Wisman's Appliance

Needed seals replaced. Thoroughly checked appliance for other issues. Said if this does not stop leak, other repairs would cost more than new machine. Also gave honest, helpful advice on front load washer that vibrates and walks.

According to the repairman, there was nothing wrong with the washer. He ran all the diagnostics and they were good. He suggested I use less detergent. So far it has worked.

They are professional and they know what they are doing.

Very well, came out promptly, saw the problem, ordered part, returned in a few days to complete the job.

I was happy with the service. They responded promptly. They had to order the magnetron, but that took only a couple of days. The price seemed reasonable to me. It was $69 for the 1st service call (to diagnose the problem), and then about $85 for the part and $42 labor.

This repair job went very well.

The service provider arrived promptly when scheduled. He checked the washer and determined its repair cost would be more than a replacement. He advised looking over their stock and I could use a discount from the service call in the process. The dryer vent was found to be inappropriate and broken. The repairman replaced vent and other hardware without cost. I later stopped at the appliance store and looked at inventory both new and used. I found a suitable replacement and arranged for it to be delivered and installed the following day. The sales person was very helpful and arranged installation and removal of the old washer. Today (1/15/2016) the washer was delivered early in the window of the time period they gave, installed and checked. I was pleased with the price, the contact with sales, and the professionalism of the two installers. I will be doing business with Wisman's Appliances and Service again in the future.

The service call was fine, they were prompt & professional & the dishwasher is fixed! I was happy with them. I only gave them a "B" on price because he charged $67 for the service call & $24 for labor & it only took about 20 minutes; I thought that was a little pricey. But I was satisfied & would use them again.

After having bought a scratch and dent front loading washer a year ago, when our fridge decided to quit after 23 years, we naturally went to Wisman's first. Explained what happened to current fridge, went to back room to examine scratch and dent selection, and picked one out. Had to go home to take a measurement to be sure it fit and then we went back to store with truck and made the purchase. They even let us use a hand cart that we didn't end up needing, but was nice to have just in case.

Very efficient. They did a very good job. Very timely. Really nice group.

Price was very good. Size was just what we were looking for in a extra refrigerator. Salesman was cordial and had all the information we needed. Delivery was free. Free 10 year warranty on compressor. Very good experience.

I got their name & number from my best friend. She has used them several times and always had very good service so you know how that goes - good enought for her, good enough for me.

Other than having to wait a week to have the next Saturday appointment the visit was short and the repair completed quickly.

Another service company was suppose to call us. When I did not get a call after an hour I called the store, were I had bought the dishwasher and complained. I was given a GL service number. Who told me would get a call from Wissmans. Wissmans call to set up the appointment within in less than, 15 minutes. I set up an appointment and they came as promised. By the way the other service called me back at the end of the day and I was told I could have service for 4 days. When I told the lady that I had service coming the 2 days she asked me did such and such service company beat them to the call, I quietly hung the phone up. I have had Wissmas come out for old and new applances for the last 30 years and they never had to come out a second time.

They are very good. They are very informative about appliances that may need to be repaired.

I am neutral when it comes to their service. The worker was timely and professional. He gave me good advice on cleaning my dishwasher, but he couldn't solve the problem.

It took longer and there was some confusion on who was supposed to call who and I had to call them. They didn't completely put it all back together, its functional but they didn't put all the screws on the back. I would probably not recommend them, I think they were probably too busy and they have more business than they can keep up with. They did repair the dryer and it still works.

The Repair person came with in the stated time .He know immediately what the problem was. He showed me exactly how to do the simple fix if it should happen again. He was pleasant and professional. I requested a replacement part and he called back in a short time to give me the cost. I can pick it up and install it myself, that will save me a service call. I do wish their window of arrival time (between 1PM and 5PM) was a little shorter.
