and friends. I don't trust her anymore . Oh and also my husband bought breakfast for the guys the first day they were here and it really upset me that he stood next to her agreeing that I told them we had paint for the hallway. She lied and he backed her up. I most certainly did not tell them I had hallway wall paint. I knew we didn't. They lied to cover there mistakes and he did admit he didn't tape it off. You don't come in my house and play me for a fool. We are Done with Zehr and her Team !!

They did an exceptional job. When unforeseen circumstances occurred , it was handled quickly & professionally. The job took a bit longer than scheduled, but all work & services were performed as promised.

The best thing about them was the ability to contact them and their response back. I got immediate responses and co-ordination so far and they did a good job. There were some issues and they resolved it as quickly. Their price was good and I didn’t have anything to compare it to. I felt it as reasonable because they painted all the walls as well. I had all the walls done, sheetrock and doing the painting so that job included some patch work for us as well. They had very good responsiveness. Punctuality was good as when we scheduled hem to come and do the work, they were here. They were very prompt and very professional.

She was great in helping me pick the colors. Her team was professional in there work. They tackled the job and was done in a few hours time. They cleaned all there mess up. Results were fantastic.

Esther helped me with my color choice. After we had made a color decision, I called her and told her the one we wanted, and she purchased all of the paint and painting supplies and brought them on the day of the job. I was very pleased that I didn't have to go and get the paint. She was professional but friendly, prompt, and courteous. The painters arrived on the dot and got right to work. They painted our two-story living room and surrounding hallways. They taped off all trim and put down lots of drop-cloths. We chose a zero VOC paint from Sherwin Williams and didn't have to leave the house, but did go out and run some errands. The painters were polite and got the job done quickly-- It was all done in one day and that was amazing to me! Though Esther told us it wouldn't take more than a day, I didn't see how it could be done... but they did it and it turned out beautiful! It is a perfect paint job around all the trim, no drips or paint spots, and excellent paint coverage throughout the room. I am ecstatically happy with the room now... it is beautiful! I am sure I will be calling Zehr Decorating again when it's time to paint my kitchen.

They were very prompt with their estimates. The owner of the company did oversee their people and she picked out more stuff than we did. They were very cooperative. Her attitude was very good. She was prompt with when she was going to be here which sometimes with contractors is not the case.

Between the quote and actual work done, it took over a month to complete, but thats because the roof replacement had to be done first, so that debris from roof removal did not damage the new paint. Before the job started, Esther(owner) met with me at the house several times to confirm paint options, as some paint options were not available. I would highly recommend loading your pictures into a paint manufacturers website and using their software to paint color options on the pictures to see how the house would look after painting. After 5 different paint variations, Esther and I discussed the options and came up with an appropriate color combination that would help looks and resale value. Zehr Decorating did a good job and I would recommend them to everyone else.

We had contacted another company along with them and they were the only ones who contacted us back. It is owned by Esther Zehr and she had guys do the work. They could do the work on a very short notice. They were professional. They said they would be here at a certain time and they showed up. They did the work, cleaned up after themselves and did a very nice job.
